DDos Attacks

A couple of weeks ago my anti-virus software reported there was a virus on the site. It was cleared but happened again & was reported days later by another ADMIN

I reported this to our server, who informed me it was NOT only this site that was affected, but many sites in many countries had been hit, some were even brought down.

The attacks has hit MANY SERVERS, includng OUR server. Ours have a great experienced HIGH TECH TEAM who were working on it and because they had known this site for 9 years
& is smaller than many, they took time to INSPECT ALL 1.5Mil FILES & posts on this site to ensure this site was SAFE & CLEAN... IT IS!

THEN the DDOS attacks continued.... So OUR incredible server took a FURTHER step of PROTECTION for this site by not only having... the "Checking your Browser", BUT ensured this site was completely protected, by installing a CAPTCHA requirement for EVERYONE, including myself, for some days..whilst they rechecked EVERY POST to confirm this site was SAFE & PROTECTED

The "Checking your Browser" and CAPTCHAs have now been removed and sorry for the inconvenience this has caused, but it was essential.....

I also apologise for the delay in reporting this, but for over 4 weeks I have been very sick with the COVID 19 virus..

I'm sorry you've been having these issues, but for myself I haven't noticed any problems. Hope you are regaining your strength and getting better.

Thank you Tarfoot, it will take some weeks to build up my immune system and strength again.

I am so relieved you and your family didnt catch it. It is a very nasty bug >part two of the coronavirus, and part three is projected...No meds helped but vitamin D DID HELP my lungs. I still have traces of pneumonia and pain in the left lung but it is improving..

Lack of sleep didnt help when I had to stay awake longer to work with our server to prevent those DDOS attacks hitting this site...
