Reports: Chelsea target allowed to leave Real Madrid in the summer
Chelsea could finally land long-term target Kaka in the summer with the Brazilian and Real Madrid ready to part company.
Spanish newspaper Marca, closely associated to the La Liga leaders, report that the 29-year-old will be allowed to leave the Spanish capital at the end of the season.
Kaka has suffered an injury plagued time at the Bernabeu since he arrived from AC Milan in 2009 for £56m in the same summer as Ronaldo. The two Galacticos' fates have differed greatly with the former Manchester United man going from strength-to-strength while Kaka has been reduced to a squad player.
Real are ready to listen to offers of around £30m and they believe Chelsea, Inter Milan and Paris Saint-Germain will be interested in signing the midfielder who wants more regular football clubs in a bid to secure a place in Brazil's 2014 World Cup squad.
Andre Villas-Boas' future at Chelsea may be under scrutiny after a run of disappointing results but the club's owner Roman Abramovich is a long-time admirer of Kaka and he could take the decision to sign the playmaker into his own hands.
