British boxing enigma Tyson Fury has verbally been on the rampage, goading his possible future opponent Deontay Wilder and promoter Richard Schaefer.
Appearing on Steve Bunce's boxing podcast for ESPN, the undefeated Mancunian heavyweight said:
Quote:

Hopefully I'll have a fight in February, the (Dereck) Chisora fight and then maybe if Deontay Wilder grows a pair of balls I might fight him as well. It's more to do with Richard Schaefer, he's the brains behind it all. He keeps saying my name and saying he's offered me this and that but there's never been anything in writing.

Fury is looking to get his career back on track after his all-British super fight with David Haye was cancelled, due to injury to the former heavyweight champion of the world. Undefeated Wilder would be an excellent test for Fury, although that will unlikely prove the Brit's next test. During the podcast, Fury continued:
Quote:

There are a lot of fighters out there who are pretend boxers and fighters and who really don't want to fight. I'll mention no names - Wladimir Klitschko, David Haye, Deontay Wilder. And I know Wilder's team talk a good fight and they say it's me [who is holding up negotiations], but I can guarantee you now it's nothing to do with me because I would go to America no problem, and do the same as I did to Steve Cunningham in April.

Fury is famous for his aggressive talk and no-holds-barred persona out of the ring. However, as an athlete his record stands up. Fifteen of his 21 victories have come by way of knockout, and at just 25-years-old the confident British fighter has his whole career ahead of him.

However, Fury's most famous fights seem to have come outside of the ring, with him using Twitter as his soundboard to challenge and goad. He recently upset Lennox Lewis, the former champion quoted the Telegraph:
Quote:

The way I look at it – Tyson Fury is just talk right now. He needs to prove himself, as a boxer. It’s funny – because all he talks is a lot of fluff. I'm saying 'Who is Tyson Fury?' His name does not even ring a bell, especially in the boxing fraternity right now.
Fury continues to use Twitter as his weapon of choice, recently tweeting:

Quote:

"Any fighters wanting to fight me make sure your promotors has a massive check book coz I don't fight for brass buttons. Show me da money!!!!"
2014 could be a huge year for Fury, if he can get in the ring and prove his quality. However, he claims that the WBC has frozen him out of the picture, per ESPN, and that the Klitschko brothers want no part in a fight with him.
If Fury gives as much value in the ring in future, as he does with his talking, he could be Britain's next big boxing star.
