Update re: Prince Harry & Meghan Have Baby Girl- Lilibet Diana

Prince Harry Feels Free in California and Takes Archie Out on Back of Bike

The Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry, was speaking on the Armchair Expert podcast about his life in California, on the west coast of the US, away from the royal family

Prince Harry feels free in California and is able to take Archie out on back of his bike, he has said on a podcast.

The Duke spoke about how his life changed since quitting as a senior member of the royal family and moving to America with Meghan and now two-year-old Archie.

Harry, 36, said in London he became used to making constant attempts to stay under the radar while out and about - often wearing baseball caps and walking with his head lowered.

In a bid to keep themselves out of the spotlight, Harry revealed he and Meghan even met in disguise at a supermarket for one of their dates.

He said they pretended not to know each other to try and stay 'incognito', adding: "I had a baseball cap on, looking down at the floor, trying to stay incognito. It's amazing how much chewing gum you see, it's a mess!"

But, Harry said his Californian life couldn't be more different and is able to "lift his head".

Speaking on the Armchair Expert podcast, he said: "Living here now I can lift my head. I feel different, my shoulders have dropped.

"You can walk around feeling a bit more free. I take Archie out on the back of my bike.".

The Prince recently said California has now become his spiritual home where the anger of the past has gone, a journalist who once interviewed the duke has claimed.

Journalist, author and mental health advocate Bryony Gordon said that the Duke of Sussex now had a "sense of purpose" after his move to the US.

Bryony previously got Harry to open up about his mental health battle in the wake of Princess Diana's death in her podcast in 2017.

In an article for the Daily Telegraph she said that Harry, now living in a $14 million mansion in Montecito with his pregnant wife Meghan and son Archie, had found a "sense of purpose" after leaving the Firm last year.

She said: "The anger of the past has gone, and it has been replaced with a sense of purpose. California is not just Harry’s physical home for now – it is also his spiritual one, where nobody thinks anything of openly discussing their struggles.

"And the Prince Harry we can’t see is perhaps the one we don’t want to – the one who is getting on just fine, happily following his own path outside the conventions we are used to seeing him in. Hiking. Taking the dogs to the beach.

Harry recently returned to America after a brief visit to the UK to attend Prince Philip's funeral.

But, despite the short reunion with brother William, the pair are reportedly still "not talking" and their relationship remains "frosty".

The Princes' ongoing rift is said to have widened after Harry and Meghan's bombshell tell-all interview with American TV host Oprah Winfrey.

In it, Harry claimed his brother and father, Charles, were 'trapped' in their roles within the Royal Family.

Despite briefly reconnecting at Prince Philip's funeral, sources claim the brothers are still "not talking", according to royal writer Nick Bullen.

The editor of True Royalty TV told US Magazine : "All of my sources tell me that they are not talking at the moment."

However, Bullen claims that despite the relationship remaining "frosty", their brief reunion at the Duke of Edinburgh's funeral is a step in the right direction.

He also claimed Kate Middleton was also playing her role in helping reunite the feuding princes, adding: "It's pretty clear the Duchess of Cambridge was doing her best to build the bridges."
