A butcher has been charged with the sexual assault and abduction of an 11-year-old girl.

Trans butcher Andrew Miller arrived at court charged in connection with the disappearance of an 11-year-old girl in the Scottish Borders.
Andrew Miller, 53 — also known as Amy — was arrested after the child was found at a house in Galashiels, Selkirkshire, following a 27-hour search.
He was charged with alleged abduction and sexual assault including sexual exposure to a young child.
Miller was charged with further offences including the possession of an indecent photograph of a child, behaving in a threatening and/or abusive manner and forcing a child to look at a sexual image.
Miller made no plea and was remanded in custody. He will appear in court at a later date.
