Prince Louis Gets Messy for NHS in Four New Birthday Photos Taken by Kate Middleton

Proud mum Kate snapped her youngest boy as she helped him play around with a palette of paints to create a rainbow tribute for our NHS heroes

Daily Mirror UK, 23 APR 2020

The adorable pictures have been released to mark the young prince's second birthday

The photographs were taken earlier this month by the Duchess who has a passion for photography

His artwork resulted in a multi colored handprint which has been proudly on display by parents William and Kate in the window of their Norfolk home.

The family have been staying at Anmer Hall during the coronavirus outbreak with the Duke and Duchess taking part in a series of video calls to front line NHS workers and charities giving thanks and praise on behalf of the British public.

The Cambridge children delightfully showed commitment by standing in line, with little Louis in the middle, to clap in unison for the first moving "Clap for Our Carers" moment last month.

Prince Louis celebrated turning two - with his own tribute to NHS heroes

The three children have only been seen on "official" royal business on a handful of special occasions.

But William and Kate thought that it was important to recognise the sacrifices made by the nation’s care workers, that they let them stay up past their bedtime for the national event which has continued every Thursday at 8pm.

Daily Mirror royal photographer Ian Vogler praised Kate’s work behind the camera, saying: “Once again the Duchess has managed to catch her son at his cheekiest.

“The beauty of this picture is how natural and unposed it is.

“The trick to taking a good shot of a youngster is to have them busy doing something they enjoy while you snap the picture - this is really well composed and the use of natural daylight has really helped too.”

Happy Birthday Louis...
