Walking down a street in Düsseldorf in the 1920s, you would quite possibly walk past Herr Kürten without even noticing him; even if you were sitting in a Biergarten on the next table as he sipped his Pilsner - he still may escape your attention. He was of small build and always immaculately dressed, no item of clothing was ever out of place.
Nevertheless, despite his dapper attire, he was nondescript. No irregular features that would make him stand out. Quite the chameleon....a perfect predator. Fräulein, you might not have noticed him....but he has more than likely noticed you.
