Duchess WINS Bombshell Court Case RE Private Letter to Dad Despite Explosive Claims

Meghan Markle Hits Out After Court Victory and Slams Deception and Intimidation

Meghan Markle said she was standing up for "anyone who has ever felt scared to stand up for what is right" in a blistering statement following the appeal ruling

The Sun UK & Ireland 2 DEC 2021.

MEGHAN Markle has dramatically won her latest legal battle - despite explosive claims that threatened her credibility.

The Duchess of Sussex, 40, sued the Mail on Sunday over the publication of the "personal and private" letter she sent to Thomas Markle in 2018.

The High Court issued a summary judgment in February - meaning she won the case without having to face a messy high-profile trial.

But publishers Associated Newspapers Limited appealed against the ruling - arguing the judge was not aware of all the facts at the time.

Today judges at the Court of Appeal ruled in Meghan's favour and dismissed the appeal, meaning she definitely won't have to come face-to-face with her father for a blockbuster courtroom showdown.
