VERY IMPORTANT Warning-SPAM By PM-Please Read

I have been informed by members, that some new members are spamming all the members on this site, asking them to join their sites. The latest is a member called Anim Gull, but there have been others in the past.

If you receive any similar pms please send me a visitors message, and post in this thread with the user name of the person doing this.

This is very damaging to any site and I would appreciate your help with this.

As this has happened before, I have no choice but to stop new members sending out pms until they have made at least 6 genuine posts. I am sorry if this inconveniences other members.

Thanks for the info Lady, I pm-ed a mod about anim gull and then saw he was banned as I was sending it...

Was needing to know the policy here on recruting as I remember in the old days it was not allowed at most sites...

Well as you know he blocked me from my own site (that one), when I found out he was stealing all the donations. He is not really interested in that site, nor its' members, that's what saddens me the most. He is only interested in one thing.
Im just surprised he still has members going on there, you would think by now they would have gotten sick of all the begging emails.

As to this latest spammer sending out pms to all my members, Ive just discovered that he, Anim Gull, is from the same site in Pakistan, FazyForum, that the last spammer I banned was from (Brian007), he had also spammed all my members and uploaders before a member advised me.

Both have really damaged my site, as many of my uploaders are now posting on there

I am trying to think of a way of getting my revenge...... maybe you or some of our members have some ideas.
One idea is for a group of us to join that site and pm all their members, we could work alphabetically,,, :rofl:,,,,now that has given me the first laugh in 2 days.

It just sickens me cos they have no need to spam little sites like mine, they are quite high on the Alexa rankings and Im not. :confused:

Just so you know...Those can get you in to a lot of trouble.

LBBs idea is a lot more realistic.

Good advice and I would never do a DDos attack, it can sometimes come back on you,,,with a vengeance.

& That guy was from the same site that did it to us before, when I just tried to register to get onto his site, it showed I was banned,,,, with the message

"We do not allow Spammers on this site"

What a cheek, I had never spammed them, quite the reverse.

I'd left a little finger shaker in his into thread. I too, recieved one of the spam pms from Anim Gull. Now I don't so much mind the forum spam found in offers but in the forum itself, spamming members is a bit much.

Any site that is a good site, the members are going to say something about it to the staff. If you got a good forum, the members are loyal.

The next thing is, any site that has to do spam for attracting members through pm, has some issues with trust. Those issues will be in full blossom at what ever site they are spamming for, just like Ladybbird getting banned as a spammer with out having made a post. So they think nothing of spamming someone else's place yet don't want the same in return. What's wrong with this picture?

Those same sites won't trust the members as they have a guilty conscience over the methods they have used. You can bet the pms will be monitored and read; just in case.
