Wild Card: Detroit Lions at New York Giants

Losing two in a row has everyone in the national media seeing the Giants producing yet another late-season collapse. One look at their schedule suggests that it's even more likely.
Although I see the skid reaching three games this Sunday with the trip to the Superdome, they still have the benefit of two games with Dallas, their chief rival in terms of winning the NFC East and
Eli Manning has enough of an edge over that subpar Dallas secondary to sweep the series.
The division championship will set up a great showdown with the Lions, who will land the fifth-seed over Chicago because the Packers will lay down in Week 17, opting to rest their starters.
And as great of a story as the Lions' return to the postseason will be, the Giants pass rush and the improvement in their secondary (Prince Amukamara) can really frustrate
Matthew Stafford, especially since they have a very unreliable running game.
Prediction:
Giants 31, Lions 14
