Prince Harry will not be allowed to wear his military uniform as he presents five war heroes with medals at a gala in New York next week because of him being stripped of his titles after quitting royal life

Prince Harry will not be able to wear his military uniform when he awards war heroes with medals next week.
The Duke of Sussex, 37, will next week be attending a gala onboard a warship in New York to award five war heroes with medals.
But despite him twice serving in Afghanistan, he will not be able to wear his military uniform due to him being stripped of his honorary titles.
Harry lost his titles after he and Meghan Markle, 40, announced in March last year they were abandoning their lives as senior royals to shape their own path abroad.
They now live in a multi-million dollar mansion in Montecito, in California's Santa Barbara, with their kids Archie and Lilibet. They had first moved to Vancouver Island in Canada.
Harry had wanted to retain the honorary positions, including Captain General of the Royal Marines, but was unable to do so.
