Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene should “actually do some work” in the Congress after publicly calling for a “national divorce” between Republican and Democratic states in the US, says Cypress College’s Professor of Political Science Peter Matthews.

“This is outrageous to actually call for the break-up of the United States,” Professor Matthews told Sky News Australia.

“You’re looking at provoking the possibility of a new civil war.

“Marjorie Taylor Greene should go back to doing legislation and actually do some work in the Congress and stop siding people in terrible and nefarious ways.”
