Extabit Have More Problems- Site is Down
 

Once again this File Host has problems on their server, which is causing problems for their users. This has happened many times before & many times I have asked our Uploaders to STOP using them.

I decided to "test" their premium service, and only after them taking my money (2 weeks ago), did I discover, that their Premium service does not work!!!

I put it a ticket and even since I have been fobbed off with different excuses. Finally today they decided to tell the truth, after I persisted. I received this email;

DUH! I have asked for a refund or credit for the 13 days that the Premium Acct I paid for wasnt working. I will let you know their response, but in the meantime I read their terms and found that NO refunds are allowed!

We will see....... :umm:

I warned U about this previously U have to go to the Credit Card company & demand a refund.

Extabit refuses.

& Paypal months ago dropped them I do not know if they have put them back on.

But Extabit is not a Legit company in my books.

They suck as many people in as they can & oh! the servers are overloaded.

I remember your warnings before, even though just one other person continued to recommend them.

Now Extabit are using;

Avanagate

which are a "Back door way to overcome the problems with PPal.

I know they are "crooks", I just wish Uploaders would realise that, despite all my warnings.

Even though my signature is appealing for donations right now, because I am really struggling with my money problems to pay the bills for this site, I will change my signature to add;


"EXTABIT IS BANNED FROM THIS SITE, they cheat members that buy Premium"

I did my best before, Doctor1, to warn my members, but even I was sucked in just recently, because the only links available to what I needed, was by being a Prem member for Extabit to download it.

I may lose my $$$ that I paid, which I badly need, but trust me I will cost Extabit a lot more by my recommendations , to save any more of my members being cheated. ;)

You are not the only person on many sites & on the net, for a long time, that have reported they have been cheated, I greatly appreciate your post to warn other folk. :)

Me I have not had a problem with them as far as I can see they have fixed the problem.
If you go into your account for them there is a place to check for direct download.

I haven't had the Premium service which I paid for since I bought it two weeks ago. They may have fixed their problem (yet again, as this happens with them so often), but they still have not replied to my request on the ticket to give me a credit for the two weeks I have not had that service.

I will let you know if they do.

Use Extabit premium as well. When downloading big (several GB) files, it happens quite often that it doesn’t download completely and the last few MB are missing, so one can start all over. Parallel downloading is a joke.

No wonder that PayPal rejected them, after all the complaints they probably received from users.

I am amazed how some of these people run their business. Netload premium was fast and not too bad, but is also rejected by PayPal now, so they offer "pay by Credit Card" through their unsecured (no ssl encrypted) website. They also use resellers in India, Turkey, South America and direct you to sites, of which I can’t even understand the language.

Nothing like the good old Filesonic day’s and Rapidshare before they started with Rapids.

I agree, but I use mostly File Factory and they have never let me down, their support response is good too.

When you buy Prem with them, you also are given a free Turbo Booster Downloader and its great. They often have special offers on too, I got my Prem Act with them for $39.95 for a whole year

I cant understand why so many uploaders use extabit, they complain about them too,

Extabit are from Russia and now use Avangate for all payments I only paid for Premium recently with them, as it was something I wanted and found but only with Prem links,,,,I couldnt find it elsewhere

Again just throwing my 2 cents in if you look at there web site you can use web payment or credit card now also yes had a lot of problem with them at first but have not had a problem lately also wright now for a year it is $90. I use Internet Download Manger with all my downloads works with RS, FF, Ex and most of the other one ya you have to pay for it but it works great and yes Ladybbird I just got another offer from FileFactory for the $39.95 and got on there and extended my Premium account for another year and they did it to bad there are not that meany using it people bitch about it also. extended

Yes it is a shame more Uploaders dont use FFactory, they seem to prefer Extabit for some silly reason, yet I have seem then complaining about them on many other sites.... :dunno:

Well I normally have a Premium with FF.
I did have on with Extabit which I had no problems with ... But ... when it came to ReNew and they wanted my CC details. I said NO and when I emailed them I only got back Crap replies. So now I use other methods to DL their links at a fast rate.
I will NOT support this company anymore Because of the Crap Email replies that I got from them.
