O wildhoney66....May I ask if your site is so private, why it only opens once a month to 'get new members' so how can they find you? :dunno:....


Many sites on the NET knew from last year that zzzBoltzzz was compromised..


But their members still didnt get it...as do many members of another HUGE site so popular on the net as to why they are now down so often and members trying to find a new home as you mention..

sorry for not getting back to ya sooner, yes the site is private normally but one day a month it is open to the public. we had it open for awhile not that long ago when Boltz.... we found out it closed and a slew of members from there came to us.



i was talking to a friend at work about my site and he says to me you guys should get an app. which isn't a bad idea in itself but like you are going to say that's not something you would do for here and i agree, we aren't going to do it either cause i was telling one of the folks on staff about that and even they also didn't like it.



i don't think he realizes we are a private site and we intend to stay private. and with a site like ours which isn't as big as others on the net. i'm not sure what the owner who is a really nice guy i think does about hiding the site? i never thought about asking him though.

Years ago I informed friends why they should stop using Social Media like FCKBook and they didnt believe me.. Now look whats happened and there is more to come on that ..

There is no such thing as a private site, so you dont need to close it for part of each month, that wont protect you..

well that's true i can see what you mean but hey it's not my site ya know? a friend of mine drives a truck and he's on the road all the time. i've known this guy going on 27 years this year. no joke anyways i was talking to him a week or so ago on the phone. as he does now have my celly number since i got my phone this past December.


i say it like that cause i hadn't spoken to him on the phone for a few years since he's lives a long way from me and hence why we rarely spoke on the phone unless he calls me. and we got rid of our phone well our house Phone this past May actually and it still feels weird not having that.


anyways he goes to me dude you need to get face fux so ya can see where i'm at and what i'm doing all the time. i told him no sorry dog i hate social media and will never use it. you are right we do have so little privacy online but since i don't have social media i have i'd like to think a little more than if i did have social media.



yes i could be wrong but i'd like to think i'm not

we have 8,000 some members on my site which isn't bad
