Since it was first established in 1852,Holloway was a closed category prison for adult women and young offenders until its closure in 2016.
Holloway has housed some of Britain’s most notorious female murderersFrom baby killers and from the last woman to be hanged, Ruth Ellis,to the Moors Murderer Myra Hindley, and serial killers Rose West, and Joanne Dennehy.
