Ghislaine Maxwell Does a Shawshank Redemption as She's Given Cushy New Job in Jail

Disgraced socialite Ghislaine Maxwell's 'life could not be more different' in prison as she has has been given a luxurious job there while she serves her 20-year sentence

Daily Mirror UK 1 SEP 2022

Ghislaine Maxwell has “done a Shawshank Redemption ” by being given a cushy job in her prison’s library helping inmates.

The disgraced British socialite is working in the legal department at low-security FCI Tallahassee in Florida – walking straight into the position to the fury of other lags.

When not socialising in her unit, the convicted teen sex trafficker can be found behind a desk handing out legal forms.

Maxwell, 60, has been given the privileged role by prison bosses, working weekdays in her outfit of matching khaki trousers and shirt.

A source said: “Many of the girls were p***** at how she swanned in and was given such a plum job.

“They joke she has done a Shawshank Redemption and landed on her feet with her library gig.

“There are girls inside who have washed thousands of floors, peeled thousands of vegetables, done all manner of things, including keeping their noses clean, hoping for such a gig. Yet Ghislaine is gifted it.”

The source added: “She is highly intelligent. The IQ of most of in there, you can imagine, is low, but all the girls know you have to earn the right for such a job.”

The Shawshank Redemption movie from 1994 has lead character Andy Dufresne, portrayed by Tim Robbins, as an inmate who runs a prison library after being sentenced for the murder of his wife.

Yet the position for Maxwell, the daughter of the late publisher Robert Maxwell, is still a most spectacular fall from grace.

She was once, not least with the help of her paedo ex Jeffrey Epstein, a central figure in the partying lives of billionaires, the bourgeoisie, princes, and presidents.

The prison insider added: “Ghislaine’s life could not be more different. Gone are Prada clothes and foie gras. Her posh accent stands out a mile while she is surrounded by killers, drug runners, fraudsters and other sex offenders. If only her pals could see her now.”

Maxwell, who allegedly introduced Prince Andrew to his sex accuser Virginia Giuffre, is not due for released before July 2037,

She is with the general prison population in Unit B South – a dormitory of 120 beds separated into cul-de-sacs of four bunks.

Maxwell can visit the store once a fortnight and spend a maximum of £306 at a time. Inmates can earn money through various jobs or people can top up their accounts.

Maxwell, while awaiting trial, made 100-plus complaints about harsh conditions at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Centre.

An insider said: “Tallahassee is nothing like that, it is a world away.”

Convicted Sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell Says She ‘feels So bad’ For 'Dear Friend' Prince Andrew in Bombshell Interview

Ghislaine Maxwell has opened up about her “dear friend” Prince Andrew during an explosive first interview from prison.

In a bombshell first interview from prison after being convicted for sex trafficking teenage girls, disgraced former socialite Ghislaine Maxwell has spoken about her “dear friend” Prince Andrew.

The right-hand woman and one-time girlfriend of convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein spoke to documentary filmmaker Daphne Barak as part of an upcoming CBS-Paramount Plus special.

“I feel so bad for him,” she said, Mail on Sunday reports.

The 60-year-old daughter of the late publishing tycoon Robert Maxwell was convicted of playing an instrumental role in the sexual abuse of multiple teenage girls between 1994 and 2004 in December and sentenced to 20 years in prison.

She appeared shaken when told that Prince Andrew - who she has known since her days as a student at Oxford University in the 1980s - claimed they were never close through his lawyers.

“I accept that this friendship could not survive my conviction” she replied sadly.

“I follow what is happening to him. He is paying such a price for the association. I consider him a dear friend. I care about him."

The two bombshell interviews took place face-to-face at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Centre in June and remotely from her current jail in Tallahassee, Florida.

Maxwell said she regrets her close association with the billionaire financier who was found dead in his cell while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges in 2019, because it turned her into a “wicked witch.”

“Meeting Epstein was the greatest mistake of my life,” she admitted.

“And obviously, if I could go back today, I would avoid meeting him, and I would make different choices.”

Prince Andrew served in the military as a helicopter pilot during the Falklands War but lost his military titles after outcry over his friendship with Jeffrey Epstein, and allegations he abused Virginia Roberts Giuffre, one of Epstein’s victims when she was 17.

He has repeatedly and vehemently denied the claims and settled out of court with Ms Giuffre, making no admission of guilt.

How Prince Andrew Fills His Days Since His Fall From Grace

New documentary reveals how Prince Andrew falls from grace on a royal and international scale

Prince Andrew: Banished Premiered Last Week on Pea****

BBC 22 OCT 2022

Prince Andrew's good days seem to be far away from him as a new explosive documentary takes aim at him.

Prince Andrew: Banished premiered last week on Pea****; its description on the platform calls the film "the story of how, through arrogance and lust, the Duke of York's scandals and his friendship with sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein nearly sank the British monarchy."

According to reports, The documentary achieves a no-holds-barred, highly critical deep-dive into a man whose nicknames ranged from “The Playboy Prince” to “Air Miles Andy.”

Interviewees included everyone from palace guards and journalists to socialites and royal secretaries, with almost no one having a positive thing to say about teh disgraced prince.

People, who interviewed for the documentary, expressed disbelief at how he had conducted himself, in a manner wholly removed from that of the rest of his family, even before news broke of his association with Epstein and accusations of abuse by Virginia Roberts Giuffre.

“Prince Andrew was one of the lads,” Ingrid Seward, editor-in-chief of Majesty Magazine, as per Independent, says in the film. "He was very mischievous. And of course, Prince Phillip loved this boy who was everything that perhaps Charles hadn’t been. So he had even more attention lavished on him."

Ghislaine Maxwell Spotted Jogging in Sunshine Behind Jails' Barbed Wire

Ghislaine Maxwell pounds out the miles in Tallahassee, Florida, US

https://i2-prod.mirror.co.uk/incomin...a-decade-a.jpg

Running in the Florida sun under which she once enticed and groomed minor girls for abuse, Ghislaine Maxwell jogs along her prison's track.

Ghislaine Maxwell's early morning runs are part of the monotonous and controlled regime she lives now under

Dressed in a standard-issue grey T-shirt, matching sweat shorts and trainers, the convicted teen sex trafficker pounds out the miles, locked up and locked alone in her thoughts.

Only the presence of uniformed warders and roll upon roll of razor-sharp barbered wire provides a reminder that the women dressed in similar attire are actual prisoners.

Prince Andrew's pal Maxwell - pictured outside for the first time in almost a decade - was captured behind Federal Correction Institute Tallahassee's fences, where she is set to spend the next 20 years of her life.

Her early morning runs are part of the monotonous and controlled regime she lives now under.

The four-lane prison track is a world away from New York's Fifth Avenue sidewalks, where she once shopped, partied and dined with her aristocratic friends.

The convicted teen sex trafficker pounds out the miles, locked up and locked alone in her thoughts

Despite her age, the 60-year-old is known among inmates to be a fitness fanatic, sometimes beating other, much younger women in a race.

"Ghislaine is incredibly fit," said a prison source.

"She runs almost every day, and when not jogging on the track, she will walk with one of her friends.

"For her age, she is incredibly active and does a 40 minutes session completing lap after lap without stopping before she needs to be back inside.

The disgraced daughter of crooked media tycoon Robert Maxwell was captured over several days, exercising inside the prison fences

"She is happy to be allowed out in the open once again, where she has at least some semblance of freedom.

"When not working in the law library, she stays outside in the sun for hours.

"She is very, very sociable."

As the Mirror's exclusive pictures and videos show, Maxwell maintains her fitness with a daily routine.

We watched as she pounded out of the 400m asphalt track inside the low-security prison and chatted animatedly with a friend while laughing hysterically.

The disgraced British socialite regularly completes eight laps while walking the course with her much younger pal on other days.

FCI Tallahassee is only a few hours from the Palm Beach mansion of paedophile Jeffrey Epstein, where she enticed and groomed minor girls to be abused at his hands.

Maxwell was sentenced in June after being found guilty of recruiting his victims and trafficking underage girls for him to sexual abuse.

The billionaire Wall Street financier and convicted sex offender killed himself in a Manhattan jail cell in 2019.

Epstein had been awaiting his own sex trafficking trial.

Following her sentencing in June and after more than 500 days of being confined inside New York's tough Metropolitan Detention Centre (MDC), Maxwell, by her own admission, is enjoying her new home.

"I saw the sunlight for the first time, and I saw grass for the first time. So that was lovely," she said shortly after her arrival.

"And the food is actually better here by a large margin."

Maxwell is in FCI Tallahassee as her offences are too severe for her to be placed in an open prison – the usual destination for white-collar criminals. But her prison is hardly the Gulag.

It has a running track, a softball pitch, a basketball court, and manicured gardens.

It is where, according to America's Bureau of Prisons, inmate 02879-509 as Maxwell is known in the system, will be held until May 17, 2037.

It is a far cry from the MDC, in which Maxwell complained more than 100 times about her treatment.

At one point, her family even petitioned the United Nations, highlighting conditions, including her being deprived of sleep by guards at the jail.

Her prison has a running track, a softball pitch, a basketball court, and manicured gardens

"She is awakened constantly at night and has been subjected, for the 500+ days of her detention, to a 'suicide watch' – completely inappropriate in the case of a non-suicidal person – involving a flashlight shone every 15 minutes on her face to check that she is breathing, literally preventing her from sleeping," the petition stated.

Maxwell was also repeatedly searched throughout the day and claimed she was inappropriately sexually touched by guards on numerous occasions during the searches.

At one point, her lawyers claimed another inmate placed a $1 million bounty on her head.

But now firmly settled into Tallahassee, Maxwell has spoken about how much better her treatment has been - a move that earned her night in Special Housing Unit (SHU) as punishment.

"Everybody here so far has been extremely professional, and I have not experienced any of the gross violations of my rights that I experienced at MDC," she said in a recent interview.

"I don't feel unsafe. And I am perfectly able to live and work here."

However, the Mirror reveals that Maxwell was taken out of the general population last week and put in the SHU.

It came after she was reprimanded for her involvement with the press while inside.

A typical day for Maxwell starts before sunlight.

Before heading to her job in the prison's law library where she works Monday to Thursday, she is served her breakfast between 5.30 and 6.30am.

She and inmates from her "B South unit" dormitory are called to the prison canteen to pick up their food served on a throwaway styrofoam tray.

Typically, it will consist of a muffin, cereal, oatmeal, fruit, and milk.

By 7.30am, she has to have her bed made and be "inspection ready" dressed in her work uniform - a button-up shirt and matching khaki trousers.

Outside such hours and on the weekend, Maxwell is allowed to wear her own clothes, known as "grades".

The 60-year-old is known among inmates to be a fitness fanatic

Once two officers complete a head count of the dorm, it is off to work for the disgraced socialite before returning to her dormitory.

https://i2-prod.mirror.co.uk/incomin...a-decade-a.jpg

Maxwell has her lunch served between 11am and 11.30am and dinner between 4.30pm and 5pm.

On the weekend, she is served roast beef, mashed potatoes, and mixed vegetables for her evening meal.

Once finished, she returns to her dorm, where she chats for hours with her new pal, Narcy Novack.

As the Mirror revealed, the 65-year-old is serving life after masterminding the brutal death of her millionaire hotel-heir husband, Ben Novack Jr and his mother.

The former stripper had them assassinated as she feared her husband, 52, was set to leave her for a porn star and needed both him and his mother, Bernice, 87, dead to inherit his fortune.

Maxwell has launched an appeal against her sentence, but if unsuccessful, plans are already afoot to have an application lodged to serve her time in Britain.

"Calculations have been carried out as to where Ghislaine would serve the least time behind bars," a source told the Mirror.

"She is happy to be freed on licence just to get out of prison, and her best option for getting out quicker is back in the UK."

With good behaviour, Maxwell could see almost three years taken off her sentence in the US.

But after three years in the States, she is entitled to apply to serve the remainder of her sentence in the UK.

If successful, it would mean if Maxwell were to transfer to a British prison, she would have only 91 months - seven years and seven months left - before she is eligible to be released on licence.

She would be 70 by the time she would be freed, not 75 as her US prison record shows.

Jeffrey Epstein Victims Sue Several Major Banks

Two women who accused Jeffrey Epstein of sexual abuse have filed lawsuits against JP Morgan Chase and Deutsche Bank.

Prince Andrew: The Musical Reveals Cast

BBC News 27 NOV

https://ichef.bbci.co.uk/news/976/cp...55775058-1.jpg

They accuse the banks of ignoring "red flags" about their client and benefiting from the late financier's alleged sex-trafficking operations.

The disgraced financier took his own life in a prison cell while awaiting trial on sex-trafficking charges.

Both lawsuits were filed in New York on Thursday as class action cases.

They were brought by lawyers who have represented dozens of the deceased billionaire's accusers.

The women, who are also seeking financial damages, are not named in the filings, which were first reported by the Wall Street Journal newspaper and have been seen by the BBC.

According to claims in the lawsuit filed against JP Morgan Chase, one woman, described as a former ballet dancer, was abused by Epstein and his associates between 2006 and 2013.

It alleges that JP Morgan knew that its accounts were being used for trafficking because of the identity of the individuals withdrawing large sums of cash, as well as "Epstein's well-documented criminal history".

JP Morgan Chase declined to comment when contacted by BBC News.

In a separate lawsuit against Deutsche Bank, another woman claims she was trafficked for sex by Epstein for 15 years, starting in 2003 when she first moved to New York.

It claims that in some instances Epstein would pay the woman directly in cash for sex acts.

The lawsuit suggests that the wealthy Epstein turned to Deutsche Bank when ties were severed with JP Morgan around 2013.

It also refers to previous findings by New York banking regulators about Deutsche Bank's business with Epstein.

They concluded that "although the bank properly classified Epstein as high-risk, [it] failed to scrutinise the activity in the accounts for the kinds of activity that were obviously implicated by Epstein's past".

Deutsche Bank previously admitted that it made a "critical mistake" when taking on Epstein as a client.

But a spokesman for the investment bank said on Thursday: "We believe this claim lacks merit and will present our arguments in court."

One of the lawyers, Bradley Edwards, said in a written statement: "Epstein and his co-conspirators could not have victimised without assistance from wealthy individuals and financial institutions. We will not stop fighting for the survivors until everyone is held responsible. This is a big step but not the end.

He added: "The time has come for the real enablers to be held responsible, especially his wealthy friends and the financial institutions that played an integral role."

Ghislaine Maxwell's EX Husband Finds New Girlfriend as Shamed Wife Spends Christmas in Jail

Scott Borgerson takes a morning walk with his daughter and girlfriend Kris McGinn

As Ghislaine Maxwell spends her third miserable Christmas in jail, this image of her husband with his new girlfriend will be a bitter reminder of the life she once had.

As he rebuilds his life without his sex trafficker wife, Scott Borgerson, 47, is dating Kris McGinn, a 50-year-old journalist from Manchester-by-the-Sea, Massachusetts, where he still lives in the £5.8million seafront mansion he once shared with Maxwell.

Mr Borgerson wed British socialite Maxwell in 2016, but ended the relationship with a phone call while she was in a New York jail awaiting trial.

And this week he showed just how much he has moved on as he and Ms McGinn went Christmas shopping on a wintery day in Massachusetts.
Ghislaine Maxwell's appeal in is jeopardy as her estranged husband refused to pay her legal bill

In June, Maxwell was jailed for 20 years for trafficking girls for paedophile Jeffrey Epstein. She will spend her 61st birthday on Christmas Day on her bunk in a dormitory at Florida’s Tallahassee prison, while Mr Borgerson will most likely be with Ms McGinn.

The yoga-loving mum of two rents a modest home in Manchester-by-the-Sea, where she is a journalist at the 134-year-old local newspaper, The Manchester Cricket, covering food and culture for the area’s posh residents.

She worked under the byline Kris McGinn Straub until June 2020, when she dropped her married name.

It is unclear how she met Mr Borgerson, who has two children by his first wife Rebecca, although locals suggest it was over their shared love of dogs.

One said: “Those two are like chalk and cheese in terms of their visibility in the town. Whereas we see Kris daily pottering around, Scott is like a ghost.

“He is seldom seen and only ventures out on rare occasions.”

“What is good though is that Rebecca has been fantastic. She is accepting of Kris and has seen her several times. It must be a relief that the new woman in his life is so wholesome given Maxwell’s convictions.”

https://i2-prod.mirror.co.uk/incomin...-at-122834.jpg

Ghislaine Maxwell briefly lived at the Phippen-Smith home with Scott Borgerson

Ms McGinn is a frequent visitor to Mr Borgerson’s seven-bedroom colonial style home and is seen driving around town in a £48,000 Chevrolet Tahoe she acquired soon after they began dating.

The SUV is registered in neighbouring New Hampshire, where Mr Borgerson and Maxwell owned a home in Bradford.

It was there that Maxwell was finally arrested by the FBI in July 2020, charged with recruiting and trafficking underage girls for her one-time lover Epstein to sexually abuse.

The billionaire Wall Street financier and convicted sex offender killed himself in a Manhattan jail cell in 2019 as he awaited his own sex trafficking trial.

Mr Borgerson met Maxwell nine years ago, around the time they were both pictured speaking at the Arctic Circle Assembly in Reykjavik, Iceland, in 2013. He was still married to Rebecca, 47, a devout Christian.

She discovered her husband was having an affair when he told her he was going to give a speech in London, but she found he was actually in Miami with Maxwell.

Ghislaine Maxwell was sentenced to 20 years in prison

Their divorce was finalised in December 2015, leaving him free to wed Maxwell the following year as she sold her New York townhouse for £13.2million. The marriage was so secret even Maxwell’s own family did not know about it.

An insider said: “Despite Ghislaine being 14 years older, Scott thought he’d found his soulmate.

“What has transpired though, has been a nightmare that has turned Scott’s life completely upside down.

“But as he continues to fight the legacy left by Ghislaine, Kris has helped put a smile back on his face.”

Court documents show that Maxwell transferred £15million to a trust controlled by Mr Borgerson.

https://i2-prod.mirror.co.uk/incomin...-at-142007.jpg

This is the Federal Correctional Institution Tallahassee - where Maxwell is in prison

Last month, it was reported that Maxwell’s appeal against her 20-year jail sentence lay in doubt as Mr Borgerson was in a dispute with her lawyers. Her defence team claimed they were owed for a £700,000 bill and needed £820,000 to lodge an appeal.

Haddon, Morgan and Foreman had filed a lawsuit against Maxwell, her brother Kevin and Mr Borgerson in August, trying to recoup the unpaid legal fees. Mr Borgerson was later dismissed from the suit.

Until the money is transferred, Maxwell’s lawyers are unlikely to meet a January deadline for the appeal, leaving Maxwell to face the prospect that she might die in jail.

Mr Borgerson purchased the Manchester-by-the-Sea home using money from Maxwell, according to the complaint from her law firm. Earlier this month, it emerged that under an agreement “accidentally” included in the filings of Maxwell’s legal team, Mr Borgerson would have to use money from the sale of the Manchester-by-the-Sea house to help cover her legal fees if the cash could not be collected from Maxwell or her brother, Kevin.

We can reveal a second home Mr Borgerson owned in a trendy Boston neighbourhood sold in May for £1.8million.

On Thursday night, Mr Borgerson was unavailable for comment.

Sex Trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell Takes Exam For 99p an Hour Prison Call Centre Job

Ghislaine Maxwell, pictured in Los Angeles before her arrest, will be tested to see if she has the skills needed for the prison job (

Oxford-educated Ghislaine Maxwell will have a literacy test to see if she has the skills to work in a US prison call centre.

If the disgraced British socialite passes she will earn 99p an hour selling cut-price internet, TV and phone bundles for a telecommunications giant.

Maxwell, 61, is serving a 20-year sentence for sex trafficking.

The company outsources some of its call centre work to Florida’s FCI Tallahassee female prison, where she is held.

She will be paid three times more than her current role in the jail law library but she will need a lot of hours to pay off the £644,000 fine imposed by her trial judge.

A prison insider said: “Many of the girls work in the call centre. Customers would never know they are talking to a drug dealer, armed robber, killer or in *Ghislaine’s case, a sex trafficker.

“The girls have been joking if she does move jobs, callers will think they’ve called Buckingham Palace with her posh accent.

“Being on the phones allows the girls contact with the outside world. Some find it a lifeline.”

Maxwell was convicted in December 2021 of sex-trafficking minors, conspiracy to entice a minor to travel to engage in illegal sex acts, and conspiracy to transport a minor with the intent to engage in criminal sexual activity for her former boyfriend, financier Jeffrey Epstein.

She was also found guilty of transporting a minor with the intent to engage in criminal sexual activity and conspiracy to sex-traffic minors.

She was sentenced last June and moved to Tallahassee.

Her new prospective role is a far cry from the career she once knew.

Her dad, crooked tycoon Robert Maxwell, made her a director at Oxford United, the *football club he owned. He also set her up with a company supplying corporate gifts.

She founded a private members’ club for women and was a director at Jemma Kidd’s make-up company, had her own consulting *business and a charity called Terramar.

During her trial, it emerged that from 1994 to 2007, Maxwell received almost £26million from Epstein, who later committed suicide in prison.

It was also found she had transferred big sums to husband Scott Borgerson, 44, from whom she is now estranged.

Ghislaine Maxwell Claims Infamous Prince Andrew Photo is FAKE and Has No Memory' of It

The convicted sex offender claims that the infamous photo of Prince Andrew with his arm around
Virginia Roberts - in which Maxwell can be seen grinning in the background - is not real

BBC 23 JAN 2023

https://i2-prod.mirror.co.uk/incomin..._GHISLAINE.jpg

Ghislaine Maxwell has claimed that the infamous photo of Prince Andrew with his arm around sex accuser Virginia Roberts was faked and says she can’t remember the pair ever meeting.

The 61-year-old convicted sex offender and former socialite is currently serving a 20 year sentence at a Florida jail for luring young girls to massage rooms for the disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein between 1994 and 2004.

Prince Andrew has long been connected to both Maxwell and the late Epstein - who was found dead in a prison cell in August 2019 aged 66.

Ms Giuffre brought a civil case alleging Prince Andrew had forced her to have sex with him on three occasions - at Ghislaine Maxwell's London home, at Jeffrey Epstein's Manhattan townhouse and in the Virgin Islands - in 2001 when she was 17 years old.

Prince Andrew denies the allegations and later agreed to an out of court settlement with his accuser. The settlement is not an admission of guilt and the Duke of York continues to deny any wrongdoing.

The Duke of York was famously photographed with his hand around the waist of then-teenager Virginia Guiffre at Maxwell's London home.

Despite Maxwell being clearly visible in the photo as she stood grinning in the background, the disgraced former socialite has told Jeremy Kyle in his TalkTV show that she believes the image is fake.

Controversial talk show host Kyle, 57, has interviewed Maxwell for a special episode of his series, due to air on Monday night and billed as
‘Ghislaine Behind Bars’.

Viewers will see Maxwell argue: “I have no memory of them meeting. And I don’t think that picture is real.

“There is no original of that photo, (just) copies of copies and parts of it, according to some experts, look like it has been photoshopped. I don’t remember her in my home.”

She adds: “I know that Virginia travelled with Jeffrey, and so it’s entirely possible.

“It wasn’t something so outrageously out of left field that it couldn’t have happened.

“But the photo doesn’t appear to be real. And I don’t recall it being taken. I have no memory of Virginia and Prince Andrew meeting.”

The upcoming interview looks set to draw the crimes of Epstein and the accusations against Prince Andrew back into the spotlight.

Explaining his reasoning for interviewing Maxwell from FCI Tallahassee prison in Florida, Kyle said: “Ghislaine Maxwell will be speaking for the first time from inside prison. She’s the most notorious female inmate on the planet.

“But since being jailed for sex trafficking, Ghislaine Maxwell has kept her silence, until now.”

He added: “She lifts the lid on Epstein, Prince Andrew and even our late Queen. This is Ghislaine Maxwell behind bars and in her own words.”

The announcement about the special episode - which is scheduled to air on TalkTV on Monday night - has divided TV fans.

Many have taken to social media to slam the planned episode, with one asking: “Why are you giving her airtime?”

Ghislaine Maxwells’ Blistering Attack on Prince Andrews’ Sex Abuse Accuser

Ghislaine Maxwell has claimed Prince Andrew’s sex abuse accuser Virginia Giuffre has a 'faulty memory' and questions how 'anyone can rely on what she says'

BBC 25 JAN 2023

https://i2-prod.mirror.co.uk/incomin...ber-8-2022.jpg

Ghislaine Maxwell launched a full frontal attack on Prince Andrew’s sex abuse accuser Virginia Giuffre's refuting her account of events.

The Brit said Giuffre's memory is "faulty" and "should be questioned,” adding “the way it has been described would have been impossible”.

Maxwell told TalkTV she “hadn’t any memory of going to Tramp,” the London nightclub Giuffre famously claims she went to with the duke in 2001 before she claims they had sex.

She added she wouldn’t have gone “certainly not in the outfit I would have worn”.

Maxwell then said: "Her (Giuffre) stories have changed so many times about what happens, when it happens, how it happens with different versions and each time she speaks it's a different version.

“In fact, if you look at her BBC interview on Panorama, I believe she says he (Andrew) puked on her face. That’s the only time she has ever said that.”

Maxwell continued her blistering attack moving on to Giuffre’s credibility.

She added: “I read her deposition, and in her deposition, her statements are very categorical, and her stories are very detailed and elaborate, but if her memory is so poor, how can you rely on anything she says?

Ghislaine Maxwell claims she has 'no memory' of meeting Prince Andrew accuser

“I don’t know on which is that her memory is so bad that you can’t really credit anything she says or it's more disingenuous than that. I can’t tell you which it is only she knows definitively the answer to that.

“I think once you retract on two men you make claims against on the grounds that your memory is faulty. Like I said, I think you have to question everything she says.”

Ms Giuffre, 38, recently withdrew a sex abuse allegation against US lawyer Alan Dershowtiz and admitted she “may have made a mistake”.

Maxwell blasted Giuffre in the TALKTV interview

In November, Giuffre was forced into a humiliating climbdown after she sued Epstein’s famed US lawyer, professor Alan Dershowitz, for defamation.

The lawsuit came after the attorney, like Andrew had, vehemently denied her allegations.

For years, Giuffre had publicly maintained that he had sexually assaulted her when she was a teenager and that he had sex with her when she was underage.

Maxwell said Prince Andrew is paying a 'high price' for being associated with her

In a joint statement announcing a settlement, Giuffre said, “I have long believed that I was trafficked by Jeffrey Epstein to Alan Dershowitz.

"However, I was very young at the time, it was a very stressful and traumatic environment, and Mr Dershowitz has, from the beginning, consistently denied these allegations.

“I now recognise I may have made a mistake in identifying Mr Dershowitz,” her statement said.

Meanwhile, Maxwell has claimed Epstein devastated her life and hurt many people she loves.

Speaking from her prison cell in America, the convicted sex trafficker, 61, refused to describe herself as a victim but declared she wishes she had never met her ex-boyfriend.

She also told Jeremy Kyle how she believes Epstein was murdered in prison. The sex offender was found in his jail cell on August 10, 2019. The medical examiner ruled that his death was a suicide by hanging.

Maxwell was arrested in 2020 on five charges that she conspired with Epstein to sexually abuse minors. In 2020, Maxwell was found guilty of five out of the six charges in her trial, including sex trafficking a minor.

In June 2022, she was sentenced in a New York court to 20 years imprisonment.

When quizzed by Kyle about if she considers herself a victim of Epstein too, she said: "Well, I don't actually love the use of the word 'victim’ per se because I think it's used a lot and bandied about a lot.

"But clearly my association by the fact that I worked for him and spent time with him and knew him has devastated my life and hurt many people that I love and hold dear around me."

Maxwell says Epstein devastated her life

Kyle continued to ask the former socialite if she thinks her friends would accept her if she won her appeal.

"Well, I can't know what my friends will do and won't do. My focus won't be on that," Maxwell told the TV presenter from prison.

"I will always turn to what I have now decided that will form the rest of my life, which is helping other people who have been or are incarcerated."

Elsewhere during her interview with Kyle - which TalkTV say she was not paid for - Maxwell refused to apologise to Epstein's victims and women who feel betrayed by her.

When given the opportunity by Kyle to apologise, she said: "I say Epstein has died and they should take their disappointment and upset out on the authorities that allowed that to happen.

"And, as I said, I hope that they have some closure via the judicial process that took place.

"And I wish them, er.....time is ticking on and to be able to have a productive and good life going forward. And that's what I hope for them."

Maxwell's comments come as it's reported Prince Andrew has amassed a £10million 'war chest' to launch a legal case against Virginia Giuffre.

Ms Giuffre brought a civil case alleging Andrew had sex with her on three occasions in 2001 when she was 17 years old.

Andrew has always denied all allegations and settled a US civil sex abuse case with Ms Giuffre outside of court for a reported £12million. The settlement is not an admission of guilt by Andrew, who continues to deny any wrongdoing.

But now it has been reported that he is seeking to clear his name after previously being “pressured” into settling the case to avoid overshadowing the Platinum Jubilee.

Elsewhere during her TalkTV interview on Monday night, Maxwell shared her belief Epstein did not take his own life in 2019, but was instead murdered.

"I believe that he was murdered," Maxwell told Kyle during their pre-recorded interview which aired on Monday night.

"I was shocked. Then I wondered how it had happened? Because as far as I was concerned, he was going to, I was sure he was going to appeal. And I was sure he was covered under the non-prosecution agreement.

"But I wasn't in the indictment. I wasn’t mentioned. I wasn't even one of the co-conspirators."

Epstein was found unresponsive in his Metropolitan Correctional Center, New York, jail cell on August 10 2019. He was later pronounced dead at the New York Downtown Hospital.

The New York City medical examiner ruled that Epstein's death was a suicide by hanging.

Jeffrey Epstein Banks to Face Sex Trafficking Cases

Two banks connected with the late Jeffrey Epstein will face lawsuits over claims they enabled his sex trafficking, a US court has ruled.

Epstein, who had been convicted in 2008 for soliciting prostitution from a minor, had socialised with Prince Andrew, former presidents Donald Trump and Bill Clinton

BBC 22 MAR 2023

https://ichef.bbci.co.uk/news/976/cp...55775058-1.jpg

Two women who say the financier sexually abused them brought the case against JP Morgan Chase and Deutsche Bank.

Judge Jed Rakoff also gave the go-ahead to a case against JP Morgan from the US Virgin Islands.

The banks deny being aware of Epstein's abuses.

In a four-page order Judge Rakoff wrote that the women and Virgin Islands government could try to make the case the banks had "knowingly benefited from participating in a sex trafficking venture".

He also allowed the women to pursue claims the banks were negligent and obstructed enforcement of a federal anti-trafficking law.

He dismissed some of the other claims.

The decision means the banks could be financially liable for their relationships with the American financier if the claims are proven in court.

Epstein, who died in prison in 2019 while awaiting trial on charges of sex trafficking, was a client of JPMorgan from 2000 to 2013, and of Deutsche Bank from 2013 to 2018.

---Jeffrey Epstein victims sue several major banks

JP Morgan and Deutsche Bank, which had both sought to have the lawsuits dismissed, declined to comment on the recent ruling to Reuters.

The move comes after JP Morgan filed a lawsuit against Jess Staley, who handled Epstein's business as a senior executive at the bank, accusing him of failing to disclose potentially damaging information about his client.

Mr Staley went on to serve as chief executive of Barclays after leaving JP Morgan. He stepped down in 2021 after an investigation into his ties to Epstein.

At the time he said he would contest the findings.

Prosecutors in 2019 accused him of running a "vast network" of underage girls for sex.

King Charles and Prince Andrews' Relationship Hits All-Time Low After Fury Over £30m Home

In the run up to King Charles' upcoming coronation, his relationship with Prince Andrew has reportedly hit an all-time low amid a row over the £30million Windsor Lodge

King Charles and Prince Andrew’s relationship has reportedly hit an all-time low after a furious row over a £30 million home.

The Royal Lodge in Windsor, the £30 million home at the heart of the brother's fallout

In the run-up to Charles’ coronation on May 6, Charles has found himself with yet another headache resulting from a member of his family. He has ended up with his younger brother allegedly kicking up a fuss.

This royal row is centred over the £30 million Royal Lodge home in Windsor.

As a part of Charles’ efforts to slimline the monarchy and reduce costs, he has rejigged some of the living conditions for some senior royals.

https://i2-prod.mirror.co.uk/incomin...1-Mar-2023.jpg

He has kicked Harry and Meghan out of Frogmore Cottage, and tried to move the disgraced Prince Andrew into it.

But Andrew has reportedly refused to bow to efforts to move him out of his current residence - the Royal Lodge.

This has led to a souring of relations between the brothers, reports claim, and is despite the fact that Charles has handed him the keys to Frogmore in an effort to get him to move.

Page Six first reported on the 63-year-old’s obstinance, as he refuses to leave the home he has lived in since 2003.

A royal source told the outlet that Andrew was clinging onto the lodge in an effort to remain being seen as a senior royal.

They said: “Andrew doesn’t want to leave because the property is seen as a symbol of senior royalty — an important property in the family’s portfolio.

Andrew hasn't played a role in the royal family since he paid a reported £12million to Virginia Giuffre to dodge going to court over sex abuse claims - something he denies.

He increasingly came under fire for his defence of his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein, including when Andrew claimed that his only fault in the issue was that he was 'too honourable'.

Prince William, the future king, Kate Middleton and their family only moved to Adelaide Cottage, not far from Andrew, a year ago.

But the four-bed home is already feeling small for the royals, reports claim, affected by William needing more office space with his growing role.

But all the wrangling over spacious homes, as the country struggles through a cost of living crisis, has said to have “infuriated” the king in the run up to his coronation.

“Relations between the king and his brother have never been this bad. It has turned into a real battle which he never expected and it’s left him tired and infuriated.” A source told the outlet.

This all comes in the runup to Charles’ coronation, which still faces a number of issues as organisers face a “race against time” to finalise details of the King and Queen’s historic crowning at Westminster Abbey.

A catalogue of major issues have emerged at the heart of planning for the May 6 event, with insiders revealing that rehearsals ran over by an hour, wrecking Charles’s plans for a "slimmed down" service.

Jeffrey Epsteins' Paedophile Islands SOLD For Less Than Half The Asking Price

Epsteins' Private Islands Put Up For Sale For $125m -Two Private Islands Sell For $60m

BBC News 5 MAY 2023

Two private Caribbean islands owned by Jeffrey Epstein have been sold to a billionaire investor for less than half the original asking price.

Stephen Deckoff, the founder of Black Diamond Capital Management, said in a statement he had purchased Great Saint James and Little Saint James for $60m, more than a year after they went on the market for $125m.

Proceeds from the sale will go towards a $105m settlement reached by Epstein’s estate with the US Virgin Islands government in November last year, Mr Deckoff said.

Epstein, who died in 2019 while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges, used his private island in the archipelago to host powerful guests and traffic young girls to for decades.

Locals had nicknamed Little Saint James as “Paedophile Island”. The 71-acre secluded island is about a mile from St Thomas and has several luxury dwellings, three beaches, a gas station and a helipad.

Epstein purchased the island for $7.95m in 1998.

Nearby Great Saint James is more than twice the size and is undeveloped. Epstein purchased the island for $18m in 2016.

Mr Deckoff, a longtime US Virgin Islands resident, said he planned to open a luxury 25-room resort on one of the islands in 2025 that would boost tourism and economic development.

“I’ve been proud to call the U.S. Virgin Islands home for more than a decade and am tremendously pleased to be able to bring the area a world-class destination befitting its natural grace and beauty,” Mr Deckoff said.

Jeffery Epstein’s estate on Little Saint James Island in the US Virgin

Epstein’s estate was valued at $600m at the time of his death, due to his vast property holdings in New York, New Mexico and Florida.

In November, when he reached a settlement with the US Virgin Islands government, his estate’s assets had fallen to $159m, the attorney’s general’s office said.

The estate has paid out more than $160m to his sex trafficking victims since his death, The New York Times reported.

The sale brings to an end the late paedophile’s decades-long association with the US Virgin Islands.

Prosecutors on the Caribbean island said in a 2020 court filing that Epstein had trafficked and sexually abused girls as young as 11 at the properties.

Epstein: Deutsche Bank to Pay $75m Over Sex-Trafficking Lawsuit

Deutsche Bank has agreed to pay $75m (£60m) to settle a lawsuit that claimed the lender had enabled Jeffrey Epstein's alleged sex trafficking ring.

The case was filed by an unnamed woman who alleged that the banking giant continued to do business with Epstein, despite knowing that his accounts were used to facilitate the abuses.

BBC 19 MAY 2023

https://tse2.mm.bing.net/th?id=OIP.R...=Api&P=0&h=180

She also claimed that she was abused by Epstein and trafficked to his friends.

Deutsche Bank declined to comment on the case when approached by the BBC.

The woman, who is listed anonymously as "Jane Doe" in court papers, filed the class-action lawsuit in New York last November on behalf of herself and other women who had allegedly been abused by the late American financier.

She said Deutsche Bank "chose profit over following the law" as it knew it would "earn millions of dollars from facilitating Epstein's sex trafficking"

The woman also alleged that she was sexually abused by Epstein and trafficked to his friends for around 15 years, while receiving cash payments for her sexual acts.

The settlement is expected to be used to pay compensation to dozens of women.

Edwards Pottinger, one of the law firms representing the unnamed woman, told the BBC that the outcome was "likely the largest sex-trafficking settlement involving a banking institution in US history."

"The settlement will allow dozens of survivors of Jeffrey Epstein to finally attempt to restore their faith in our system knowing that all individuals and entities who facilitated Epstein's sex-trafficking operation will finally be held accountable," the firm added.

Deutsche Bank previously sought to have the lawsuit dismissed.

Dylan Riddle, a spokesman for the bank, declined to comment on the settlement on Thursday, but said it had "made considerable progress in remedying a number of past issues".

Mr Riddle added that the bank had invested more than €4bn ($4.3bn; £3.5bn) to improve its controls, training and operational processes, and grown its team dedicated to fighting financial crime.

Epstein died in a New York prison cell on 10 August 2019 as he awaited, without the chance of bail, his trial on sex trafficking charges.

It came more than a decade after his conviction for soliciting prostitution from a minor, for which he was registered as a sex offender.

Claims Prince Andrew's paedophile billionaire pal Jeffrey Epstein threatened billionaire Bill Gates over an alleged affair the Microsoft founder had, 'will send panic' among the disgraced financiers' pals

BBC 22 MAY 2023

https://i2-prod.mirror.co.uk/incomin...IN-epstein.jpg

Prince Andrew’s paedo pal Jeffrey Epstein reportedly appeared to threaten fellow billionaire Bill Gates over an affair the Microsoft founder allegedly had with a young woman.

US tycoon Mr Gates was married and about 55 when he met the Russian bridge player, Mila Antonova, in around 2010 when she was in her 20s.

Wall Street financier Epstein met her three years later before funding her studies at a software coding school.

Convicted sex offender Epstein emailed Mr Gates in 2017 and asked to be reimbursed for the cost of the course, according to the Wall Street Journal.

It followed Epstein failing to convince Mr Gates to participate in a charitable fund.

People who have seen the message say the implication behind it was Epstein could reveal the alleged affair if Mr Gates did not keep up an association between the two men.

A spokeswoman for Mr Gates said: “He met Epstein solely for philanthropic purposes. Having failed repeatedly to draw Mr Gates beyond these matters, Epstein tried unsuccessfully to leverage a past relationship to threaten Mr Gates.”

Ms Antonova, who declined to comment on Mr Gates, 67, said of Epstein: “I had no idea [at the time] that he was a criminal or had any ulterior motive. I just thought he was a successful businessman and wanted to help.”

She told the Wall Street Journal: “I am disgusted with Epstein and what he did.”

During his friendship with Epstein, Andrew stayed at three of the US sex offender’s properties.

The FBI later seized hundreds of hours of surveillance footage filmed in Epstein’s homes. One of his victims talked about secret cameras at Epstein’s New York mansion where Andrew stayed.

Epstein was found dead in his cell at a jail in the city in 2019 aged 66 while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges. The death was ruled a suicide.

A source told the Mirror: “Epstein kept a treasure trove of information in his safes on his famous friends [as an]... insurance policy.

“It wasn’t just royalty he had over to his place but world leaders and celebs.

“They’ve been left not knowing what his cameras caught. No one was off limits.”

The source added the revelations about the apparent threat to Mr Gates “will send panic” among Epstein’s pals.

Prince Andrew May Have Lied About Epstein Friendship Newly Released Emails Suggest

The emails written by paedophile Jeffrey Epstein have been released as part of a US court case and show he was touting the Duke as a potential investor in 2011

BBC 5 JUNE 2023

https://i2-prod.mirror.co.uk/incomin...n-New-York.jpg

Prince Andrew faces fresh questions about his friendship with Jeffrey Epstein after emails emerged suggesting he lied about it in his BBC Newsnight interview.

Emails written by Epstein and released as part of a US court case show he was touting the prince as a potential investor in 2011, despite Andrew claiming he had severed all contact in 2010.

Victims of his paedophile pal last night demanded the prince speak to the FBI, which he has so far refused to do.

It is not known if the Duke knew his name was being touted by Epstein.

But US attorney Spencer Kuvin, who represents Epstein victims, told the Mirror: “It appears that either Epstein was highly overselling his relationship with Prince Andrew or that the duke may not have been entirely truthful about when his friendship ended.”

https://i2-prod.mirror.co.uk/incomin...dophile_02.jpg

Jeffrey Epstein with Ghislaine Maxwell

One of Epstein’s victims, who in 2021 was awarded compensation from the Epstein Victims’ Compensation Program, said: “The emails raise serious questions.

“Why would Jeffrey be lauding him as an investor if he was no longer in contact?

“It makes no sense. Many of the claims the prince made to the BBC were at best questionable but the release of Jeffrey’s emails makes his answers more unbelievable.

“He needs to talk once and for all to the FBI, as he has been asked to. There are people still who have not been brought to justice who aided Jeffrey. We will never give up.”

The emails were released as part of the US Virgin Islands’ lawsuit against JP Morgan.

It is alleged that the bank was “complicit in the crimes of Jeffrey Epstein”. In a counter claim, the bank accuses the territory’s officials of taking money and favours from Epstein in return for looking the other way as he trafficked women to be abused on his island hideaway.

On August 31, 2011, in an email to JP Morgan, Epstein touted Andrew as a potential investment partner.
“He is now allowed to make money,” Epstein wrote.

In his Newsnight interview, the duke told Emily Maitlis he had cut contact with Epstein in December 2010, when he visited him in New York.

She then asked him: “Did you see him or speak to him again?” The duke replied: “No.”

Epstein killed himself in 2019. His former girlfriend Ghislaine Maxwell is serving 20 years for sex trafficking.

Prince Andrew REFUSES to Move Out of Royal Lodge For Home Repairs in Fears He Won't be Allowed Back'

Prince Andrew has repeatedly been asked to leave Royal Lodge to make way for the Prince and Princess of Wales and fears if he was to temporarily move out, he would not return

BBC 12 JUNE 2023

https://i2-prod.mirror.co.uk/incomin...nation-Day.jpg

Prince Andrew has refused yet another request from the King to leave his home as he fears he will 'never be allowed back in again'.

The Grade-II listed Royal Lodge in Windsor Great Park has been home to the Duke of York for two decades and now is reportedly earmarked for the Prince and Princess of Wales.

The Duke of York’s residence has become a battleground amidst claims of his refusal to obey the King's demands to vacate the 30-room property.

Prince Andrew signed a long lease on the £30million property - part of the Crown Estate where he lives with ex-wife Sarah Ferguson - after moving in following the Queen Mother's death.

The Duke has been asked to leave the mansion several times

But Andrew has refused to budge, according to the MailOnline.

A source said: “It's become farcical.

“Andrew has roof repairs scheduled later this summer which will take several months to complete and has been advised that staying in the house during those renovations could prove problematic.

“But he is reluctant to leave.”

The King and Prince Andrew's battle over Royal Lodge has been ongoing for month, with initial reports that the property was becoming too expensive to maintain amidst Charles' desires to squeeze royal budgets.

Andrew meanwhile has had his annual maintenance loan slashed from £249k slashed this year, making upkeep of the huge property increasingly difficult.

The King wants his eldest son and heir to take the home

Andrew has called it home for decades

Last month it was even claimed King Charles could be forced cut off utilities at the Royal Lodge as troublesome Prince Andrew refuses to leave the property despite his requests.

It has been reported palace chiefs initially set a September deadline for the former couple to vacate the residence, but had later accepted it was too soon.

The length of the lease and the fact it's in Andrew's name could pose the King some problems in his quest to move the Duke, according to one insider who recently spoke to The Times.

They said: “This is a lease between him and the Crown Estate. That’s not a matter for the King. It’s a matter for the chancellor of the exchequer. The only way you could get him to move out would be through an arrangement — he would have to agree."

Prince Andrew BANNED From Order of the Garter Ceremony AGAIN as Palace Sets Precedent

Prince Andrew is understood to have been barred from attending the Order of the Garter Day procession at Windsor Castle on 19 June, with Buckingham Palace said to be keen to set a precedent

BBC 21 JUNE 2023

https://i2-prod.mirror.co.uk/incomin...sor-Castle.jpg

Prince Andrew has been barred from the Order of the Garter Day procession at Windsor Castle later this month, it has been claimed.

The Duke of York, 63, is understood to have hoped to be involved in the grand affair, one of the most hallowed ceremonies in the royal calendar.

It will see King Charles and his knights don velvet robes, glistening insignia and plumed hats.

Andrew - who was forced to step down from royal duties in 2019 before being stripped of his titles - was booted from the event at the 11th hour last year.

And it appears Buckingham Palace has doubled down on its approach to limit the disgraced Duke's public appearances.

He has been pushed into the background following scandals involving Jeffrey Epstein and trafficking victim Virginia Giuffre.

Ms Giuffre brought a civil case alleging Prince Andrew had forced her to have sex with him on three occasions in 2001 when she was 17 years old.

Andrew denies the allegations and later agreed to an out of court settlement with his accuser. The settlement is not an admission of guilt and Prince Andrew continues to deny any wrongdoing.

Sources have told Express.co.uk the 2022 procession set a precedent and Andrew will continue to be denied a public-facing role at the even on June 19.

There was allegedly some optimism Charles and Prince William were starting to adopt a softer approach, considering the Duke was allowed to wear his ceremonial robes for the Coronation.

Many were shocked to see him in the Order of the Garter robes at Westminster Abbey last month, considering he is no longer a working royal.

Prince Harry, who stepped down in 2020 to move to the US with wife Meghan Markle, wore a morning suit, in comparison.

King Charles and Prince Andrew

Andrew appeared prominently on the walk to the church on Easter Sunday as well.

He was allowed to attend private events during last year's Order of the Garter Day - but was axed from a public role.

The King and Prince of Wales are said to have intervened at the last minute, arguing it was better for their brother and uncle, respectively, to stay out of the spotlight.

Paedophile Jeffrey Epstein invited ex-Barclays Bank boss Jes Staley to meetings with top UK Government officials AFTER he was released from jail for sex crimes, an internal investigation has revealed.

The 22-page internal report, prepared by JPMorgan Chase after Epstein's arrest in 2019, reportedly showed how the sex offender would regularly provide business advice to then-exec Staley.

Epstein also offered to connect Staley with then Chancellor Alistair Darling and Peter Mandelson, the former business secretary and de facto deputy prime minister, according to the Financial Times. He is also understood to have invited Staley to meetings with senior officials in the government of Dubai.

The unreleased report may suggest Staley's involvement with Epstein goes deeper, and even saw the pedophile offer help with an application one of Staley's daughters sent to Columbia University.

At the time, Staley - who left his job as chairman of the investment banking unit of JPMorgan Chase in 2013 - was tasked with managing Epstein's multimillion-dollar account.

DOJ Finds Misconduct by FED Prison Staff Led to Jeffrey Epsteins' Death

Prison staff misconduct made it easier for sex predator Jeffrey Epstein to kill himself

Epstein, a former friend of Trump and Bill Clinton, committed suicide a month after being arrested on child sex trafficking charges.

BBC NEWS 28 JUNE 2023

The report details how BOP employees failed to check in every 30 minutes on the 66-year-old investor in his cell, lied about their failure to do so and allowed him to have extra clothing.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Jeffrey Epstein, despite his high profile and a jail suicide attempt two weeks earlier, was left alone in his cell with a surplus of bed linens. Nearly all the surveillance cameras on his unit didn’t record. One worker was on duty for 24 hours straight.

The Justice Department’s watchdog said Tuesday that negligence, misconduct and poor job performance by the federal Bureau of Prisons and workers at the New York City jail enabled Epstein to take his own life in August 2019.

Inspector General Michael Horowitz, saying he found no evidence of foul play, blamed numerous factors for Epstein’s death, including the jail’s failure to assign him a cellmate and overworked guards who lied on logs after failing to make regular checks. Had the guards done so, Horowitz said, they would’ve found Epstein had excess linens, which he used in his suicide.

“The combination of negligence, misconduct and outright job performance failures documented in the report all contributed to an environment in which arguably one of the most notorious inmates in BOP’s custody was provided with the opportunity to take his own life,” Horowitz wrote in a report detailing his findings.

Horowitz’s investigation, the last of several official inquiries into Epstein’s death, echoed previous findings that some members of the jail staff involved in guarding Epstein were overworked. He identified 13 employees with poor performance and recommended charges against four workers. Only the two workers assigned to guard Epstein the night he died were charged, avoiding jail time in a plea deal after admitting to falsifying logs.

Horowitz’s report highlighted some of the many problems plaguing the Bureau of Prisons, many of which have been exposed by The Associated Press. The agency, the Justice Department’s largest with more than 30,000 employees, 158,000 inmates and an annual budget of about $8 billion, is plagued by severe staffing shortages, staff sexual abuse and criminal conduct, among other issues,

The Bureau of Prisons said it has accepted all eight of Horowitz’s recommendations, has updated its suicide watch process and will apply other lessons learned “to the broader BOP correctional landscape.”

The agency said it will review video to ensure correctional officers are making the proper rounds and will require more paperwork when prisoners are kept alone in cells. A warden must now be notified when someone is placed on suicide watch, the agency said. It is also requiring specialized training on suicide prevention.

“We make every effort to create a controlled environment within our facilities that is both secure and humane, prioritizing the physical and emotional well-being of those in our care and custody,” the Bureau of Prisons said in a statement.

Horowitz’s report comes nearly four years after Epstein took his own life at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Manhttan while awaiting trial on sex trafficking and conspiracy charges. It also comes weeks after the AP obtained thousands of pages of records detailing the wealthy financier’s detention and death and its chaotic aftermath.

Horowitz’s investigators found no evidence to suggest anything other than suicide, echoing the findings of New York City’s medical examiner’s office, which determined Epstein killed himself, and a separate FBI investigation that found no crimes associated with the death.

No physical evidence supported any of the many conspiracy theories surrounding Epstein’s death, Horowitz concluded, and none of the video captured from the cameras that were recording showed any indication of anyone else in the cell. Investigators probed for possible money changing hands involving guards but found no evidence of that, either.

The workers assigned to guard Epstein were sleeping and shopping online instead of checking on him every 30 minutes as required, prosecutors said.

Nova Noel and Michael Thomas admitted lying on prison records to make it seem as though they had made the checks but avoided prison time under a deal with prosecutors. They left the Bureau of Prisons in April 2022, agency spokesperson Benjamin O’Cone said.

It’s the second time in six months that Horowitz has blamed a high-profile inmate’s death on the Bureau of Prisons’ failings. In December, the inspector general found that management failures, flawed policies and widespread incompetence were factors in notorious gangster James “Whitey” Bulger’s 2018 beating death at a troubled West Virginia prison.

The AP obtained more than 4,000 pages of documents related to Epstein’s death from the federal Bureau of Prisons under the Freedom of Information Act. The documents, including a reconstruction of events leading to Epstein’s suicide, internal reports, emails, memos and other records, underscored how short staffing and corner-cutting contributed to Epstein’s death.

Epstein spent 36 days at the now-shuttered Metropolitan Correctional Center. Two weeks before his death, he was placed on suicide watch for 31 hours after what jail officials said was a suicide attempt that left his neck bruised and scraped.

The workers tasked with guarding Epstein the night he died were working overtime. One of them, not normally assigned to guard prisoners, was working a fifth straight day of overtime. The other was working mandatory overtime, which meant a second eight-hour shift in one day.

In addition, Epstein’s cellmate did not return after a court hearing the day before, and jail officials failed to pair another prisoner with him, leaving him alone.

Epstein Sex Slave ‘Zorro Ranch’, Visited by Andrew SOLD For $27.5 Million? -Ghislaine Maxwell May Benefit

A ranch owned by paedophile billionaire Jeffrey Epstein that was allegedly visited by Prince Andrew has been sold. Jailed and disgraced socialite Ghislaine Maxwell may benefit

BBC 19 AUG 2023

https://i2-prod.mirror.co.uk/incomin...-at-090156.jpg

None of the late paedophiles’ victims will benefit from the multi-millionaire dollar sale. However, shockingly, his partner in crime, Ghislaine Maxwell, could get some of the money. Last night, one of Epstein’s victims branded the possibility “beyond deplorable”.

The now 35-year-old, who was abused by the financier when she was a schoolgirl, told the Mirror: “Is there no depth Ghislaine will stoop to? Not happy with inflicting abuse on young girls with Jeffrey, she now wants to cash in on his offending. It is beyond deplorable how she has the nerve to try and profit while victims can no longer get compensation.”

The Mirror.com reported almost £95 million of Epstein’s fortune was distributed to more than 135 people from his compensation fund set up after his suicide but payments ended in August 2021.

Maxwell is suing her former lover’s estate - where the proceeds will go - claiming the estate failed to provide her with funds despite the deceased child sex offender’s promising to bankroll her for life.

The British socialite, sentenced to 20 years in prison in June last year for grooming and sexually abusing underage girls with Epstein, is continuing her claim from the Florida prison where she is being held. Two days before his jail cell suicide in August 2019, the Wall Street financier put more than £554 million in assets into a trust fund, shrouding it in secrecy while making it more difficult for his victims to collect damages.

None of the inheritors have been made public. However, Karyna Shuliak, his girlfriend and the last person he spoke to on the phone before killing himself, is reported to be one of the primary beneficiaries. The Belarusian also visited him at the grim Metropolitan Correctional Centre in Manhattan, where he was being held 11 days before his death.

The convicted sex offender’s New Mexico bolthole, where some of his most monstrous allegations of sexual abuse occurred, had been on the market for £21.6 million since July 2021. No one dared touch the property even when the twisted sex offender’s estate dropped the price a year later by almost £5 million.

But the Mirror can reveal that on Thursday, the 7,588-acre ‘Zorro Ranch’ sold for an undisclosed fee to San Rafael Ranch, LLC, a company formed just weeks ago. Papers obtained by this newspaper show a ‘special warranty deed’ was issued by the Sante Fe County Clerk’s Office the day before and signed off on by Darren Indyke, the executor of Epstein’s estate.

The sale included the secluded lodge where Andrew is claimed to have stayed whenever he visited. The Duke of York’s sexual abuse accuser Virginia Giuffre and former Zorro Ranch staff all say they witnessed the royal at the remote hilltop mansion.

He allegedly visited the property near Stanley, New Mexico on several occasions. It was there that Giuffre claimed she was flown to as a teenager to meet with the Duke alone. Andrew and his legal team have vehemently denied her claims saying he can never recall even meeting her despite a picture appearing to show them together.

Payments from Epsteins' fortune ended in August 2021

Prince Andrew’s accuser Virginia Giuffre claimed in her unpublished memoir, entered into evidence in her since-settled 2015 defamation case against Maxwell, that she spent two days alone with the prince there in around 2001 when she was 17 or 18.

The alleged sex slave claims billionaire Epstein flew her to his ranch by herself, not knowing who she was going to meet for a sexual encounter. Once there, she claims Andrew was waiting for her with the “same old cheesy grin” she alleges to have seen while meeting him before in London and New York.

Giuffre alleged she was alone with the Duke for two days, during which he enjoyed numerous massages. She wrote of the alleged tryst around 2001: “Ghislaine only told me that I was to meet someone there, not sure of whom that was. It wasn’t my place to ask. As far as I knew, it could be anyone, and I had no choice but to be compliant to their needs.”

Giuffre, who was around 17 or 18 years old at the time, said she landed around “the middle of the day” before a ranch hand collected her from the airport to take her to the mansion. She claims she only discovered Prince Andrew was waiting for her when she arrived at Zorro.

“My job was to entertain him endlessly, whether that meant having to bestow him my body during an erotic massage or simply take him horseback riding,” she wrote in her memoir.

Unlike the Prince’s visits to Epstein’s properties in New York, Palm Beach, Florida and his private Caribbean Island, the American financier and Maxwell were absent. According to a former Zorro housekeeper, Andrew was at the predator’s ranch with a “beautiful young neurosurgeon” on another occasion.

The ranch was sold to a company formed just weeks ago

Deidre Stratton claimed the Prince was “kept company” by the woman for three days when he stayed at the ranch alone. She said Andrew came to stay at the ranch and was put up in a self-contained three-bedroom guest lodge on the estate.

Epstein was not there, but he arranged for Andrew to be accompanied by the woman, later revealed to be Melanie Walker. Stratton said: “At the time Jeffrey had this, she supposedly was a neurosurgeon, quite young, beautiful, young and brilliant, and she stayed in the home with him.

“At one point, we had all these different teas, and you could pick the teas that you wanted, and she asked me to find one that would make Andrew more horny.” When the Mirror tracked down Dr Walker, she refused to comment on Stratton’s remarks when asked.

“I’m guessing she understood her job was to entertain him because I guess, the fear, I don’t know; the fear would be that Andrew would say, ‘No, I didn’t really find her that attractive.’... He would tell Jeffrey that, and then she would be on the ropes.” Stratton told how, while there, she asked Andrew what he would like for breakfast, and the royal said he wanted to try and cook some bacon for himself.

“I offered to come up and fix his breakfast, and he said, ‘No, I want to try.’... When I got up there later to tidy up, you could smell burnt bacon, and he was like, ‘I didn’t do so well.’... He had a croissant and green tea or something. I remember him trying to cook his own breakfast. Isn’t that cute? He couldn’t even fry bacon.”

Epstein reportedly had plans to make the ranch a “baby-making factory” where he would inseminate victims. Computer scientist and writer Jaron Lanier claimed he had previously spoken to a fellow scientist who revealed the convicted paedophile’s goal of having at least 20 women at a time impregnated at the ranch.

Epstein had hoped to use the property to “seed the human race with his DNA”. Over the years, several women accused the late disgraced New York-based investor and convicted sex offender Ghislaine Maxwell of sexually abusing them there.

GVs of the Zorro Ranch in New Mexico, which was formerly owned by Jeffrey Epstein. He had hoped to use the property to 'seed the human race with his DNA

Though he was never charged with a crime in New Mexico, the ranch has been painted as integral to his sex-trafficking operation. The listing noted that Zorro comprises a three-story, four-bedroom main house, a nearby caretaker’s residence, and multiple other structures. It also has another separately and privately located house and four other residences at Ranch Central. Meanwhile, the lodge and log cabin where Andrew is said to have stayed is in its own private location on the ranch.

Zorro, which includes a firehouse, log cabin, guest house, pool, airstrip, antique railroad car and train tracks, is part private, part public land. But New Mexico state officials say Epstein was so secretive about the ranch that they have virtually no access and little knowledge about what happens on the public portions.

Like an impenetrable fortress high on a hill, the property was bought to provide as much privacy as possible from the public and the police. The sprawling compound is tightly guarded with surveillance cameras, well-secured gates and fencing and employees who, despite requests, remain tight-lipped and appear to avoid interaction with any potential visitors.

When scouring New Mexico in the early nineties for a house to add to his portfolio, Epstein told hopeful estate agents “privacy, privacy, privacy” was paramount. “He wanted really far away from people,” Pat French, who Epstein approached in 1992, once said. Andrew’s visits to Zorro around 2001 have been well documented and have been detailed in US court evidence.

King Charles Allows Disgraced Prince Andrew to Stay at Royal Lodge After Striking Deal

Disgraced Prince Andrew has been granted permission by the King to stay at his Royal Lodge home after being given time to show he can find the funds for repairs to the mansion

BBC 3 OCT 2023

Prince Andrew has been granted permission by the King to stay indefinitely at his Royal Lodge home, after thrashing out a deal with the monarch.

The disgraced Duke of York has been given time to assure his brother he can come up with the necessary funds to carry out much needed repairs on the 30 room royal mansion.

Andrew and the King were at loggerheads this summer when the monarch suggested his brother move out of the property and into a smaller four-bedroom cottage on the Windsor estate, vacated by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

But now Andrew, 63, has been granted a “stay of execution”, despite his annual £250,000 handout being cut by the King and his home needing an estimated £2million in repairs. It can also be revealed Andrew had forked out more than £200,000 for roof repairs over the summer, described as an “interim payment”.

https://i2-prod.mirror.co.uk/incomin.../0_Various.jpg

Royal Lodge required a number of repairs, said to be worth £2 million

However, the Grade II listed house is in need of much more urgent repair including damp throughout the property. Royal sources have confirmed the King and Andrew met privately at Balmoral at the end of August, during a royal family gathering, where the issues were discussed.

A friend of the Duke’s suggested there had been a “cooling of relations” with the King and his brother. Andrew was further buoyed by Prince William driving him to and from church during the family stay, representing a further thawing in the camp.

A friend of the Duke’s suggested there had been a “cooling of relations” with the King and his brother

Sources have suggested it was the King who told William to put on the show of family unity and drive his disgraced uncle to the Sunday service at Crathie Kirk church despite the monarch and his heir being the driving force behind his explosion from public life.

https://i2-prod.dailystar.co.uk/inco...In-Windsor.jpg

The Duke was forced to step down from royal duties after his car crash BBC Newsnight interview in November 2019, in which he failed to apologise for his relationship with the late paedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein.

Since then his attempts at plotting a way back into the royal fold have been extinguished by the King and Prince William, who are said to be aligned the Duke should have no role in public life. Andrew’s finances have also been left in disarray after he was forced to pay £12million to his sex abuse accuser Virginia Giuffre to stop a case of alleged assault going to court in the United States.

As part of the King’s plans to scale down the monarchy, Andrew was offered the smaller Frogmore Cottage, which had been recently renovated by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. But the pampered prince rejected the offer and refused to leave Royal Lodge, which he still shares with his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson, despite divorcing 27 years ago.

More Than 170 Jeffrey Epstein 'Associates' to Be Named Next Month

Prince Andrews’ Accuser Hails Naming of 170 Epstein Associates in Unsealed Documents

Donald Trump and The Duke of York are expected to be named as Judge calls for sex offender financiers’ connections to be revealed 'in full’

AP 22 DEC 2023

https://s.yimg.com/ny/api/res/1.2/Fo...7e894d76fbd987

The Duke of Yorks’ accuser last night welcomed a judge’s ruling that will see dozens of Jeffrey Epstein’s associates identified, asking: “Who’s on the naughty list?”

Virginia Giuffre hailed a New York court’s decision to unseal documents filed as part of her lawsuit against Ghislaine Maxwell.

Among those likely to be named in the papers is Prince Andrew, with whom she has claimed she was forced to have sex when she was 17.

Judge Loretta Preska has given those whose names will be released 14 days to appeal against her decision before they are made public.

Ms Giuffre, who settled her civil case with the Duke in early 2022, wrote on X, formerly Twitter:

The settlement with the Duke did not include any admission of wrongdoing.

She added: “Finally we are hearing members of the US government senators about the need for transparency and a call to arms for accountability!!

“There’s going to be a lot of nervous ppl over Christmas and New Years, 170 to be exact, who’s on the naughty list? This wouldn’t be possible without the Honourable Judge Preska.”

Judge Loretta Preska’s order is part of a defamation case involving Ms Giuffre and Maxwell, the British socialite and convicted sex-trafficker.

Anyone on the list will have until Jan 1 to appeal to have their name removed from it.

For several years, Judge Preska has reviewed documents sought by the Miami Herald from the civil case involving Maxwell and Ms Giuffre.

The case was settled in 2017 and many of the records related to the lawsuit have been publicly released in the past few years.

However, the names of scores of Epstein associates remained under a court-ordered seal.

On Monday, Judge Preska made determinations about some portions of the records that were initially withheld on potential privacy grounds and what can be made public about certain people mentioned.

In many instances, she noted that individuals had given media interviews or that their names had previously emerged publicly in various ways, including at Maxwell’s trial two years ago.

Judge Preska’s 51-page ruling, issued on Monday, called for Epstein’s connections to be “unsealed in full”.

Among the records are 40 documents of evidence from Johanna Sjoberg, who has claimed Prince Andrew groped her breast while sitting on a couch inside Epstein’s Manhattan apartment in 2001.

Buckingham Palace has previously denied the allegations, saying they are “categorically untrue”.

Judge Preska concluded that some portions of the records should remain confidential, including those identifying people who were children when they were sexually abused by Epstein and had tried to maintain their privacy.

Epstein took his own life in a New York prison in August 2019 as he awaited trial on charges of sex trafficking and raping young girls.

He was accused of luring numerous underage girls to his homes under the guise of giving him massages, and then sexually abusing them.

Maxwell, 61, is serving a 20-year prison sentence after she was convicted in December 2021 of helping Epstein recruit and sexually abuse underage girls.

The pair were a couple in the early 1990s before becoming collaborators and accomplices in sex crimes that stretched over almost three decades.

Cameron Diaz; Jeffrey Epstein; Leonardo DiCaprio

While Jeffrey Epstein counted many rich and powerful men among his associates –including Bill Clinton, TRUMP and Prince Andrew – a court document released on Wednesday suggests the late financier so craved proximity to celebrity that he made spurious boasts about relationships with Hollywood A-listers.

The unsealed papers do not appear to contain extensive additional information about Epstein’s trafficking of teen girls and women. They include some discussion of Epstein accuser Virginia Giuffre’s medical records and a portion of a deposition provided by a medical provider.

The documents also include an email exchange between Giuffre and the journalist Sharon Churcher, who had been assisting her pursuit of a book deal. In the 2011 exchange, Churcher tells Giuffre that she is correct to be concerned about “what side” Vanity Fair was taking in a story involving Epstein.

Giuffre responds with an unsubstantiated claim that Bill Clinton – who once associated with Epstein – stormed into Vanity Fair and threatened the magazine over the story.

“When i was doing some research into VF yesterday, it docs concern me what they could want to write about me considering that B.Clinton walked into VF and threatened them not to write sex-trafficing [sic] articles about his good friend J E,” Giuffre wrote.

In 2007, Page Six of the New York Post quoted the writer, John Connolly, of the Vanity Fair story rebuffing this claim, which had appeared on Gawker.com. “The site reported former President Bill Clinton had visited Vanity Fair editor Graydon Carter in his Times Square office to kill a John Connolly story about billionaire Jeffrey Epstein,” Page Six said.

“The story supposedly will mention one of Clinton’s friends,” Page Six reported. “Turns out, Clinton never visited Carter, and Connolly told us his story isn’t dead – he’s waiting for Epstein’s next court appearance – and it won’t even mention this high-powered friend.”

In a statement to the Telegraph, Carter denied the Clinton threat claim, saying: “This categorically did not happen.”

However, in 2019, Connolly told NPR that Epstein had threatened Carter years prior when Vanity Fair had been considering covering allegations of sexual misconduct against the financier.

The journalist Vicky Ward, who wrote a 2003 piece for Vanity Fair on Epstein’s life and fortune, had claimed that she had spoken to two Epstein accusers on the record during her reporting.

Carter told NPR that the magazine hadn’t withheld this information due to threats or fear but insisted that Ward’s sourcing hadn’t been legally sufficient for publication.

But Connolly claimed that in 2006, when he had been investigating Epstein, a dead cat had been put outside Carter’s house. Connolly said that Carter had told him he was worried about his children’s safety, and the journalist said he decided to stop pursuing his investigation, according to NPR.

One document included a deposition excerpt from an unidentified Epstein accuser who, while in high school, had been recruited to provide him massages. “I worked very, very hard to not recall anything specific about my sexual encounters with this person as one of his victims,” she said in the deposition.

“I don’t recall exactly how I was propositioned to get there. I just was there, and all of a sudden something horrible happened to me.”

“Did you bring other girls to him?” the woman was asked. She answered yes: “I brought friends over.” They had been her peers, other high-school girls, she said.

She also said that Epstein had asked her to live with him when she was a teenager. “He wanted me to be emancipated,” she said.

The documents stem from Virginia Giuffre’s lawsuit against the British socialite Ghislaine Maxwell, and include excerpts of depositions and motions in that case. Maxwell was convicted in December 2021 of sex trafficking and similar charges for procuring teen girls for Epstein.

Thousands of pages of documents in that lawsuit had been made public previously, but some sections had been blacked out because of privacy concerns.

Some of the high-profile names that have appeared in the court documents so far include Prince Andrew, Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, Michael Jackson and David Copperfield, though many men named are not accused of any sexual misconduct.

While many of the details in the documents were already public, they shed new light on the sheer magnitude of Epstein’s rich and powerful orbit.

The documents so far – with more to come – were sprinkled with names of celebrities and politicians who socialized or worked with Epstein in the years before he was publicly accused of targeting underage girls for sex.

The documents also suggest that Epstein was so hungry for proximity to celebrity that he made spurious boasts about relationships with Hollywood A-listers.

Johanna Sjoberg, an accuser of the late sex offender and financier, claimed in a deposition that he liked to talk about knowing movie stars, such as Leonardo DiCaprio and Cate Blanchett, and that these statements appeared to come across as flimsy braggadocio.

A lawyer asked Sjoberg: “I saw one press report that said you had met Cate Blanchett or Leonardo DiCaprio?”

“I did not meet them, no,” she replied.

Epstein was arrested in July 2019 for sex trafficking and found dead in his jail cell on 10 August of that year; authorities determined that he hanged himself.

The documents have included repetitions of well-known stories about Prince Andrew, who was also sued by Giuffre, who said she had sexual encounters with the royal when she was 17. The prince, who denied the allegations, settled the lawsuit in 2022.

Epsteins ex-housekeeper claimed Prince Andrew had daily massages when he spent 'weeks' at the paedophile financier's Florida home, court documents have revealed – adding that Sarah Ferguson allegedly also visited the residence.

Juan Alessi, who worked at Epstein's Palm Beach residence, said both Prince Andrew and Sarah, Duchess of York, were friends with him and now convicted sex-trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell.

During his video-taped interview under oath in 2009, released on Friday night as part of the latest tranche of documents linked to Epstein, Mr Alessi was questioned on the duke's relationship with Maxwell and the financier.

He said that Andrew would have 'daily' massages while staying at the residence, but that Sarah Ferguson, while 'friends' with Epstein, visited once for a 'short time'.

The newly unsealed files heap fresh embarrassment on the Royal but last night, royal sources claimed that the King continues to feel a 'sense of duty' to his late mother, Queen Elizabeth II, to ensure that Andrew is not 'cut adrift' from the rest of the family.

A source told that Mirror that Charles has told his brother he 'won't be abandoned'.

'Charles promised his late mother he would not abandon Andrew once she was gone and that remains the situation, unless of course he finds himself engaged in a criminal matter,' they said.

Meanwhile, in the interview with housekeeper Mr Alessi, lawyer Katherine Ezell asked: 'Were Prince Andrew and Princess Sarah friends of Ms Maxwell?'

Mr Alessi replied: 'Both of them,' confirming he meant that they were friends with Maxwell and with Epstein.

The lawyer went on: 'Did they ever have massages when they were there?'

Mr Alessi replied: 'Prince Andrew did. I think Sarah was there only once and for a short time. I don't think she slept in there. I cannot remember.

'I think she was visiting Wellington and she came to the house and we met her. But Prince Andrew, yes, Prince Andrew spent weeks with us.'

Ms Ezell then asked: 'Where would he sleep?'

Mr Alessi said: 'In the main room, the main guest bedroom. That was the blue room.'

The lawyer then said: 'And, so, when he would come and stay, during that time would he frequently have massages?

Mr Alessi replied: 'I would say, daily massages.'

NO Investigation Met Police Confirm

No investigation has been launched after Prince Andrew was among people named as associates of Jeffrey Epstein in court papers unsealed by a US court

Sky's crime correspondent Martin Brunt says "Scotland Yard's statement seems to suggest that at this stage at least, it does not find anything new that is worth investigating or assessing".

Prince Andrew has strenuously denied all allegations against him in the past. Buckingham Palace, which no longer speaks on behalf of the duke after he stepped down as a working royal in 2019 over his friendship with Epstein, has not commented on the documents.

‘No Question’: TRUMP KNEW Jeffrey Epstein Was Up to Terrible Things

Young Turks founder and host Cenk Uygur claims there is “no question” former president Donald Trump knew Jeffrey Epstein was up to “terrible things”.

According to the dead financiers’ younger brother Jeffrey Epstein said if he revealed ‘what I know about TRUMP and the Clintons so incendiary, 2016 election would have to be cancelled

A United States court unsealed documents containing the identity of 187 individuals connected to sex offender and former financier Jeffrey Epstein.

There is no suggestion that any of the associated individuals who are named in the documents have committed crimes.

Among the most high-profile names mentioned in the release of court documents is that of former US president Bill Clinton, with testimony from the former financier's associate Ghislaine Maxwell confirming he had flown on Epstein's private plane.

In a separate document, one of Epstein's victims said he had once told her the former president "likes them young, referring to girls," but also said she had not seen Mr Clinton at the former financier's infamous island residence.

The documents also include a reference to former president Donald Trump, with Epstein allegedly telling Johanna Sjoberg, one of Epstein's victims, that he would contact the then real-estate businessman on their way to a New Jersey casino.

Mr Urgur noted that the former president was “terrific friends” with Epstein for a long time.

“It’s easy for the two sides to say ‘Clinton definitely did it, Trump definitely did it” he told Sky News Australia host Piers Morgan.

Mystery sparked over death of Bill Clinton aide Mark Middleton who signed Jeffrey Epstein into the White House 7 times

There Are 1,510 People in Jeffrey Epsteins' Little Black Book

https://i.dailymail.co.uk/1s/2019/03...3035168314.jpg

The Epstein Files (2024)

The latest on who knew what in the biggest sex trafficking ring in history. His elite circle of the wealthy and powerful on notice as thousands of damning new court documents are unsealed...

Our Conclusions From All The Evidence We’ve Collected:

1. Epstein has been murdered, not suicide.

2. The sex offense is not the worst in Epsteins’ case, not from UK perspective and not from U.S. perspective.

3. Not every person that knew, visited and traveled with Epstein had any involvement in sex with minority, sex at all, or any wrong doing. That’s why we decided not to publish the full list that we have from book content.

4. The real severity of the Epstein case contain all the elements that can shake the interaction and relationship of few key countries.

The real and full story may never see the light, and better not. That’s all we can say.

The Book

The black book first emerged in court after Epsteins' former property manager Alfredo Rodriguez tried to sell it for $50,000. Gawker published it in 2015.

Names in the address book likely include aspirational contacts in addition to those Epstein had met personally.

Rodriguez circled three dozen entries but 'died' before clarifying their significance.

There are more than 1,500 people listed in Jeffrey Epsteins infamous little black book. Among them are royalty and nobility, celebrities and academics, art collectors and hedge funders, politicians and heads of state: a motley compendium of global high society.

The address book was unearthed by the FBI after Epsteins former Palm Beach, Florida, house manager Alfredo Rodriguez attempted to sell it to an attorney representing an Epstein accuser for $50,000 in 2009.

Rodriguez annotated dozens of entries — including those of Donald Trump, Les Wexner, Courtney Love, Ehud Barak, Alan Dershowitz, and two labelled "witness" - but died before he could illuminate their precise meaning.

Trump bragged about being friends with ‘real killers’ but no one thought he meant someone this bad.

Jonathan Stone threatened to kill his boss’s wife after being reprimanded for an illicit sexual affair with a minor. If this is the kind of company Trump keeps…

Does the US really want him as president?

Police Report: TRUMP County Chair Threatened To Rape Boss's Wife, Then Kill Him

https://s.yimg.com/ny/api/res/1.2/ZY...ae5a9ddd6fa512

https://images.guns.com/prod/2020/10...eg?imwidth=900

Jonathan Stone, a former New Hampshire police officer, has been a part of Trump’s campaign since 2016, when he gave Trump an inscribed AR-15 assault rifle.

Donald Trump’s county campaign chairs in New Hampshire lost his job as a police officer after threatening to kill his colleagues in a shooting spree, murder the department chief and rape the chief’s wife in retaliation for his suspension over his relationship with a high school girl, according to a newly released report from an internal affairs investigation.

Jonathan Stone, who is currently a second-term state representative, was announced as Trump’s Sullivan County chair by his campaign on June 27, 2023. The coup-attempting former president first came to know Stone during Trump’s 2016 run, when Stone gave him an inscribed AR-15 assault rifle at a campaign stop.

At that point, it had been a decade since Stone had lost his job with the Claremont Police Department, which agreed to a settlement negotiated by the local police union that kept the investigative records secret. The documents were ordered to be released last week by the New Hampshire Supreme Court in a lawsuit by a local newspaper over Stone’s objections.

Stone, who opened a gun shop after losing his job as a police officer, did not reply to HuffPost queries.

Stephen Stepanek, Trump’s New Hampshire campaign chair, said he knew nothing about Stone’s background until seeing news accounts.

“I just found out about it this morning,” Stepanek said Wednesday. “He’s been a Trump supporter for a long time, and he’s been a state representative, and he had, as far as we were concerned, what looked like a great background.”

Stepanek said Stone’s future with the campaign has not been determined.

“We haven’t made any decisions at this point,” he said, adding that he expected the campaign’s top aides at Trump’s South Florida country club would be taking the lead. “I think it will be handled by Mar-a-Lago, in consultation with me.”

Campaign co-managers Chris LaCivita and Susie Wiles did not respond to HuffPost queries.

According to the files released last week, the original 2006 investigation was launched to look into allegations that Stone was involved in a relationship with a 16-year-old high school girl. Department officials decided to suspend Stone for five days and ordered him not to contact her anymore.

Stone, who, according to the files, had already displayed a temper, began telling co-workers about his plans for violence.

One police co-worker told investigators she had heard Stone make threats to a colleague.

“That conversation included discussion about backing a truck up to the back door, kicking the door open and going on a shooting spree,” the co-worker said. “While Jon was under investigation for something, he said he was going to tie up the chief, make the chief watch him as he pillages the chief’s wife and children.”

A department detective told investigators: “I recall Jon saying he was going to go to the chief’s house and rape the chief’s wife, and kids, and shoot the chief.”

The investigators concluded that Stone should not keep his job.

“The seriousness of threatening to kill command staff officers, raping the chief’s wife, tying people up and going ‘postal’ are violations at the most serious level. Stone’s conduct goes so far beyond what is expected of a professional police officer that [the] only appropriate resolution is his removal from office,” investigators wrote.

In 2016, Stone, who by then had opened Black Ops Arms in Claremont, New Hampshire, presented Trump with an AR-15 rifle inscribed with the numbers “1-4-5,” signifying that Trump was his first choice to become the 45th president.

Stone has remained in Trump’s camp since. Trump named him one of his 14 New Hampshire county and city chairs last June and praised him from the stage during a rally in Claremont five months later.

It is unclear what came of the assault rifle Stone gave Trump in 2016.

Trump, who lost New Hampshire in both 2016 and during his 2020 reelection bid, won the state’s primary again three months ago, clearing the way to his third straight Republican presidential nomination despite facing four separate criminal prosecutions.

Two of those are based on his actions leading up to and on Jan. 6, 2021, when a mob of his followers attacked the U.S. Capitol in an attempt to reinstall him as president.

A federal indictment could go to trial as early as late August, depending on the timing of a Supreme Court ruling on his claim that he is immune from prosecution. A Georgia state prosecution based on his attempt to overturn his election loss in that state could also start later this year.

A New York state prosecution on charges that he falsified business records to hide hush money payments in the days before the 2016 election is to begin jury selection on Monday, while a second federal prosecution based on his refusal to turn over secret documents he took with him from the White House to Mar-a-Lago has not yet been set for trial.

In 2023, a New York jury found that Trump had sexually penetrated writer E. Jean Carroll against her will in an incident in the 1990s, finding him civilly liable for sexual abuse.

The federal judge in the case later clarified that Trump’s actions were rape in the “common modern parlance.”

Re: PROOF TRUMP is a CRIMINAL-Pardoned GOP For Laundering Russian Money to HIM

GOP Operative Loses Appeal of Conviction For Funneling Russian Money to TRUMP Campaign

A FED Appeals Court has upheld the conviction of a Republican operative who had been pardoned by Donald Trump in the waning days of his presidency.

MSRAW 20 APR 2024

https://www.rawstory.com/media-libra...200&height=675

The District of Columbia Circuit Court rejected an appeal by Jesse Benton, a former senior aide to Senate minority leader Mitch McConnell and Sen. Rand Paul, of his November 2022 conviction for orchestrating a scheme to conceal a $100,000 donation from a Russian national to his GOP consulting firm — and pocketing most of it.

https://pbs.twimg.com/media/E_zKTA_VcAQGB4p.jpg:large

Russian businessman Roman Vasilenko wired the money under his own name to the consulting firm, but Benton kept $75,000 for himself and gave $25,000 under his name to the presidential campaign for Trump, who posed for a photo with Vasilenko.

Benton then filed a false report with the Federal Election Commission to conceal the source of the funds, the court found.

Benton had appealed the conviction, saying Trump's 2020 pardon should have prevented the jury from hearing about his previous election crimes before convicting him of the newer charges.

However, prosecutors argued that the unusual manner in which Trump handed out pardons by sidestepping the Justice Department's Office of the Pardon Attorney should have allowed them to present evidence of Benton's previous conviction for bribing an Iowa politician to switch his endorsement in 2011 to Ron Paul's long-shot presidential campaign.

The 45-year-old Benton, who is married to Ron Paul's granddaughter, was sentenced to 18 months in prison for that straw donor scheme.

'DON' TRUMPs' Crime Syndicate Plan to Turn FBI & DoJ Into His Attack Dog

Inside The TRUMP Crime Syndicate and MAGA Kitchen Cabinet of Knaves and Rogues

Before Donald Trump criminalized the White House, Republican Party and perhaps the Supreme Court, he was the CEO of the Trump Organization —Fraudster, racketeer and patriarchal Boss of a family owned and operated criminal enterprise.

MSRAW 6 MAY 2024

https://www.rawstory.com/media-libra...200&height=856

Roger Stone, adviser to Donald Trump, at Courthouse on Feb. 20, 2020, in Washington, sentenced after he was found guilty on seven felony counts of obstructing congressional investigation into Russia’s interference in the 2016 election.

Trump spent five decades in New York and beyond avoiding charges and prosecutions for sexual harassment, tax evasion, money laundering and nonpayment of employees.

If this wasn’t enough, Trump also busied himself by allegedly defrauding tenants, customers, contractors, investors, bankers, attorneys, students and charities, not to mention making use of undocumented workers.

In retrospect, Trump’s lifetime of lies and lawlessness appear to have prepared him for the fateful moment in which he now finds himself — in a court of law, answering for the first 34 of 88 felony counts that stem from alleged crimes he committed immediately before, during and after his presidency. Trials involving Trump’s alleged 2020 election interference and illegal retention of national secrets loom.

As the fraudster-in-chief and Benedict Arnold of our time, Trump continues to maintain his innocence and blames everybody but himself while attempting to make a mockery of the U.S. Constitution and the rule of law.

In light of Trump’s defiance, and the potential for more illegal Trumpian interference during the 2024 election, in which he is almost certain to be the Republican Party’s nominee, now is a good time to go beyond Trump and explore the criminal culpability of Trump Crime Syndicate lieutenants and Trump’s kitchen cabinet of MAGA knaves and rogues.

These are the people who have aided and abetted Trump, and continue to assist him in his single-minded quest to become the most powerful man in America.

They are worth your attention precisely because of the danger to democracy that they represent.

Criminalizing the power of the pardon with the intent to defraud

At the federal level, a gaggle of powerful Republican actors were deeply involved in the plot to overturn the 2020 election in Trump’s favor. These include — and are not limited to — Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH), Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA), and Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI).

At the state level, dozens of Republican fake electors and Trump stakeholders have been criminally indicted in Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, and Nevada.

All of these criminal indictments for election interference like Trump’s indictments are “basically telling the same story of corruption and venality” except for their “different charges” according to Kenneth F. McCallion, a former Special Attorney and Assistant U.S. Attorney with the DOJ who also worked for the New York attorney’s general office as a prosecutor on Trump-related racketeering cases.

But before proceeding further with this examination of presidential crime, politics and accountably, it is important to highlight Trump’s unprecedented usage of the pardon power, which facilitated the failed coup of Jan. 6, 2021, as well as Republican electioneering of 2024.

Prior to Trump, the presidential power of the pardon had always been about showing mercy and compassion. It was most certainly not a tool for rewarding criminal loyalty and weaponizing criminal conduct.

Excluding Michael Cohen, Trump’s longtime “fixer” and former “partner in crime,” the Boss pardoned several of his other loyal associates, especially those within the Trump Crime Syndicate.

Former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort arrives to his arraignment in Manhattan Criminal Court, on June 27, 2019, in New York City. Manafort pleaded not guilty to mortgage fraud and other criminal charges filed by New York state authorities.

For example, in relation to Russian election interference in 2016, Trump pardoned his former campaign manager Paul Manafort.

Revealed for the man he is in the 1992 Center for Public Integrity report The Torturers’ Lobby, Manafort in 2019 was found guilty in the Eastern District of Virginia of two counts of bank fraud, five counts of tax fraud and one count of failing to disclose an offshore bank account.

Manafort also pleaded guilty to conspiracy against the United States and to witness tampering in the federal District of Columbia. Most of these crimes were connected to his lobbying work in Ukraine.

Then, just days before his longtime friend and campaign adviser Roger Stone’s 48-month incarceration was scheduled to begin for seven felony convictions, including impeding a congressional inquiry, Trump commuted Stone’s sentence.

And when Trump was literally leaving the Oval Office and almost out the door, he granted clemency to his former chief political strategist Steve Bannon who had defrauded Trump donors out of more than $1 million to allegedly help build the border wall between the United States and Mexico.

Steve Bannon
Steve Bannon, advisor to Trump, appears in Manhattan Supreme Court to set his trial date on May 25, 2023 in New York City.

Trump also pardoned retired Gen. Michael T. Flynn, the only one-time White House official to be convicted as part of the Trump-Russian investigation carried out by special counsel, Robert S. Mueller III.

In the cases of both Stone and Flynn, Trump’s “forgiveness” came after Bill Barr, Trump’s third of five attorneys general, failed to shut down these investigations on the spurious grounds that these two perpetrators, Stone and Flynn, had been the victims of witch hunts and overzealous prosecutors.

We have also known for nearly two years since former White House aide Cassidy Hutchinson’s testimony before a House select committee that the pardon power does not prohibit preemptive pardons. Nine members of Trump’s kitchen cabinet requested them in the wake of Jan. 6, demonstrating their full knowledge and intent of criminal wrongdoing.

Meanwhile, Manafort, Stone, Bannon, and Flynn are back supporting Trump’s 2024 campaign as they did in 2016 and 2020. And, Trump and Putin are closer than ever.

The Russian president has even publicly endorsed him this time round . It didn’t hurt that Trump seemed to have Putin’s back most, if not, all the time since he took office.

Trump opposing NATO as well as Ukraine helped as well. Trump’s pardoning his own men involved in the 2016 interference seemed to condone it. His illiberal authoritarian and anti-democratic credo was another plus.

Trump’s minions began their election interference in 2015 and never stopped

Let’s begin with the criminal prosecutions related to the 2016 Russian election interference investigated by Mueller.

Mueller’s investigation led to the indictments of 34 individuals and three Russian companies. Five Trump associates and campaign officials were convicted of felonies including those mentioned above.

Mueller’s final report, while finding insufficient evidence of a Trump-Russian conspiracy, did conclude that the Trump campaign colluded with Russia, and expected to benefit from Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.

Key Players in The 2016 Russian Collusion Affair

Paul Manafort (discussed above) according to the U.S. intelligence community was also believed to have passed internal Trump campaign and polling strategy information to Russian spy Konstantin Kilimnik.

Rick Gates, a longtime business associate of Manafort and also a former Trump campaign official, was also charged in two separate federal courts and he too plead guilty to two counts of conspiracy against the United States, lying to federal prosecutors, financial crimes, and lobbying without a license.

Michael Flynn was also pardoned by Trump and worked on the 2020 as well as the 2024 presidential campaigns. Since 2022 Flynn has had a ReAwaken roadshow with the Army of God for Trump. He was the first to plead guilty in 2017 after admitting that he made false statements and omissions in FBI interviews only days after Trump was sworn in to office.

The former Army general “impeded and otherwise had a material impact on the FBI’s ongoing investigation into the existence of any links or coordination between individuals associated with the campaign and Russian efforts to interfere in the 2016 election.”

Roger Stone (discussed above) was the subject of the video, The Roger Stone tapes, that reveals Stone working from the Willard hotel in D.C. with Giuliani and others, and quickly checking out while the riots were taking place.

Michael Cohen, Trump’s personal attorney and “fixer” for more than a decade, pleaded guilty in a New York federal court to one count of making a false statement to Congress as well as to other crimes committed in his taxi related business in the Southern District of New York. He spent almost three years in prison serving time concurrently for both convictions.

Cohen and David Pecker are two of the key, among, many witnesses from Trump’s inner circle testifying against their former Boss in the New York presidential election interference case.

By contrast, defendant Trump has no witnesses on his behalf. He also has no family or friends except son Eric who showed up in court on April 30 for the first time. Otherwise surrounded by only his attorneys who are devoid of any facts and some twisted law, maybe, if they are lucky.

And through testimony on Friday the defense had scored no points during cross-examination that so far could create reasonable doubt.

Nixon’s Watergate was ‘much ado about nothing’ compared to Trump’s failed coup and insurrection

To put Trump’s minions in perspective, a brief examination of President Richard Nixon’s henchmen is required.

In response to the criminal cover-up of the crimes involved in the attempted burglary of the headquarters of the Democratic National Committee at the Watergate Hotel in Washington, D.C., on June 17, 1972. Nixon was named as an "unindicted co-conspirator" on March 1, 1974, by a federal grand jury in the District of Columbia. This was a wide conspiracy case that sent some of Washington's biggest names at the time to prison.

Compared to Trump’s failed coup, Nixon’s Watergate break-in and cover-up was no big deal; it certainly was not an existential threat to democracy and the rule of law. There was no violence toward the Capitol or danger to members of Congress and the vice president.

Forty federal officials were indicted or jailed in the case. These included Nixon's highest-ranking officials such as the former Attorney General and chairman of his 1972 presidential campaign John Mitchell.

Along with the disgraced Mitchell there was John Dean, White House legal counsel, John Ehrlichman and H.R. Halderman (White-House senior staff), Charles Colson, special counsel to the President, and James McCord, Security Director of CREEP. They were found guilty of conspiracy, obstruction of justice and perjury in the January cover-up trial of 1975.

All of these men carried out orders that, directly or indirectly, originated with Nixon himself.

What stands out as a huge difference between the Watergate crimes responsible for forcing the resignation of Richard Nixon from the presidency of the US and the Jan 6 insurrection was that Nixon became an unindicted co-conspirator while still in office.

And he received his comeuppance after only a little over two years since the crimes occurred. At the time, Nixon had been president for the better part of six years.

Trump after eight years of election interference and four years as president has yet to receive his criminal comeuppance. Even if he is convicted later this month on 34 felony counts in Manhattan, his appeals could delay his well-deserved imprisonment from occurring for at least another year or two.

By contrast, three years after Jan.6, and the violent assault on the Capitol building there have been 749 convicted and sentenced offenders.

At least 467 rioters have been incarcerated in either jail or prison for an array of offenses including assaulting law enforcement officers, felonious obstructing, impeding, or interfering with a law enforcement officer during a civil disorder.
More than a dozen members of the Oath Keepers and Proud Boy were convicted of the serious charges of seditious conspiracy.

Additionally, 53 persons have been indicted as fake electors, many of whom have been high ranking Republican officials in the states of Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, and Arizona.

Compared to racketeering, Trump and company’s very complex and organized election interference that included more than 2000 rioters besieging the Capitol on Jan. 6, and hundreds more working away in seven swing states including Pennsylvania, New Mexico, Wisconsin, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada and Arizona.

Former U.S. President Donald Trump sits with his attorneys Emil Bove (L) and Todd Blanche (R) as he attends his trial for allegedly covering up hush money payments at Manhattan Criminal Court on May 3, 2024 in New York City.

Trump was charged with 34 counts of falsifying business records last year, which prosecutors say was an effort to hide a potential sex scandal, both before and after the 2016 presidential election. Trump is the first former U.S. president to face trial on criminal charges.

Paradoxically, it may seem strange given the reaction of the Republicans and the Department of Justice to Nixon and Watergate, that Trump and his election interference crimes have been given a free pass by the Supreme Court.

With respect to Trump’s inner circles, a few have already pleaded guilty and many more will be held to account regardless of whether Trump is, although this is certainly a reflection on a man who boasted of surrounding himself with the “best and brightest” the nation has to offer.

Did Louisiana Republicans Just Vote To Protect Child Rapists?

- The party of 'family values' is siding with child rapists over their victims in Louisiana.

As part of an analysis on the way Donald Trump strong-armed the Republican Party after his 2020 presidential election loss to set up a third run 2024, one GOP insider suggested any other GOP lawmaker who felt they could compete with him never had a chance.

According to the Guardian's Richard Luscombe, the sheer number of extended Trump family members who will be representing Florida at the Republican party convention this summer is indicative of how the former president has taken over state parties and shut everyone else out.

Noting that Eric Trump will lead the Florida delegation with Don Jr, his fiance Kimberly Guilfoyle, Tiffany Trump and her husband Michael Boulos also on-board, Luscombe wrote, "The parallels in Trump’s subjugation of the national Republican party, and the installation of Lara Trump, Eric’s wife, as its co-chair, are hard to miss – especially as it was Florida’s hard-right governor, Ron DeSantis, who was once seen as a potential 'Trump killer' in the party’s nomination race until, of course, Trump quickly vanquished him."

According to Dan Judy, a senior analyst for the Republican-centric North Star Opinion Research, Trump worked effectively behind the scenes at capturing state parties much as he did after he fled Manhattan for his Florida Mar-a-Lago resort.

“The big, sort of under-the-radar story in American politics over the last couple of years was the way Trump and his people had taken over state parties across the country,” Judy explained.

“Even early in the primary process, a year and a half ago when Ron DeSantis was riding high and leading a lot of the polls, I was always thinking: Trump has control of the state parties, he’s got his people in, and they are, for lack of a better word, going to attempt to rig the process in favor of Donald Trump," he added.

Judy also pointed to rule changes at the state level that switched to winner-takes-all which crippled the chances of GOP up-and-comers like former Gov. Nikki Haley (R-SC) who has drawn substantial support — even after having dropped out — but continues to walk away empty-handed primary after primary.

'DON' TRUMP and Allies Plan to Turn FBI and DoJ Into His Attack Dog

Reuters released a lengthy report documenting a plan being hatched by Trump and allies to transform the Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation into an "attack dog for conservative causes."

MSRAW 17 MAY 2024

https://www.needtoimpeach.com/wp-con...mpshake-01.png

The plan would essentially gut the wall of separation that has existed between the DOJ and the White House that was erected in the wake of former President Richard Nixon weaponizing law enforcement agencies against his political opponents.

Essentially, the plan in question contains two parts, sources tell Reuters: "First: flood the Justice Department with stalwart conservatives unlikely to say "no" to controversial orders from the White House" and then "restructure the department so key decisions are concentrated in the hands of administration loyalists rather than career bureaucrats."

More specific initiatives will include eliminating the FBI's general counsel, which enraged Trump during his presidency by approving an inquiry into his 2016 campaign's contacts with Russian government officials.

Trump ally and convicted criminal Steve Bannon argued to Reuters that simply purging the DOJ of career officials wouldn't be enough, as the department needed to be restructured to answer directly to the president.

"It's not just personnel: you do need to purge the DOJ, but you also need to reform it," he said.

However, some democracy advocates raised alarms about plans to make the nation's top law enforcement agency into a political institution.

"There are always enforcement disputes... that is standard politics," Kristy Parker, a member of the legal advocacy organization Protect Democracy, told Reuters.

"What is not standard politics is somebody basically coming in and saying we are going to jettison the idea that the Department of Justice should have a wall of separation between it and the personal political agenda of the president."

TRUMP Crime Syndicate FBI Control & $90MIL Dark Money Spent on Racist/Transphobic

TRUMP-Linked Dark-Money Maga Group Spent $90MIL on Racist and Transphobic Ads in 2022, Records Show

Revealed: Citizens for Sanity was one of top political spenders last election cycle and is back for 2024 with more extreme messaging

The Guardian 22 MAY 2024

https://i.guim.co.uk/img/media/86aa3...0&dpr=1&s=none

A dark money group with ties to Trumps inner circle dropped more than $90MIL on ads described as vile, racist and transphobic in the second half of 2022 alone, new tax records obtained by Documented and the Guardian reveal.

The staggering sum makes the newly created group, which is based out of the nerve center for the Maga movement, one of the top political spenders in the last election cycle, as it now appears to gear up to influence voters with violent, bigoted messaging in 2024.

https://absolutenews.com/wp-content/...1709565556.png

The group, called Citizens for Sanity, formed in mid-2022, and quickly drew attention as it flooded the airwaves in battleground states and swing districts with deeply offensive and often misleading ads.

Citizens for Sanity is housed at the headquarters of the Conservative Partnership Institute, which is a key Maga political base.

Some ads targeted LGBTQ+ rights and attacked “Biden and his radical allies” for supporting “the woke left’s war on girls’ sports” and the “woke war on our children”

Others pictured Latino immigrants and characterized them as criminals “draining your paychecks, wrecking your schools, ruining your hospitals [and] threatening your family”, declaring that “Joe Biden and the Democrats have erased our southern border”

Another featured scene after scene of violent crime involving Black people, blaming the disturbing imagery on the “radical leftwing love affair with criminals”. The racist ads seem to be part of a bigger strategy to try to suppress voting among communities of color.

Not long ago, this kind of extreme messaging would be relegated to far-right internet message boards like 4Chan. But Citizens for Sanity even ran these ads during the World Series, and tax records show that Citizens for Sanity spent a stunning $93m in the final months of 2022, with nearly all of those funds going towards payments to outside media firms for “advertising and promotion”.

These new records show that wealthy special interests are spending incredible amounts of money on messaging campaigns that mainstream extremism and push patent disinformation to voters in critical swing states and districts.

The group’s 2022 ads attacked Democrats and promoted divisive “culture war” issues, but were carefully worded to avoid triggering campaign finance reporting that year. These tax records offer the first comprehensive look at the group’s total spending last election cycle.

Citizen for Sanity’s spending has continued into this election cycle, with more recent ads focusing intensely on “anti-white” racism. One ad from last year plays on racist fears of white Americans being disadvantaged by diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) metrics, falsely claiming that “leftwing politicians think skin color and gender identity should determine who gets the job”.

Another ad declares that equity is “leftwing code for whites and Asians not welcome”. The group asserts that “Democrats used to care about the middle class, now they just care about your race and your gender.” Other ads have targeted Democrats in competitive races, such as Senator Sherrod Brown in Ohio.

If Citizens for Sanity’s surge in spending in the latter half of 2022 is any indication, the bulk of the group’s spending this cycle is yet to come.

The newly obtained tax records also reveal that Citizens for Sanity is housed at the headquarters of the Conservative Partnership Institute (CPI), a “nerve center for the right wing” and a key component of Maga political infrastructure.

CPI is staffed with former Trump officials – including his twice-indicted chief of staff Mark Meadows and the lawyer Cleta Mitchell – and has launched several other projects, including America First Legal, the legal group created by Meadows and Trump’s anti-immigrant speechwriter Stephen Miller.

In 2022, OpenSecrets reported that America First Legal also employed Citizens for Sanity’s three board members – Gene Hamilton, John Zadrozny and Ian Prior – all of whom are former Trump administration officials. Prior told OpenSecrets at the time that Citizens for Sanity had “no relationship with America First Legal Foundation”, but the group’s latest tax filings describe the two as “related organizations”.

Citizens for Sanity’s staggering $93m in spending eclipsed that of its parent groups, surpassing even the combined total spent by CPI ($23m), and America First Legal ($35m). The funding totals hints at the sheer amount of money flowing through CPI’s growing Capitol Hill empire, as CPI and its allies work to promote an extreme political agenda and prepare for a second Trump term.

It also is further evidence that attacks on equality and attacks on democracy are often coming from the same place...

Former President Donald Trump well and truly operated his presidency — and his efforts to keep it legally protected — like a Mafia operation, former FBI Director James Comey told MSNBC's Alex Wagner on Tuesday evening.

This comes as Trump's criminal hush payment trial in Manhattan moves closer and closer to jury deliberation — and as Republican allies of Trump come to New York to attack court officers' families and witnesses, which, Comey said, is by design.

"As you've watched this from the sidelines, give us the hypothesis, this is a form of organized crime," said Wagner. "What have you thought about this hush money trial?"

"It felt familiar to me," said Comey, who was infamously fired as FBI director by Trump shortly into his term after Comey refused to end investigations into Trump and his allies.

"I found my own reactions were so dramatic that I tried to suppress it, but kept coming back. It is back fully now. They even did the Cosa Nostra trick of bringing people to court to rattle the witness. Michael Corleone brings someone. But they even dress like the mobsters do. It felt familiar."

"The day that Donald Trump sent a $70,000 check to Michael Cohen reimbursing him for the hush money payments, that is the same day that he was pressuring you to end the Michael Flynn investigation," said Wagner.

"I'm not presuming you know about the checks, but it suggests that he may have been multitasking. And I wonder, as we go back to the idea that the Trump Organization and the Trump presidency may have operated in a syndicate-like fashion, what parallels do you see in the boss being involved in all the business?"

"He turned the Oval Office into a social club, like a version of John Gotti's Ravenite social club," said Comey. "And people just came in with the business at hand. Some of it was government, and apparently, some of it was very private.

I was not there to see him. I was there to see the chief of staff who said, do you want to visit the boss? And I said, I'm sure he's busy. And he said, come on. come on."

All of this felt very "Godfather," Wagner noted in response.

TRUMP Has Unclaimed Property and Abandoned Money in at Least 16 States

What do Trump University and Trump Taj Mahal have in common — other than being among the failed businesses of Donald Trump?

They still have unclaimed assets in New York and New Jersey, according to online public databases. That’s just for starters.

MSRAW 28 MAY 2024

https://www.rawstory.com/media-libra...200&height=815

Analysis showed Trump having unclaimed assets in at least 16 states plus the District of Columbia. In Florida alone, the state’s chief financial officer earlier this month informed Trump that he has $54,000 in unclaimed property.

This might not seem like much relative to Trump’s wealth. But Trump is leaving money on the table — potentially hundreds of thousands of dollars or more — while running up staggering legal expenses to defend himself against 88 felony counts across four criminal trials.

Donors are meanwhile contributing millions of dollars to pay Trump’s legal bills. Trump also trails substantially in fundraising for his presidential campaign against President Joe Biden, the presumptive Democratic nominee.

A conservative count from online records showed at least 137 instances in New York of Trump having unclaimed property — for his current and former businesses as well as himself, individually.

That includes four potential claims for the defunct Trump University, which paid a $25 million settlement in 2018 to students who said they were defrauded.

The unclaimed money comes from companies such as eBay for “undelivered goods/services” and Amazon for “outstanding checks issued to vendors.

”In New Jersey, Trump has at least 40 instances of unclaimed property.

That includes the Trump Taj Mahal hotel and casino, which closed in 2016 after Trump proclaimed it the “eighth wonder of the world” when it opened in 1990. It sold for pennies on the dollar, but it still has money to its name at the New Jersey Treasury.

There are at least 10 instances of unclaimed property for Trump Taj Mahal. New Jersey does not list the source or reason for the unclaimed money.

New York and New Jersey do not publicly disclose the value of unclaimed property until a request for payment has been approved.

Trump’s campaign did not respond to a request for comment.

The Thief - TRUMP Secretly Funnelled $5MIL From Campaign Coffers Into Private Businesses

Donald Trump has funneled nearly $5 million from his presidential campaign coffers into his private businesses, according to a new financial analysis.

MSNRAW 14 JUN 2024

Trump — convicted last month of falsifying business records to cover up hush money payments ahead of the 2016 presidential election — has yet to donate a cent to his own campaign but his businesses have charged it $4.6 million, Forbes reported Wednesday.

The former president, worth an estimated $6.4 billion, has been collecting donations from MAGA supporters across the U.S. with increasingly threatening rhetoric that, on Wednesday, raised the specter of mass beheadings.

"Haul out the guillotine," Trump declared in his campaign cash-grab. "It's not just me they want gone, THEY'RE REALLY COMING AFTER YOU!"

Forbes analysis of Federal Election Commission records found $4.2 million funneled to Trump's aviation company Tag Air.

Trump's private jet — which he claims is better than Air Force One but experts say is comparable to a flying Staten Island ferry — has been transformed into "something of a charter service," Forbes reports.

A Trump campaign spokesperson responded to Forbes request for comment by noting Trump donated his $400,000 annual White House salary.

Trump’s 2024 campaign has also spent $332,000 at his social club Mar-a-Lago, where Federal Bureau of Investigation agents found classified documents at the heart of special counsel Jack Smith's Florida federal court case against the former president.

The campaign spent $20,000 at the Miami golf resort Trump National Doral, $36,000 a Trump hotel in Las Vegas, according to the report.

"Add it all up—the $4.6 million from the 2024 campaign and millions more from Trump’s other groups—and his businesses have collected about $7 million in total since the 2020 election," the analysis concludes.

"Not a bad consolation prize."

'Pastor' Robert Morris Confesses To Grooming Underage Girl

MSNRAW 17 JUN 2024

The pastor of Texas megachurch who was appointed to Donald Trumps "spiritual advisory" group in 2016, has admitted that he fondled a 12-year-old when he was 20 and was staying with her family in 1982.

That admission, made in a statement to the Christian Post, came after the woman, identified as Cindy Clemishire, spoke with The Wartburg Watch and accused Pastor Robert Morris, who is now a senior pastor at the Gateway Church in Dallas- Ft. Worth, of sexually assaulting her.

Speaking with Wartberg Watch, she claimed, "She thought nothing of visiting a family friend in their bedroom. He told her to lie down on her back and touched her stomach. He told her to close her eyes. Then he touched her breasts and felt under her panties. He warned her: Never tell anyone about this because it will ruin everything."

According to the Beast, "The abuse continued for years before Clemishire confided in a close friend, prompting Morris’ wife to find out and Morris to step down from the ministry, according to the report. He eventually returned to the church and founded Gateway Church in 2000, turning it into one of the country’s largest megachurches with an estimated weekly attendance of 100,000."

Pressed about the accusations by the Christian Post, Morris explained in a statement, "When I was in my early twenties, I was involved in inappropriate sexual behavior with a young lady in a home where I was staying. It was kissing and petting and not intercourse, but it was wrong.

This behaviour happened on several occasions over the next few years."

He then added, "In March of 1987, this situation was brought to light, and it was confessed and repented of. I submitted myself to the Elders of Shady Grove Church and the young lady’s father. They asked me to step out of ministry and receive counseling and freedom ministry, which I did. Since that time, I have walked in purity and accountability in this area."
