Ex-Robots, a robotics firm based in the northeastern coastal city of Dalian, is trying to create lifelike droids that engineers hope will soon be used in the healthcare and education industries. On the floor of the Ex-Robots factory in China's northeastern coastal city of Dalian, engineers develop humanoid robots with a focus on representing enhanced facial expressions and emotions. The company said it takes from two weeks to a month to produce one, with prices up to 2 million yuan (US$280,000). Most of the company's robots so far are for display in museums, but Ex-Robots aims to integrate them into every industry. |
