Mayweather was promoting his fight with Logan Paul but it was the YouTube stars' brother who stole the show

Jake Paul was left with a black eye

Jake Paul was left sporting a black eye after an ugly brawl with Floyd Mayweather in Miami.

Mayweather was promoting his fight with Jake's older brother Logan when the younger sibling confronted him.

He demanded his own fight with the ring legend and then stole Mayweather's cap.

Mayweather ran after the social media star before grabbing him in a headlock and appearing to throw several punches.

At one stage Paul was seen picking himself up off the ground as Mayweather was dragged away.

He was later heard shouting, "I'll kill that motherf*****. When I catch you I'm going to kill you" as he was led away through the stadium while Paul tweeted simply, "Gotcha hat".

He later posted a picture to social media showing his black eye and revealed it was a member of Mayweather's entourage who caught him.

"Honestly have had three easy fights as a pro so been itching for some real action one of Floyd’s 30 bodyguards got a clean shot on me in the eye," Paul wrote.

His brother quipped: "Jake wanted to ask for his hat for his collection but Floyd wasn't happy about it because it's his favourite hat.

"I think its pretty f****** serious. I didn't expect Floyd Mayweather to try and kill my brother with all the security guards there."

He later added: "He told me he was going to do it and I told him not to.

"This s*** is so personal; this s*** was going to be kind of cute and we were going to put on a good show but now it's going to be a f****** fight, it's going to be a war.

"Floyd looked pretty emotional, he can act cool all he likes on stage but I think my brother is doing my job for me."

The fracas followed a face-off between Mayweather and Paul ahead of their exhibition bout at the Hard Rock Stadium on June 6.
