Macho' Camacho Arrested Accused of STOMPING Child

Former boxing champ Hector "Macho" Camacho has been arrested for child abuse ... after allegedly slamming his teenage son to the ground and stomping on him last year.
According to the Orlando Sentinel, the 49-year-old boxer turned himself into authorities yesterday ... over the incident that allegedly went down at his ex-wife's home on March 22, 2011.
Macho's kid reportedly told authorities he believed the boxer was "high on drugs" during the incident.
11:40 AM PDT -- Macho's rep tells TMZ ... the boxer is adamant he is not a drug user ... and says, "Everything has been resolved between him and his family."
The rep says the dispute began when he got into an argument with his 2 teenage sons about money that was missing from his wallet.. Macho says he did get angry ... but called the police himself before anything happened.
