FULL Russia Report, Britain a Top Target For Vladimir Putin & UK Govn Underestimated Threat’ of Kremlin
Britain publishes a parliamentary report on Russian meddling by cross-party MPs and peers.

Parliament’s intelligence and security committee will publish the report with ISC Chairman Julian Lewis due to make his first public appearance since his shock election shortly after at a virtual press conference with other committee members.
The report is expected to detail Russia's attempt to influence the 2014 Scottish independence referendum, describing this as “the first post-Soviet interference in a Western democratic election.”
By contrast, Rayner says, the report “concludes there is no direct evidence of Russian influence in the 2016 Brexit referendum.”
Pro-Brexit Tories were understandably gleeful at this framing, although it does rather have the feel of some heavy topspin from figures inside government who would love today’s focus to be on the Scottish referendum.
