Phillip and Nancy Garrido abducted Jaycee Dugard when she was 11 years old

In 1976, Katie was abducted and raped after trying to do a good deed for a stranger.

Phillip Garrido was sentenced 431 years to life in prison.

After pleading guilty to one count of kidnapping and 13 counts of sexual assault, Garrido was sentenced to 431 years to life in prison in June 2011. That same day, Nancy earned a sentence of 36 years to life.
