WWE News: Updates on the Undertaker and Michelle McCool Returning to WWE

Bleacherreport

One of the things that can ruin a relationship is mixed signals. If a guy sends a girl mixed signals, she gets pissed. Before you know it, they’re on the outs.

As a WWE columnist, mixed signals are pretty bad for me, too.

One day, I’ll read a report that says something is absolutely happening. The next day, I’ll read another report that says the exact opposite is happening.

I hate it, but it appears that The Undertaker and Michelle McCool are in the mood to send me some mixed signals this week.

On Monday, F4Wonline.com reported that WWE officials approached McCool about a return to the company. The report also stated that Undertaker likely wouldn’t be returning until around Wrestlemania.

However, it now appears that McCool is the one who’s approaching the WWE and Taker is already pitching ideas to get himself back on TV.

From the Wrestling Observer Newsletter (via SEScoops.com):

As previously reported, both The Undertaker and his wife Michelle McCool were backstage at the October 24th RAW Supershow from Austin, TX. According to sources backstage, both Undertaker and McCool were talking to WWE officials about possible scenarios where they could both return to television.

That would be a hell of a boost to the WWE, huh?

Maryse, Melina and Gail Kim all recently said bye bye to the company, so there’s no doubt that the Divas division needs as many talented performers as it can get.

I’ve never been the biggest fan of McCool, but she can outwrestle pretty much every Diva on the WWE roster that's not named Beth Phoenix or Natalya.

I’d be all for her returning, as long as she stays clear of the microphone and doesn’t dominate the Divas division like she did during her last run.

However, I think that Michelle’s only going to return if The Undertaker does as well. It’s been said that one of the main reasons she retired from the WWE earlier this year was to spend more time with her husband. If he gets back on the road with the WWE, she’ll likely be with him.

Not a bad package deal.

The Divas need Michelle, and we all want to see Taker back in the ring for one last run before he calls it a career. If they’re pitching ideas to get back on WWE TV, I fully expect that to happen.
