Blind Mystic Baba Vanga’s and Nostradamus’ Predictions for 2020
Bulgarian born Baba Vanga has been dubbed the 'Nostradamus of the Balkans' for her predictions.
Despite dying 23 years ago, those with a keen interest in mysticism continue to revere Baba's work, which some claim looks forward to 5079 - the year she believed the universe will end.
Right before her death at the age of 85 she made a series of predictions for the year 2020.
The most startling revelation is that Vladamir Putin and Donald Trump's lives are in danger.

The Russian president could reach the end of his mortal coil thanks to an assassination attempt made from within the Kremlin.
Almost as dramatically, the US president will fall ill with a mysterious illness which will leave him deaf and with a brain tumour.
Those with long memories may remember Baba foretold that Putin and Trump's lives would be in danger last year, suggesting some kind of cosmic rollover.

Another recurrent theme in her predictions has been the destruction of Asia.
Baba foresaw that “a big wave will cover the shore and people will disappear underwater” in what some interpreted as the destruction of Thailand by a huge tsunami in 2004.
The outlook in 2020 is equally as bleak, with more tsunamis and earthquakes scheduled to hit the continent.
A meteorite is also predicted to fall on Russia.

Perhaps the most ominous prediction of the clairvoyant was that the European continent could reach "the end of its existence" at the hands of "Muslim extremists"
The Bulgarian suggested that extremists would "use an arsenal of chemical weapons against Europeans”.
Supporters of Baba are keen to emphasise how spot on she has been, with "85% accurate" a phrase that regularly crops up in fan forums.
According to baba-vanga.com, the figure is drawn from research conducted by Professor Georgi Lozanov - a former director of the Bulgarian Institute of Suggestology.
Others point to her past successes as proof that she had foresight beyond that of a typical human.

In 1989 she guessed that America would be hit by two 'steel birds' in a terror attack, in what was later interpreted as a reference to 9/11.
She said: "Horror, horror! The American brothers will fall after being attacked by the steel birds. The wolves will be howling in a bush, and innocent blood will be gushing."
Baba's big breakthrough had come a year earlier however, when she accurately predicted the sinking of Russian submarine the Kursk.
Before cancelling Christmas and ordering a nuclear bunker however, readers should know that some questions remain around Baba and her predictions - some of which have been proved to be way off the mark.

Her prophecy that Europe would cease to exist by 2016 was clearly wrong, unless seen through an incredibly generous Brexiteer lense.
Baba's suggestion that the 1994 FIFA World Cup final would be played between two teams beginning with the letter 'b' was equally wrong.
The nuclear war pencilled in for the years 2010 to 2014 also failed to materialise.
While Baba may have spoken or written down her predictions in Bulgarian, no credible version is available to view.
Regardless, her legacy could still be cemented if some of her more unlikely supposed predictions come to pass.
She foretold that in 2023 the Earth's orbit will change, in 2066 the US will unleash a climate change weapon on Muslim-controlled Rome and in 2304 humans will discover time travel.

Nostradamus Terrifying Predictions for 2021 - Brain Chips in Soldiers and Asteroid Hits Earth
The French astrologer has made some spookily accurate predictions - from the Second World War to JFK's assassination. Here's what his writings tell us about what 2021 has in store

He's the French astrologer and doctor who is said to have accurately foretold some of the most monumental events in the last few hundred years.
From the Great Fire of London to Adolf Hitler's rise to power and the horrors of the Second World War and fro the French Revolution to the creation of the atomic bomb, Nostradamus's predictions have been eerily accurate.
He is even said to have known John F Kennedy would be assassinated and the 9/11 terror attacks on the World Trade Centre in New York would happen.
And Nostradamus has some terrifying prophecies for 2021.
He predicts everything from a zombie apocalpyse to a comet hitting earth and even solar storms.
Here were look at his top six propechies for what the next 12 months could have in store.
1. Zombie Apocalypse

According to the 16th century astrologer a scientist from Russia will create a biological weapon that could be very bad news for humanity.
The weapon will create a virus that will turn people into zombies - and will eventually leave us extinct.
Here's what he said: "Few young people: half−dead to give a start. Dead through spite, he will cause the others to shine, And in an exalted place some great evils to occur
"Sad concepts will come to harm each one, Temporal dignified, the Mass to succeed. Fathers and mothers dead of infinite sorrows, Women in mourning, the pestilent she−monster: The Great One to be no more, all the world to end."
2. Biblical Famine
As if that wasn't enough Nostradamus also believes the earth will be hit with a famine of biblical proportions.
This another of his predictions about the end of the world, which starts with increased earthquakes and the spread of viruses - something we all know far too much about this year.
Another of the indicators, according to Nostradamus, is a massive famine, the size of which the world has never seen before.
He said: "After great trouble for humanity, a greater one is prepared, The Great Mover renews the ages: Rain, blood, milk, famine, steel, and plague, Is the heavens fire seen, a long spark running."
3. Solar Storms
Huge damage will be caused to our planet in 2021, claims Nostradamus, by huge solar storms.
Yearly horoscope claims he said: "We shall see the water rising and the earth falling under it."
As the devastation manifests itself across the globe the doctor says there will be mass migration and people living on earth will start to fight over the few remaining natural resources.
This will also lead to war across the planet.
4. Earth Will be Hit by an Asteroid
Not only will the world suffer the impact of a comet, Nostradamus also say this could also cause a huge number of natural disasters.
He wrote: "In the sky, one sees fire and a long trail of sparks."
And it seems even NASA is monitoring the skies for impact, especially as the asteroid, 2009 KF1, could possibly strike earth on May 6 next year.
5. Devastating Earthquake
After 2020 the last thing we need is another natural disaster - however, he predicts bad news if you live in California.
Nostradamus claims a huge earthquake will hit America and California is where those who interpret his work believe it will hit.
And he's even predicted the date - Novemver 25, 2021.
His passage reads: "“The sloping park, great calamity, Through the Lands of the West and Lombardy The fire in the ship, plague, and captivity; Mercury in Sagittarius, Saturn fading."
6. Soldiers Will Have Chips Implanted Into Their Brains
The rise of technology in the 21st century is something we're all getting used to with Artificial Intelligence in most of our homes and tiny computers in our pockets.
But according to Nostradamus, this will really be ramped up in 2021 with soldiers having chips implanted into their brains.
He wrote: "The newly made one will lead the army, Almost cut off up to near the bank: Help from the Milanais elite straining, The Duke deprived of his eyes in Milan in an iron cage."
These new super soldiers will apparently be needed to save the human race and will lead the armed forces.

A blind clairvoyant's predictions for 2021 have been revealed after she famously predicted 9/11 and Brexit despite dying years earlier.
Baba Vanga, real name Vangelia Gushterova, was nicknamed the 'Nostradamus of the Balkans' for her bizarre claims.
She lost her vision at the age of 12 and claimed that at the same time she became aware that she was given her a very rare gift from God to see into the future.
She predicted the universe will end in 5079 and has supposedly revealed incidents in the years in between.
She knew about the dissolution of the Soviet Union, the September 11, attack in 2001, the death of Princess Diana, and the Chernobyl disaster and was said to have got 85% of her predictions right.
Right before her death at the age of 85 in 1996, she said 2021 will be the year a cure for cancer is found.
Baba Vanga claimed: "At the beginning of the 21st century, humanity will get rid of cancer.
"The day will come when cancer will get tied with iron chains.”
But things don't look good for President Donald Trump as he leaves the White House, as Baba Vanga said he will apparently suffer from a "mysterious disease".
She claimed the 45th POTUS will become sick with a "mysterious disease that will leave him deaf, and cause brain trauma".
Her wild predictions also claim Europe's economy will fall, an assassination attempt will be carried out against Russian President Vladimir Putin by someone within his own country and Islamic extremists will stage an attack in Europe.
She is said to have claimed: “[The extremists] will use an arsenal of chemical weapons against Europeans."
Baba Vanga added: “The world will suffer from a lot of cataclysms and great disasters.
"The consciousness of people will change.
"Difficult times will come. People will be divided by their faith.”
"We are witnessing devastating events that will change the fate and destiny of humanity."
It seems the Bulgarian woman did have some fun things to tell us about though - she says as petrol production stops “trains will “fly” by using sunlight.
She added: "The petrol production will stop, and the Earth will rest”.
Her most bizarre prediction however is that in 2021 a dragon will take over the planet.
She is claimed to have said: "A strong dragon will seize humanity.
"The three giants will unite. Some people will have red money.
"I see the numbers 100, 5, and many zeros."
Her words it seems should not be taken too literally.
Interpreters presume that the “dragon” is China.
The three giants could be Russia, India, and China, and money could be the the 100 Yuan and the 5000 ruble notes which are both red in colour.
She also thinks that within the next 200 years we will have made contact with aliens.
She predicted: “Life in cosmos will be discovered, and suddenly it will be clear how life on Earth first appeared," adding "people will get in touch with their spiritual siblings from other worlds".
Only time will tell if Baba was correct.

It's finally time to bid farewell to 2021 - and it's not a year we're going to look back on fondly.
There have been more lockdowns, political unrest and serious concerns over the environment.
However, those hoping for a break might not be in luck as 2022 looks like it could be even worse.
There are a handful of terrifying predictions from French astrologer and doctor Nostradamus, including a war in France, inflation and even cannibalism.
Blind clairvoyant Baba Vanga envisaged natural disasters, a water crisis and an alien invasion by the end of next year - and some are even speculating there could be 'World War 3'.
Here is a look at some of the things we might need to be worried about in 2022.
New Pandemic
Covid
Covid figures are on the rise
The biggest concern about next year is definitely Covid and whether new deadly strains will form.
Paul Hunter, professor in medicine at the University of East Anglia told the Mirror "the virus is here to stay".
"Ultimately, we will see more waves of infection over time, but each wave will be less of a pressure on the health service," he explained.
Even if we do manage to get the infection rate down, some fear there could be a new virus wreaking havoc.
Baba Vanga, who has many predictions people believe continue to come true following her death in 1996, envisaged another pandemic.
This time it's predicted to be discovered in Siberia and caused by a frozen virus that will be released by climate change.
World War 3
There are serious concerns over a possible global war in the coming year - and one possible cause could be the ongoing tensions between China and Taiwan.
The incursions from nuclear-capable Chinese warplanes has ratcheted-up tensions over the tiny US-backed island.
Relations between the two nations are at their worst in 40 years, Taiwan's defence minister said at the end of last year.
Western allies of Taiwan have expressed their concern at China's open display of military might and it is widely feared any form of armed confrontation could quickly escalate into a global conflict.
Meanwhile, Russia has reportedly approved plans for "urgent mass graves" amid fears a war could break out after an invasion of Ukraine.
Russian outlet MK say that the burial sites were constructed as a priority after they allegedly appeared on leaked legal documents that are expected to come into force on February 1.
If that wasn’t bad enough, Nostradamus believed this would be a year involving war.
Nostradamus has some worrying 2022 predictions
Michel de Nostradame, as he was known at the time, published his infamous book Les Prophéties back in 1555 featuring 942 forecasts.
While it’s tricky to pin down exact dates with Nostradamus’ predictions, as they are based on astrological movements rather than the calendar, the prediction of war reaching Europe is one that can be narrowed down to perhaps being due in 2022.
A recurring theme throughout Nostadamus’ predictions is the invasion of France by a threat from the east.
However, the following prediction is speculated to be referring to the spring of 2022:
“Blue-head shall white-headharm in such degree,
As France’s good to both shall e’er amount.”
Much like all of Nostradamus’ predictions, this one is rather vague, but it could be alluding to the breakout of World War 3.
Extreme Climate Event
A Mega Tsunami Could Hit
It's definitely time to get concerned about our planet.
According to Baba Vanga, more earthquakes and tsunamis are on the cards as well as 'intense bouts of floods' in Australia and parts of Asia.
Meanwhile, many cities will be hit by water shortages with political consequences as countries are forced to find alternatives, according to her forecast.
She also predicted famine in India where temperatures will supposedly reach 50 degrees causing locusts to attack crops.
There's not much hope when turning to Nostradamus, as he predicted rising sea temperatures way back in 1555.
“Like the sun the head shall sear the shining sea:
The Black Sea’s living fish shall all but boil.
When Rhodes and Genoa
The local folk to cut them up shall toil.”
Blobal temperatures continue to climb - with sea levels rise and food chain complications already starting to become apparent.
Is 2022 going to be the year in which temperatures reach breaking point?
Inflation
If bills seem high this Christmas then brace yourselves - another big spike is coming in April 2022
A worldwide pandemic, political instability and political instability have all contributed to an inflation boom in recent years.
In 2022 we can expect to see tax hikes, energy bill increases and less money in our pockets.
Another warning Nostradamus issued is about the rising prices in a failing economy and even a hint of cannibalism.
Nostradamus stated:
“No abbots, monks, no novices to learn;
Honey shall cost far more than candle-wax”
“So high the price of wheat,
That man is stirred
His fellow man to eat in his despair”
That doesn't sound too appealing.
Alien invasion
Baba Vanga predicts an alien invasion in 2022
2022 could be the year where we are finally visited by extraterrestrials, but will they be friendly?
If books, films and TV shows are to be believed then we had better be prepared.
Most scenarios end up with humans having to fight off an attack from beings from another planet.
Baba Vanga believed that this will be the years aliens invade the planet by sending an asteroid to seek out life on Earth with an unfriendly outcome.
It sounds exactly like the plot of War of the Worlds, which is definitely not a good thing.
Let's hope this is one prediction she got very wrong.

Baba Vanga claimed she began having visions after she lost her sight aged 12
Baba Vanga's predictions for 2022 have had mixed results so far and her history of predictions is a similar story.
The 'Nostradamus of the Balkans' claimed she had a rare gift from God that helped her see into the future after losing her sight at the age of just 12.
Believing in her rare gift, she gained a huge following when she was alive and even Soviet leader Leonid Brezhnev is reported to have used her services.
In 1989, she allegedly said: "The American brethren will fall after being attacked by the steel birds. The wolves will be howling in a bush, and innocent blood will be gushing."
Those 'steel birds' are said to be the plane-turned-missiles used by the hijackers of Al-Qaeda on 9/11 in 2001.
Disasters seem to be the theme of many of her predictions and infamously, she foresaw a dreadful event in which the city of Kursk would be "covered with water and the whole world will weep over it". A total of 188 people died in August 2000 when a submarine sank near the Russian city.

Born Vangelia Pandeva Dimitrova, the Bulgarian clairvoyant also predicted that Europe would "cease to exist" by 2017. Europe currently appears to be pretty well-unified at the moment, though some put forward the theory Baba was talking about the Brexit vote from the year before.
Barack Obama can thank Baba for a prediction in which she said the 44th US president would be the first to be black, although she did say he would be the very last.
If her supposed mystic powers are anything to go by, the odd disaster here and there shouldn't come as much of a surprise and she has predicted ahead all the way to 5079.
For 2022, she predicted a range of terrifying events including deadly tsunamis, and another pandemic.
So far, no major Tsunamis have crashed onto the shores of a highly populated city and Monkeypox has so far failed to cause any real public problems.
One prediction does appear to have some weight to it and Baba reportedly predicted large cities would be struck by water shortages from droughts this year.
This week it was reported countries like Portugal and Italy were telling citizens to try and restrict their water usage. Italy is said to be going through its worst drought since the 1950s.
She died in 1996 after a battle with breast cancer, but her predictions were cast long into the future according to the claims of people close to her.
Other predictions for this year haven't really stood up, though. So far, there haven't been any opportunistic aliens arriving by asteroids or widespread famine and locusts attacking crops in India.

A book that claims to interpret the 'prophecies' of a 16th century French astrologer has shot to the top of the best selling charts after it seemingly predicts the Queens' death

A book based on the supposed prophecies of a French astrologer who died over 450 years ago has shot to the top of charts after seemingly predicting the Queens’ death.
Nostradamus was a French astrologer who lived from 1503 to 1566 but a book based off some of his work has sold nearly 8,000 copies in the week ending September 17.
Nostradamus’ most famous book, Les Prophéties , is made up of 942 poetic quatrains that allegedly predict real work events.
He is said to have made the prophecies whilst high on nutmeg, which causes hallucinations when taken in large doses, and then sees the visions in a basin of water before dictating them to his secretary.

The boom in sales catapulted has Nostradamus: The Complete Prophecies for the Future by Mario Reading to the top of paperback chart, reports the Sunday Times.
Published in 2006, Reading “interprets” the astrologist's writings and the book sold just five copies in the week before the Queens's death on September 8.
According to Reading’s interpretation of one quatrain, “Queen Elizabeth II will die, circa 2022, at the age of around 96”.
The book’s success is likely to have been driven by extracts that went viral on social media.
Some of Nostradamus’ supporters claim that he has predicted other events like the Great Fire of London, Napoleon’s rise, the Apollo moon landings and 9/11.
Reading, a scholar of mediaeval French history, sadly didn’t live to witness his recent success and died aged 63, back in 2017.

The Queen's death rocked the nation with around a quarter of a million people queuing for up to 24 hours to see her lying in state and her funeral took place in front of millions of viewers.

A psychic who claims he predicted the Notre-Dame fire as well as Harry and Meghan's explosive Oprah interview has more predictions for 2023 - including a malaria outbreak, a British cycling victory and celebrity heartbreak.
Nicolas Aujula, 37, a therapist and astrologer who lives in south London, claims he also forecast Donald Trump losing the US election and the Black Lives Matter global protests, which both occurred in 2020.
Nicolas first became aware of his psychic talents as a very young child when he caught a quick glimpse of his late father, and at age 17, he had an overwhelming experience where he claims he saw his past life. He said: "That's when I fell into a trance state.
"I remembered my past life - I was an Egyptian queen, a lion and a teacher and I was in the French Revolution. And I think that was a real turning point because that's when I left school and trained as a hypnotherapist in regression therapy."
Since then, he has had regular visions - some come to him through dreams and others strike when he is out and about.
He believes his gift has helped him to predict some of the most newsworthy events of recent times.
Nicolas explained how he feels when his visions come true, saying: "So for me, on the one hand, there's that element of comfort, knowing that we can see the future.
"But, on the other hand, we can't change it because no matter how much I tell people, people's behaviour doesn't change."
Nicolas has now shared his forecast for 2023, which involves celebrity heartache, more royal family turmoil and a British sporting triumph.
He predicts an increase in mass flooding, malaria and power outages on a global scale, and has had visions of a royal palace or presidential building on fire, which he thinks could be symbolic of people wanting a change in who is in power.
Nicholas thinks 2023 could be a poor year for the royal family.
"I think the royal family's income and popularity will go down," he said.
"So they may sell their properties, or they may turn something into a hotel, or they will have to diversify.
"I also think that King Charles will be having health issues. Maybe it has to do with his heart or with circulation."
In politics, Nicolas believes the cost of living crisis is set to continue for several years.
"I think the economic decline is going to be very long-term and could be something that lasts six or seven years.
"I think the worst will come at the end of the decade - we'll go into recession, and things will get better, then we'll have another.
"I think there'll be a double recession globally. As a result, we'll see many job losses and companies closing down.
"I feel that the Conservative Party will have another crisis in the summer, between June and August."
However things are looking up in the world of UK sport.
Nicolas predicts a win for a British cyclist in 2023, saying: "I see someone with a British flag on a bike that's broken some kind of record."
In celebrity news, he forecasts an all-male celebrity brawl at a film festival or award show, whether physical or verbal and heartbreak for Madonna and Beyonce.
It's good news for British cycling, according to Nicolas
He said: "2023 is going to be quite difficult for Madonna, she could have some form of sorrow… I feel like she's going to be having a tough year ahead of her.
"I feel like Beyonce is going through a bit of a change and a transition in her life and she could question her relationship."
Nicolas also thinks celebrities will be raising awareness about testicular cancer, or there will be a certain male celebrity that will encourage others to talk about the disease.
He said: "All I could see was The Full Monty.
"It sounds quite light hearted, but it was actually to raise awareness about testicular cancer."
The psychic has had many visions relating to nature, adding: "I've kept seeing images of all these men surfing, and a big tide comes in, and they're all washed away.
"It feels as if nature is somehow going to win or nature has the upper hand over us, and that we need to work with nature, not against it, because I just feel nature is going to put people in their place."
Nicolas explained that when he has a vision, particularly one that could be indicative of a newsworthy event, it is difficult to silence the logical side of his brain, which is battling to make sense of what he has seen.
He explained: "I can be sceptical. The vision comes from the intuitive part of the brain, and then the logical side of the brain questions and analyses.
"I think it's good to do that. It's good to be rational. It's good to be logical at times as well.
"So, if there are sceptical people out there, then good for them. We need a blend of intuitive, political and ethical sides."

Famous French prophet Michel de Nostradame, who is now better known as Nostradamus, made an array of chilling predictions in his book Les Propheties over 450 years ago - with a startling amount already coming true.
The book's contents made horrific predictions on the Second World War, Hitler's rise to power and the French Revolution with most being eerily accurate.
The French astrologer is even said to have known John F Kennedy would be assassinated and the 9/11 terror attacks on the World Trade Centre in New York would take place.
Although the predictions do not reference specific dates, there are a number of forecasts that could come true in 2023.

A self-proclaimed prophet who has been predicting the future for over 20 years has ominously said that 2023 will mark the "beginning of the end" with the return of the Antichrist.
Brazilian Athos Salomé, dubbed the 'Living Nostradamus', claims to have had a vision of this new year with the visit of the Enemy of the Messiah, whom he claims is not just one person as described in holy books, reported the Daily Star.
Recently, Athos claims to have predicted Covid, the Queen's death, Russia's invasion of Ukraine and even Elon Musk's takeover of Twitter, but he has been telling the future for more than 20 years.
In his worrying list of events set to unravel over the course of 2023, the 35-year-old predicts a crushing blow to cryptocurrency and a zombie virus emerging from Antarctica.

Terrifyingly, among his prophecies for next year is the possible return of one of the most feared characters in Christian history, called the Enemy of the Messiah, which symbolises the end of time.
Athos told the Daily Star: "Contrary to what everyone thinks, the Antichrist does not come from Europe and should manifest itself fully between the years 2023 and 2026, according to Kabbalah studies.
"Although the holy books consider the Antichrist a being, this does not mean that he will materialise in one person. In fact, the antichrist is already ready and moving."
The seer explains that this is not a prediction, but the concretisation of a world reality, linked to a new currency.
"Who knows, maybe it will emerge between Russia and China?," he adds. "But bringing down the dollar won't be easy."
Athos warned: "I wouldn't want to despair cryptocurrency investors, but a glitch or something systematic could happen and will cause thousands of investors to lose a lot.
"Whether they will continue or not is a matter of luck and power. But the world government will do everything to have ownership of them."

Bulgarias' very own Nostradamus may just have done it again after one of her prophecies for 2023 appears to have come true.
The blind clairvoyant came up with many predictions for the world before her death in 1996, many of which have already come true. The psychic has already correctly predicted the death of Princess Diana, fall of the Soviet Union and the Chernobyl tragedy.
Baba Vanga claimed her visions, which came about despite losing her eyesight as a child during a deadly storm which swept sand into her eyes, were 85% accurate. She's also prophesised 9/11 and the election of Barack Obama as the first Black US President.
And while many have never materialised - she once predicted that World War Three would start in 2010 - one of her estimations for 2023 may just have come true. One of her predictions for this year was a massive solar storm - described as a "solar tsunami" which would have catastrophic consequences for earth. According to Baba Vanga, the storm could cause the destruction of the planet's magnetic field and throw everyone back into the Dark Ages.
Although stopping short of such disastrous consequences, a solar storm did occur on December 1, reaching a level 'G2' on the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's (NOAA) five-point scale, The Express reports. This rating indicated the potential for disruptions to satellites in space and power grids, with the possibility of widespread voltage control problems. However, the aftermath of the event did not quite mirror Vanga's doomsday scenario.
Contrary to the psychic's predictions of global havoc and a retreat to the Dark Ages, the impact of the solar storm was relatively mild. Day and night continued as normal, and modern technology remained largely unaffected.
The solar storm did, however, offer a spectacular display of the Northern Lights, visible in southern regions of the UK like Cornwall. While Vanga's accuracy on the severity of the solar storm may be questioned, conspiracy theorists and followers of her prophecies anticipate her other predictions for 2023.
These include forecasts of terrorist attacks in Europe, a major economic crisis, biological attacks, and even an assassination attempt on Vladimir Putin.
As the world awaits the unfolding of the remaining weeks in 2023, the legacy of Baba Vanga persists, with her followers scrutinizing global events to determine the accuracy of her chilling predictions.
