The Beatles open the Apple Boutique in London. (1967)

Eric Burdon announces he will break-up the Animals after a December 22 concert at Newcastle City Hall. He plans to move to California and embark on an acting career. (1968)

A year of trouble starts of Fleetwood Mac. Their manager, Clifford Davis, claims ownership of the band's name and assembles a bogus Fleetwood Mac, which he puts out on tour. (1973)

Linda Ronstadt's "You're No Good" is born. (1974)

Guns N' Roses announce they will keep the Charles Manson penned tune, "Look At Your Game, Girl" on their album, "The Spaghetti Incident?" They decided to keep it on after they learned that the royalties from the song will go to the son of one of Manson's victims. (1993)
