The little ones were alone when a suspected short circuit caused the blaze. Victoria Sarai Torres Santiago, two, Josué Eliseo Torres Santiago, four, Yamilet Zamora Santiago, eight, and Josira Ariadne Zamora Santiago, 11 all died in the fire. Mum Sarai Santiago Garc*a, was on her way to pick up a pizza and dad Eliseo Torres Salce, who is a trucker, was out of town on an assignment. It is believed the children couldn’t escape the house because of furniture blocking their way. When neighbours saw smoke rising from the property, they called the emergency services. By the time mum, Sarai, rushed home after hearing about the fire her children were dead.
