Floyd Mayweather Jr. will spend 90 days in jail in a room just like this.

After being swarmed with requests about Mayweather's jail term, the Las Vegas Police Department released this picture of a similar cell that he will be staying in for the duration of his sentence.

The boxing star pleaded guilty to a reduced battery domestic violence charge and no contest to two harassment charges after a 2010 incident where Mayweather allegedly hit his ex-girlfriend, Josie Harris, and threatened two of their children during an argument at her home.

The 34-year-old Mayweather was also ordered to complete 100 hours of community service and pay a $2,500 fine. The plea deal avoids trial on felony allegations.
Mayweather will likely serve most of the 90-day sentence, but could serve several weeks less if he gets credit for good behavior, said Officer Bill Cassell, a Las Vegas police spokesman.
The cell is a far cry from the bedroom space Money Mayweather is used to:

WBC won't strip Mayweather of welterweight belt

Bleachers Report
Posted at 12/26/2011

MANILA, Philippines -- The World Boxing Council (WBC) will not be taking away undefeated boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr.'s welterweight championship belt.

According to Boxing Scene, WBC regulations rule that when a champion is jailed, the boxer is stripped of his title. Mayweather is set to serve 90 days in jail for a domestic abuse charge.

But WBC executive secretary Mauricio Sulaiman said the boxing sanctioning body is "standing behind" Mayweather, who has been ordered to report to the Clark County jail on January 6.

Sulaiman and the WBC board will not remove Mayweather's title yet, but they will review his case and announce a final decision in the coming weeks.

"The World Boxing Council has always been in the corner of the boxer," Sulaiman told Boxing Scene. "The organization was created to protect the fighter."

"We will try to achieve the most fair outcome for the fighter and the fans," he added.

Mayweather won the WBC welterweight championship last September 17 with a controversial 4th round knockout of former champion Victor Ortiz.

If it were anybody else, they would strip that belt in a heartbeat. It just goes to show that money talks.

It was obvious from that video, that he was originally a poor kid from "the Ghetto" ( no reflection on that or on anyone who lives in similar circumstances, the best of luck to them!!!)

But the way he was so chuffed at his glasses display and suede walls show it.

So having been brought up that way and probably having to fight his way through and out of it, his mental violent state has only been increased by the "Killer Ring" (You know I think Boxing and those violent sports should be illegalised, they only encourage violence in kids, who are even brought up in good families, as is proved in schools today)

That violence has continued, not only to his family (which he is now in jail for, but to others outside the Ring, (more court cases pending)

His "money team" should be getting him help, instead of just worrying about the bucks!, or this will continue
