Loftus Hall also appeared in episodes of the paranormal investigation series Irish Ghost Hunters and Ghost Adventures.
The latter show went to air after the eerie ghost photo went viral in 2014. The photo, snapped by Englishman Thomas Beavis, shows what appear to be two specters observing a tour group through one of the many windows of Loftus Hall.
Beavis told the New Ross Standard that his group were all feeling somewhat edgy on the tour, but when he showed the photo to his friends they became totally unnerved.

The Haunting ANCIENT HOUSE GHOST STORY With a Twist

At the turn of the last century, a young Englishman set off for a day trip. He drove for miles from the East of his home county, across the Downs and along coastland, then turned inland through hills, woods and hidden villages.
Heading through a thickly forested area, the track began to descend, and eventually Kim decided to turn back in case it ended in a swamp.
However, then seeing sunshine ahead, he continued until he found himself on the turf of a great lawn, and surrounded by massive topiary sculptures of horsemen with raised lances, huge pea****s, and maids of honour - all hewn of clipped yew.
Across the lawn stood an ancient house of lichened and weather worn stone, with ornate windows and roofs of red tile.

Early last century, English aristocrat Lady Anne Selsdon enjoyed visiting friends in the country. However, on one occasion, she was shocked to find herself in the location of a sinister paranormal presence.
At one stage some married friends moved into an old home, an ancient Hall dating back to the seventeenth century, in the county of Buckinghamshire. The couple were very popular and hospitable, and so welcomed many visitors to their rural abode.
It was during one spring that Selsdon was feeling particularly rundown, and so needing a rest cure with her vivacious friends. Unfortunately, on calling her friend Dorothy, she was informed that the couple had a full house the following weekend.

It started out as an extremely loud thumping from left to right, then right to left, then followed by high-pitched laughter. The sounds were so loud in the attic, that it even penetrated through to the bedroom.
They both listened in fear as the running and laughter continued throughout the night...

It’s unknown why the English Lady Elizabeth Pennyman decided to take her two daughters to France to live temporarily, just at the start of the French Revolution.
