Spy chiefs want to hire dyslexics to work as analysts at its GCHQ listening base.
They say dyslexics, who can have problems reading and writing but are often very bright, boast skills to “simplify complicated processes” and are good team-players.
GCHQ bosses have also tried to attract middle-aged women by advertising on Mumsnet and used hidden graffiti to impress youngsters interested in a spying career.
GCHQ director Jeremy Fleming said dyslexics were an important part of the “mix of minds” at the secretive base in Cheltenham, Glos.

He said: “I have the best mathematicians, most talented engineers and hopefully some of the best analysts.
"I can see dyslexics in every bit of the business.
“Some of the things around joining the dots, about simplification, about seeing the bigger picture.”
Dyslexia affects one in 10 in the UK.
