Logan Paul stunned the majority of the boxing world by managing to last the eight rounds in his exhibition bout with Floyd Mayweather.

The YouTube star may have a height and weight advantage - he came in almost 30lbs heavier than his opponent - but the 50-0 legend was expected to have way, way too much.

And while he was rarely troubled, Mayweather was unable to knock Paul out, in what was the only way to officially ‘win’ the bout.

It was agreed before the fight at the Hard Rock Stadium that should both men make it through eight rounds, no winner would be declared.

However, some eagle-eyed fans believe that Mayweather did all he can to ensure the mega-money fight would go the distance.

Twitter user @Foot_Basket posted a clip from the sixth round showing the former pound-for-pound king slipping a shot from his amateur opponent before launching a counter punch that hit Paul flush on the chin.

The 26-year-old appeared to look shaky on his legs after the hook, with Paul and Mayweather clinching for the remaining seconds.

In fairness, Paul spent the vast majority of his night hugging his opponent in a fight that was far from one for the purists.
