Former Wrestlers Could be Preparing a Class Action Lawsuit Against WWE

There could be a big lawsuit brewing because of the WWE Network. The lawsuit would involve royalties involving people that appear on the network.
The argument would be that the network has taken the place of Blu Rays, DVD and pay-per-views. WWE DVD’s and Blu Ray’s still exist but they’ve taken a big hit since the network launched.
The Gilbert Family and Doug Somers unsuccessfully sued WWE over royalties for clips that were shown on regular TV but this potential lawsuit is different since the WWE Network is a paid service.
A lot of former wrestlers are aware of this and there has been talk of a possible class action lawsuit.
I can see this lawsuit opening up a whole new can of worms with current wrestlers.
There has been some unhappiness over pay-per-view revenue being down because of the network.
Wrestlers get a percentage of the pay-per-view buys but those pay-per-view numbers have dropped since the launch of the network.
