WWE Champion CM Punk Injured After Attack by Chris Jericho on Monday?

It has not been a great week for CM Punk after he defeated Chris Jericho to retain his WWE championship at WrestleMania 28 on Sunday in Miami. Following his rather one-sided championship match against Mark Henry on Raw, Punk was assaulted by Y2J. He then poured alcohol all over the Straight-Edge Superstar before busting another bottle over his head.
What injuries did the WWE champion suffer after being worked over by both Henry and Jericho?

As noted earlier, WWE.com is reporting that CM Punk suffered a contusion to the back of his head after Chris Jericho's attack on Raw this past Monday night. It appears that the report is just part of the storyline. We have updated the earlier post.
You have to give it to the WWE for trying to expand on the storyline between Punk and Jericho. However, there is just one problem with the scenario.
The bottle didn’t actually hit the back of Punk’s head to cause the contusion that the WWE reported in the release.
Outside of the botched bottle bust, it was smart move to take the feud between Jericho and Punk in this direction. Someone is finally challenging Punk's straight-edge lifestyle that the WWE champion has talked about ever since his debut for the company in 2006.
With Extreme Rules coming up at the end of the month, I think the WWE should definitely have another match between Jericho and Punk after the awesome match they had at WrestleMania 28.
