Connecticut's Most HAUNTED HOUSE GHOST SIGHTING REVEALS...
•29 Feb 2020 Weird World
On Brickyard Rd, North Woodstock in Connecticut, stands an old farmhouse. It was dilapidated and almost beyond repair. It was a huge house compared to the smaller farmhouses that surrounded it with sixteen rooms.
The house was built by the Lyons family in the middle of the 18th century where it became the Lyons Tavern. After they sold the property it changed hands many times and belonged to the Potters, Redheads, Ides where it continued to operate as a tavern.
From the late 19th century to the late 1940s it was owned by the Duprey family where it was no longer a public house but had become a private residence.
