Sickening moment a masked mob launched a frenzied attack on a transgender girl at a roller skating party in revenge for her lying about her gender identity before performing a sex act on a boy. In distressing CCTV released by the Met Police today, the hooded gang wearing masks and gloves can be seen lying in wait, dancing in excitement in a car park as the smiling unsuspecting victim approaches. In the video, which the victim gave permission to be shared, the teenager is punched in the face and the head just seconds after arriving with such force that she is thrown to the ground where the mob proceed to unleash blow after blow on her with 'great excitement'. The victim was kicked at least seven times by Betts-Ramsey before the 19-year-old pulled out a knife at Harrow Leisure Centre, in north-west London, on February 10 last year. While the girl lay helpless, Betts-Ramsey lunged at her 14 times, repeatedly knifing her in the nose, thigh, hand, and buttocks. In an orgy of violence, which was filmed and plotted on Snapchat, all five teenagers piled in after she was punched to the floor, kicking, stabbing and stamping on her while she lay curled up in a ball. The mob, unmasked for the first time at their sentencing hearing today, also senselessly beat her with a pair of roller skates and boots before snatching her handbag and fleeing, leaving the victim in a pool of blood. Appearing at the Old Bailey today, Betts-Ramsey was sentenced alongside 18-year-olds Bradley Harris, Camron Osei and Shiloh Hindedas, and a 17-year-old boy, who cannot be named, after all admitted causing grievous bodily harm with intent. Betts-Ramsey will serve at least four-and-half years in a young offenders institution, with an extended sentence of four years on license after she was deemed a dangerous offender The judge added: Her gloating in the aftermath of the attack was shamelessly hateful and dehumanising. Meanwhile, Harris, Hindes and Osei have all been locked up for three years in a young offenders institution. The 17-year-old boy was handed an 18-month youth rehabilitation order and will be electronically tagged for three months.
