UKs' Drugs Lord Curtis Warren 60, Arrested at Home of Female Warden He Had Affair With in Prison

Notorious Gangster Curtis Warren Arrested Months After Release as Police Mount Dawn Raid.

Curtis Warren, a notorious drug dealer has been arrested by the National Crime Agency at the Tyneside home of his partner who he had an affair with while he was behind bars

BBC NEWS 6 JUL 2023

So Where’s The £200 Million???...

Notorious drug dealer Curtis Warren has been arrested at the home he shares with a prison officer who was jailed for having an affair with him behind bars.

National Crime Agency officers arrested the 60-year-old at his partner’s home at 6am on Wednesday for allegedly breaching a Serious Crime Prevention Order.

He was questioned over alleged breaches of the order which came into force on his release from jail after 14 years last November.

The NCA said the breaches “relate to the unauthorised use of mobile phones, vehicles, bank accounts and travel”.

NCS video footage shows officers battering the front door of Warren’s partner, former jail officer Stephanie Smithwhite, in Boldon Colliery, Tyneside.

He has allegedly breached a Serious Crime Prevention Order

Smithwhite, 44, was jailed for two years in 2020 over her relationship with Warren at HMP Frankland, where she was working and he was serving time.

Stephanie Smithwhite had a relationship with drug dealer Curtis Warren while at HMP Frankland, near Durham.

The 40-year-old Smithwhite, from Boldon Colliery, had previously admitted two counts of misconduct in public office.

Durham Crown Court was told that she became infatuated by the "major league offender" and had a tattoo done of his name.

Liverpool-born Warren was serving 13 years for conspiracy to import drugs and then handed 10 more after failing to abide by a £198m confiscation order.

NCA officers also carried out searches at an address in the Royal Albert Dock area of Liverpool where it is understood that Warren has been staying.

A spokesperson said mobile devices, documents and cash were seized. The operation was supported by Merseyside Police and the North East Regional Organised Crime Unit.

Warren’s former barrister Anthony Barraclough confirmed to the Mirror that Warren was the man arrested, even though he was not named by the NCA.

Mr Barraclough, retained by Warren’s solicitors to provide advice, said: “Any breaches will be minor transgressions. These will be very fine interpretations of restrictions I anticipate.

“I imagine he was in Tyneside to visit friends. He is allowed to travel and have mobile phones, bank accounts and up to £1,000 in cash.

He can travel abroad if he gives seven days notice.

“If he is going to be away from home he needs permission and he has had permission. I have not spoken to him yet as he is in custody,” added Mr Barraclough.

Alison Abbott, from the NCA, said: “These court orders are vital tools for preventing and deterring future and offending. Once criminals come onto our radar, they never leave, and the NCA will take action over breaches.”

Breaches are subject to a maximum sentence of five years, an unlimited fine, or both

Warren, from Liverpool, has spent most of the last 25 years in prisons for drug-related offences.

Nicknamed the “****y Watchman” and also referred to as 'Britain's Pablo Escobar', Warren spoke no foreign languages and had a limited education, yet he successfully negotiated with dealers worldwide.

He used his remarkable memory to store details and avoid incriminating himself on paper.

An NCA spokesperson confirmed tonight that the 60-year-old from Liverpool was bailed pending further enquiries.
