Pacquiao to make ring return in May or June

MANILA, Philippines – Filipino boxing superstar Manny Pacquiao plans to return to the ring in mid-2012.
Michael Koncz, Pacquiao’s Canadian adviser, said the Filipino champion will first enjoy his vacation from the ring before preparing for his next fight.
"We're going to fight sometime in May or June," Koncz said
Pacquiao is not rushing things on choosing his next opponent, especially now that his supposed fight against Floyd Mayweather Jr. has been shelved.
Among the fights being considered for Pacquiao are possible rematches against Juan Manuel Marquez and Miguel Cotto.
Also being considered are bouts against junior welterweight champions Timothy Bradley and Lamont Peterson.
"There's no plan for Manny right now, except that we're going to enjoy the Christmas holidays and then we'll figure everything out later on," said Koncz.
Pacquiao is coming off a close fight against Marquez last November 12 in Las Vegas.
The Filipino champion earned a majority decision verdict against his Mexican rival and retained his WBO welterweight belt.
