Bride Alarmed After Discovering Groom Being Breastfed by His MUM Before The Wedding

A professional wedding make-up artist has spoken out about her alarm after she and a bride walked in on a groom being breastfed by his own mother, right before he was due to say his vows

Wedding make-up artists will have seen it all and then some, from tantrums to last-minute wobbles from couples, but one make-up artist had a wedding story to share that has left many people stunned.

The beauty professional, known only as Jenny, had been helping a bride-to-be nip to the loo ahead of her ceremony when they encountered an alarming scene, involving the groom and his mother.

Jenny shared the jaw-dropping tale with UK wedding planner Georgie Mitchell while they were working together, and Georgie recently recounted the story on an episode of the comedy podcast Unfiltered Bride.

Building up the tension, Georgie told co-host Beth how '[The bride] walked into the toilet and what she saw is enough to end a wedding'. Initially, Beth assumed she meant the groom had been cheating on her in the loos or taking drugs, but Georgie explained that her discovery was in fact 'much worse' than that.

To Beth's horror, and to the horror of many of their stunned listeners, Georgie revealed: "He was being breastfed by his mum."

An astonished Beth replied: "Sorry, WHAT? Why would you marry a man [who still breastfeeds]?', to which Georgie reasoned, 'I don't think she knew that was what was happening!"

The women then reflected on why his mum was producing milk, to which Georgie concluded that she'd 'obviously been doing it continuously to get to that point'.

Although not an ideal image to have in your mind's eye as you walk down the aisle, Georgie clarified that the shocked bride had indeed still gone ahead with the wedding.

She added: "Everybody is in the room waiting! But you definitely wouldn't kiss when they say will you kiss the groom!'

Followers were left gasping as the story unfolded, unable to believe what they were hearing.

One person wrote: "The strongest man couldn't lift my jaw right now."

Another commented: "Took 'mummy's boy' to a whole new level."
