Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Accused of Rape and Severe Physical Abuse & Sex Trafficking by Ex-Girlfriend Cassie

Damaging lawsuit filed by ex-girlfriend Casandra Ventura, the singer Cassie, alleges Combs abused her for more than 10 years

Sean Combs, a hip-hop icon and the founder of Bad Boy Records, has been accused of rape and abuse in a major lawsuit filed by the singer Cassie that alleges he used his powerful network to keep her trapped in a violent relationship with him.

https://breaking911.com/wp-content/u...6-1024x768.jpg

Cassie, whose legal name is Casandra Ventura, dated Combs for more than a decade.

She alleges that over the course of their relationship, Combs assaulted her multiple times – viciously beating and raping her – and controlled every aspect of her life, the New York Times first reported on Thursday. She faced “a cycle of abuse, violence, and sex trafficking” until their relationship ended in 2018, according to the lawsuit.

She said in a statement to the Times that after “years in silence and darkness”, she was “finally ready to tell my story, and to speak up on behalf of myself and for the benefit of other women who face violence and abuse in their relationships”.

A representative for Combs, who has gone by the names Puff Daddy, P Diddy, Diddy and Love, denied the claims, writing that the allegations were “offensive and outrageous” and came after Ventura demanded $30m from the mogul.

“Ms Ventura has now resorted to filing a lawsuit riddled with baseless and outrageous lies, aiming to tarnish Mr Combs’ reputation and seeking a pay day,” the statement reads.

A lawyer for Ventura told the New York Times that she was offered “eight figures to silence her and prevent the filing of this lawsuit”, which she rejected.

Emails seeking comment from Ventura’s representatives were not immediately returned.

The shocking lawsuit paints a dark picture of their relationship in which Combs gained control of her personal and professional life and subjected her to years of savage beatings, forced sexual encounters and the constant threat of violence.

Combs, a three-time Grammy winner, runs a business empire that includes everything from alcohol to music and has been a major hip-hop figure since founding Bad Boy Records in 1993, debuting and working closely with musicians like the Notorious BIG, Mary J Blige and Lil Kim.

Combs began aggressively pursuing Ventura, who signed with Bad Boy at age 19 and quickly catapulted to fame, the lawsuit states, inviting himself to a gathering for her 21st birthday where he forcibly kissed her, and immediately exerted his power and influence.

Due to Combs’ status as the founder of Bad Boy Records, the lawsuit alleges, Ventura felt she could not refuse his advances – or offers of drugs – without jeopardizing her career. He lured her into an “ostentatious, fast-paced, and drug-fueled lifestyle”, according to the lawsuit.

After they began dating, Combs took Ventura on “lavish” vacations, paid for apartments for her in New York and Los Angeles and gave her designer clothing and supplied her with drugs – a lifestyle the lawsuit says was designed to keep her “complacent and compliant”. He became controlling and abusive, according to the lawsuit, often punching, kicking and stomping her. He allegedly forced her to hold his guns in her purse on at least two occasions.

The now 54-year-old was allegedly prone to “uncontrollable rage” and forced Ventura to regularly “engage in sex acts with male sex workers” that he photographed and filmed. She was given drugs before and during, allowing her to “disassociate during these horrific encounters”, according to the suit. Ventura was a victim of sex trafficking as she was required to engage in forced sexual acts in multiple cities, the lawsuit states.

In 2015 Combs beat Ventura so severely that when his security guard and assistant saw her “two black eyes, a burst and bruised lip, and a huge welt on her forehead”, they began to cry, according to the lawsuit. She was routinely made to hide in hotels while her bruises healed, Ventura alleges.

Combs used his companies to further control her life, the lawsuit states, and though his “loyal network” witnessed his assaults, they were unwilling to do anything “meaningful to stop Mr Combs’s behavior”.

“Her volatile and abusive partner – who also owned her label and therefore held her future success in his hands – had fully exerted control over every aspect of her life,” the lawsuit stated.

He used the threat of further violence as well as his network to keep Ventura in the relationship anytime she tried to leave, according to the lawsuit. After she began a brief relationship with Kid Cudi in 2012, Combs allegedly blew up the rapper’s car. Kid Cudi confirmed Ventura’s account to the New York Times, saying: “This is all true.”

In 2016, the Bad Boy Management president, James Cruz, told Ventura that her single would not be released unless she answered phone calls, the lawsuit states.

By 2018, Ventura was desperate to end their relationship. After a dinner where she believed they would discuss the issue, Combs forced himself into her home and raped her, according to the lawsuit. Shortly after, she left the home, which he had paid for, returned the car he had bought her and separated herself completely.

The harms and trauma that she experienced have required “intensive medical and psychological care”.

“Ms Ventura therefore seeks justice for the decade of her life that Mr Combs took away from her with threats of violence, excessive use of drugs, physical and psychological abuse, and sexual slavery,” the lawsuit says.

The lawsuit seeks damages for lost wages as well as mental pain and severe emotional distress.

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs and singer Cassie settle abuse lawsuit one day after filing

Settlement to their ‘mutual satisfaction’ announced in a statement released on Friday evening without details being disclosed

Sean “Diddy” Combs and singer Cassie said on Friday that they have settled a lawsuit containing allegations of beatings and abuse by the music producer.

Combs, a hip-hop icon and the founder of Bad Boy Records, was accused of rape and abuse in a major lawsuit filed by Cassie, whose legal name is Casandra Ventura, that alleges he used his powerful network to keep her trapped in a violent relationship with him.

The settlement, one day after the lawsuit was filed, was announced in a release sent by attorney Douglas Wigdor, representing Ventura.

In his statement, Wigdor said: “I am very proud of Ms Ventura for having the strength to go public with her lawsuit. She ought to be commended for doing so.”

Ben Brafman, an attorney for Combs, did not immediately respond to a message seeking comment. On Thursday, he said Combs “vehemently denies” the allegations.

The release said they had reached a deal to their “mutual satisfaction” on Friday evening but no terms of the agreement were disclosed.

In a statement reported by NBC News on Friday, Cassie said, “I have decided to resolve this matter amicably on terms that I have some level of control. I want to thank my family, fans and lawyers for their unwavering support.”

In a separate statement, Combs said, “We have decided to resolve this matter amicably. I wish Cassie and her family all the best,” before adding, “Love.”

Properties belonging to rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs in Los Angeles and Miami were searched Monday by federal Homeland Security agents as part of an ongoing sex trafficking investigation by New York federal authorities.

The Department of Homeland Security confirmed on Monday that agents have raided properties in Los Angeles, Miami and New York that local news outlets have reported are tied to rapper and mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs.

NBC News and local stations in Los Angeles and Miami first reported the activity at Combs’s properties on Monday. Federal Homeland Security Investigations agents and other law enforcement were conducting searches of the properties as part of a sex trafficking investigation by federal authorities in New York, two law enforcement officials told the Associated Press.

It’s not clear whether Combs was the target of the investigation. The officials were not authorized to publicly discuss details of the investigation and spoke to the AP on condition of anonymity.

The exact reason for the raids remained unclear. “Earlier today, Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) New York executed law enforcement actions as part of an ongoing investigation, with assistance from HSI Los Angeles, HSI Miami, and our local law enforcement partners,” Homeland Security Investigations said in response to the Guardian’s questions about the reported raids. The department did not specify the target of the investigation.

The musician is facing multiple civil lawsuits over alleged sexual assault and sex trafficking. Last year, he settled a lawsuit from his former girlfriend, R&B singer Cassie, who accused him of physically and sexually abusing her for years. Another of Combs’ accusers alleges that Combs, along with two other men, raped her two decades ago, when she was 17. Producer Rodney Jones has also accused Combs of sexually assaulting him and forcing him to hire sex workers and perform sexual acts with them.

Combs has denied the allegations. In response to allegations that he raped a 17-year-old, Combs’s attorneys have filed documents calling for the lawsuit to be dismissed and stating that he “never participated in, witnessed, or was or is presently aware of any misconduct, sexual or otherwise, relating to plaintiff in any circumstance whatsoever”.

NBC reported that federal officials in Manhattan have interviewed people and are scheduled to interview sources in relation to allegations of sex trafficking, sexual assault and the solicitation and distribution of illegal narcotics and firearms, citing anonymous sources. A spokesperson for the US attorney’s office in Manhattan declined to comment.

Sean "Diddy" Combs, right, and Christian Combs perform at the Billboard Music Awards, Sunday, May 15, 2022

LOS ANGELES (AP) - A lawsuit that names Sean "Diddy" Combs as a co-defendant alleges that his son Christian "King" Combs sexually assaulted a woman working on a yacht chartered by his father.

The suit filed Thursday in Los Angeles Superior Court says Sean Combs created the circumstances that led to the assault and paid to cover it up afterward. It´s the latest in a series of lawsuits accusing the producer and music mogul of sexual misconduct, and it comes amid a federal sex trafficking investigation that led Homeland Security agents to raid his homes in Los Angeles and Miami last week.

Grace O'Marcaigh, who worked as a crew member and a bartender on the boat, says that in late December 2022, Christian Combs pressured her to drink tequila that she believes was spiked with other drugs. He groped her breasts and genitals and attempted to force her to perform oral sex, the suit alleges.

The Associated Press does not typically name people who say they have been sexually abused unless they come forward publicly, as O´Marcaigh has done. She also consented to being named through her attorneys.

Aaron Dyer, an attorney for Sean and Christian Combs, called the lawsuit "lewd and meritless."

"We will be filing a motion to dismiss this outrageous claim," Dyer said in a statement.

https://i.dailymail.co.uk/1s/2024/04...10_634x422.jpg

Dyer called the investigation that brought last week's raids "nothing more than a witch hunt based on meritless accusations made in civil lawsuits."

Sean Combs, who chartered the yacht throughout the holidays in 2022, "had full control of the staff and premises" and created circumstances where her assault was not only tolerated but encouraged.

O´Marcaigh, who was 25 at the time, said when Christian Combs, then 24, came aboard late one night, he appeared heavily intoxicated and began giving her inappropriate attention.

She said the two were in a music studio on board the ship, where producer Rodney Jones, who filed his own lawsuit in February, was told to be available around the clock for Sean Combs to work on his next album.

O´Marcaigh said in the suit that Christian Combs was insistent that she take shots of tequila, and she drank out of obligation.

The suit alleges he became increasingly aggressive with her, violently grabbing her arm as she tried to get out of the situation then groping her. The drinks made everything blurry, unusually quickly, the suit says.

Microphones in the studio, where Jones was told to capture everything, recorded their exchange, and the lawsuit includes a transcript where O´Marcaigh demands that Christian Combs stop touching her.

The suit alleges that he later continued the assault in the ship's movie theater, which was used as a spare sleeping area and where she was attempting to find a place to spend the night because the rooms were all taken, before another crew member appeared and he stopped.

O´Marcaigh told the yacht's captain about the assault the following morning, but she alleges that after Combs gave him a large amount of cash the same day, the captain failed to meaningfully investigate or take any action.

The suit says O'Marcaigh was eventually fired in retaliation and has since been unable to find work in the music industry where she had planned to build a career. It says since 2022, she has suffered severe emotional trauma.

The lawsuit seeks damages to be determined at trial.

Christian Combs is also a musical artist whose song "Can´t Stop Won´t Stop" with Kodak Black topped Billboard´s Mainstream R&B Hip-Hop charts in 2022. He was at his father's Los Angeles home during last week's searches, during which he and his brother were handcuffed but not arrested.

The producer Jones´ federal lawsuit, filed in February by Tyrone Blackburn, the same attorney as O´Marcaigh's suit, includes allegations that Sean Combs coerced him to solicit prostitutes and pressured him to have sex with them.

Dyer's statement said the newest lawsuit is "filled with the same kind of manufactured lies and irrelevant facts we´ve come to expect from Blackburn."

He pointed out that U.S. District Judge Denise L. Cote criticized Blackburn in a separate lawsuit on Wednesday and referred him to a disciplinary committee for a "pattern of behavior" where he "improperly files cases in federal court to garner media attention, embarrass defendants with salacious allegations, and pressure defendants to settle quickly."

Blackburn responded in an email that "a referral is not a sanction" and the statement from Combs' lawyer was an attempt to "deflect and distract."

"Christian Combs sexually assaulted Ms. O´Marcaigh, and we have it on tape," Blackburn said.

Several lawsuits have brought public scrutiny to the music and business mogul, beginning with a November suit from his former protege and girlfriend, the R&B singer Cassie, which alleged years of sexual abuse, including rape. It was settled the following day.

NASTY Combs and his attorneys have denied all of the lawsuits' allegations.

Combs, a three-time Grammy winner and the founder of Bad Boy Records, is among the most influential hip-hop producers and executives of the past three decades. He turned his hip-hop empire into a broader business empire that includes private-label spirits, fashion, and a TV network.

Rodney 'Lil Rod' Jones also filed a lawsuit against Combs back in February and accused him of sexually harassing, drugging and threatening him for over a year

The music producer also alleged the media mogul was sex trafficking and 'paying a monthly stipend' to a number of women including Ramey. The model refuted the claims and denied being a sex worker

Exactly what precipitated raids on Combs' properties on March 25 has yet to be disclosed

Cassie sued Combs last year alleging rape and a range of other offenses

Cassie was seen with multiple bruises just two days after she was brutally beaten by her ex Sean 'Diddy' Combs in an attack caught on video.

Shocking surveillance footage emerged on Friday of Diddy, 54, violently attacking Cassie, 37, in a Los Angeles hotel on March 5th of 2016.

Two days later, the then-couple appeared on the red carpet holding hands for the premiere of the movie The Perfect Match on March 7th.

Images unearthed by DailyMail.com show Cassie in two separate outfits that night, with what appear to be several bruises visible on her body.

The horrifying video, obtained by CNN, shows the rapper shirtless with a towel wrapped around his waist, chasing Cassie down the hall at the InterContinental Hotel in Century City.

As she tried to get into an elevator, he grabbed her by the back of the head and slammed her on to the ground.

He then kicked her as she lay on the ground motionless, before grabbing the two designer bags she'd tried to escape with.

Diddy stood over her, kicked her again, and then dragged her back to their room by the hoodie. In a statement to DailyMail.com today, Cassie's attorney Douglas Wigdor said: 'The gut-wrenching video has only further confirmed the disturbing and predatory behavior of Mr. Combs.

'Words cannot express the courage and fortitude that Ms. Ventura has shown in coming forward to bring this to light.'

Cassie sued Combs last year alleging rape and a range of other offenses.

They settled out of court in November for an undisclosed amount.

In a statement at the time, Cassie said: 'I have decided to resolve this matter amicably on terms that I have some level of control,' Cassie said in a statement.

'I want to thank my family, fans and lawyers for their unwavering support.'

VICIOUS Diddy Combs Loses $100MIL Default Judgment Over Sexual Assault Allegation

Hip-hop mogul failed to respond to lawsuit over alleged sexual assault on a man in Detroit in 1997 but denies knowing accuser

The Guardian 11 SEP 2024

https://i.guim.co.uk/img/media/bae09...0&dpr=1&s=none

A man who accused Sean ?Diddy? Combs of sexually assaulting him has won a $100m judgment after the rapper, music producer and businessman failed to contest the allegations in a civil courthouse in Michigan.

An attorney for Combs issued a statement denying that his client knows the plaintiff, Derrick Lee Cardello-Smith. The lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, said Cardello-Smith had committed ?fraud on the court? and that Combs ?looks forward to having this judgment swiftly dismissed?.

Lee Cardello-Smith, 51, secured the remarkably large judgment after filing a lawsuit that described how he encountered Combs while working in the restaurant and hospitality industry near Detroit.

According to the Detroit Metro Times, Cardello-Smith alleged that he was both drugged and sexually assaulted by Combs at a party in Detroit in 1997, just one claim amid a broader pattern of alleged sexual abuse and other misconduct by the three-time Grammy winner once also known as P Diddy, Puff Daddy and Love.

Cardello-Smith, who is incarcerated, eventually sued over the alleged attack and provided information showing Combs?s name in a prison visitation log. And at a preliminary 7 August court hearing conducted virtually, Cardello-Smith testified that Combs offered him $2.3m to drop his lawsuit, which would allow the music mogul to complete a property sale.

The plaintiff testified that Combs, 54, told him he would not acknowledge Cardello-Smith?s claims in court, saying: ?You know how we get down.? Cardello-Smith said he told Combs, ?Well, I disagree with how you get down,? and rejected the settlement offer.

Lenawee county circuit court judge Anna Marie Anzalone subsequently issued an order restraining Combs from selling off assets that could help him cover any damages possibly awarded to Cardello-Smith. Then, when Combs failed to appear at a virtual hearing in Cardello-Smith?s lawsuit on Monday, Anzalone awarded the plaintiff a default judgment of $100m, as the Metro Times first reported.

Plaintiffs receive default judgments in their favor when defendants fail to take action in response to cases brought against them.

https://i.dailymail.co.uk/1s/2024/09...5980882047.jpg

Court records show that Cardello-Smith is incarcerated at the Earnest C Brooks correctional facility after multiple previous convictions of criminal sexual misconduct as well as one of kidnapping.

The Metro Times reported that Cardello-Smith taught himself criminal and civil law during his incarceration while also developing ?a long history of challenging the judicial system? with lawsuits.

Sean 'Diddy' Combs denied bail after pleading not guilty to sex trafficking and racketeering charges

Hip-hop mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs has been denied bail after pleading not guilty in a sex-trafficking case.

A New York federal judge remanded the musician in custody after prosecutors argued he was a "serious flight risk".

Mr Combs, 54, was arrested on Monday evening, accused of running a criminal enterprise from at least 2008 that relied on drugs and violence to force women to "fulfill his sexual desires", according to prosecutors.

A 14-page indictment charges him with racketeering, sex trafficking by force, and transportation to engage in prostitution.

If convicted on all three counts, the rapper and record producer faces a sentence of 15 years up to life in prison.

He was wearing a black T-shirt and grey sweatpants during Tuesday's court appearance in Manhattan.

Asked by US Magistrate Judge Robyn Tarnofsky how he wished to plead, Mr Combs stood up and said: "Not guilty."

His lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, said the defence team had already launched an appeal against the judge's bail decision, with a hearing set for Wednesday.

"We believe in him wholeheartedly," Mr Agnifilo told reporters at the Manhattan court.

"He didn't do these things. There's no coercion and no crime. He's not afraid of the charges."

Mr Agnifilo said Mr Combs was the target of "an unjust prosecution".

Leonardo DiCaprio has distanced himself from Sean 'Diddy' Combs after a picture of him at one of the music mogul's notorious 'white parties' emerged.

A source close to the Hollywood actor, 49, said he hadn't had anything to do with Diddy 'for years.'

Combs, 54, was arrested last week and indicted in the Southern District of New York on charges of racketeering, sex trafficking and trafficking to engage prostitution.

The rapper is accused of forcing women into 'elaborate and produced sex performances', described as 'freak offs'.

A thousand bottles of baby oil were discovered during searches of his properties, it is claimed. And prosecutors allege women who participated in the freak offs were so worn out by the marathon sex sessions they needed IV drips after.

Combs SHOCKS Appearing With Gray Hair & Beard In Court

MailOnline 15 MAR 2025

https://s.yimg.com/ny/api/res/1.2/SA...e1758dfab55ec5

The hip-hop mogul appeared in the closed Manhattan courtroom with gray hair and a gray beard,

Combs was back in a New York court where he pleaded not guilty to new charges of forced labour and threatening employees who did not assist in his two decades of sex-trafficking scheme.

The 55 year old Combs, his beard noticeably grayer than even weeks ago, stood with his hands folded before him as he told Judge Arun Subramanian that he had read the indictment and understood the charges against him.

Combs, who has been held without bail since his September arrest, hugged two of his lawyers as he entered the courtroom and he blew kisses to family members and waved as he was led out by U.S. marshals afterward.

Subramanian told lawyers that questionnaires will be distributed to hundreds of prospective jurors at the end of April so that questioning of would-be jurors can begin on May 5, with opening statements expected to occur on May 12.

According to the indictment, Combs used the power and prestige he wielded as a music mogul to intimidate, threaten and lure women into his orbit, often under the pretense of a romantic relationship.

The indictment said he then used force, threats and coercion to cause victims, including three women specified in the court papers, to engage in commercial sex acts.

Part of the discussion in court Friday revolved around what will be allowed at the trial regarding a video that aired on CNN last year that showed Combs punching his former protege and girlfriend, the R&B singer Cassie, and throwing her on the floor in a hotel hallway.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Mitzi Steiner said the video was critical to the case.

Defense attorney Marc Agnifilo said the video was deceptive and not in accordance with the actions that took place.

Steiner also said the government was reluctant to share information about accusers who may testify in the case with defense lawyers until deadlines arrive that require the information to be turned over.

Combs attends Day 1 of 2023 Invest Fest at Georgia World Congress Center on August 26, 2023 in Atlanta

Rap superstar Combs forced women to take part in drug fuelled sex parties which went on for days while he filmed them, a court heard yesterday.

For decades, the music mogul ran a criminal enterprise built around trafficking victims, with his inner circle helping to cover up his offences, prosecutors told the opening of his trial in New York.

He once stamped on a girlfriends head, dangled one woman from a balcony and allegedly tried to set fire to another mans car, it was claimed.

The musician and businessman viciously attacked women who resisted taking part in the sex parties, known as Freak Offs, or otherwise upset him, jurors were told.

In a bombshell admission, Combs's lawyers told the court he had beaten up some of his girlfriends but insisted he was not guilty of sex trafficking.

They admitted he was kinky and that his conduct had been horrible, dehumanising and violent, but claimed it was all driven by jealousy and too many drugs.

Combs, 55, was once worth nearly $1billion and had a string of hits on his Bad Boy Records label in the 1990s, including his 1997 chart-topper with singer Faith Evans, I'll Be Missing You.

But in September last year, he was arrested months after an ex girlfriend, R&B singer Cassie Ventura, sued him for sexual assault in a civil case.

Prosecutor Emily Johnson said the trial would hear testimony from victims who will tell you about some of the most painful experiences of their lives. The days they spent in hotel rooms, high on drugs, dressed in costumes to perform the defendants sexual fantasies.

Opening the case, she told Manhattan Federal Court: This is Sean Combs. To the public, he was Puff Daddy or Diddy, a cultural icon, a businessman, larger than life. But there was another side to him, a side that ran a criminal enterprise.

During this trial, you are going to hear about 20 years of the defendants crimes. But he didnt do it alone, he had an inner circle of bodyguards and high ranking employees who helped him commit crimes and helped him cover them up.

Kidnapping, arson, drugs, sex crimes, bribery and obstruction. These are just some of the crimes the defendant and his inner circle committed again and again. You're going to hear about all of them during this trial.

Prosecutors described a horrific claim made by Ms Ventura, who said she was left feeling like she was choking when Combs allegedly made an escort urinate in her mouth during a Freak Off.

Ms Johnson also told the court about an incident where the rapper was on the hunt for Ms Ventura because she was seeing another man.

The prosecutor said: When he finally found her, he did what he had done countless times before he beat her brutally. Kicking her in the back and flinging her around like a rag doll. All of that violence was not enough though.

The defendant had to make sure he had control over Cassie once again so he threatened her. The defendant told Cassie that if she defied him again, he'd publicly release the video of her having sex with a male escort he kept as blackmail. Souvenirs of the most humiliating nights of her life.'

Singer Casandra Cassie Ventura, a former girlfriend of Sean Combs and a key witness in the federal sex trafficking and racketeering trial of the music mogul, returned to the witness stand in New York City on Wednesday morning and testified that Combs raped her, assaulted one of his employees, and detailed abuse she says occurred in their over decade long relationship.

Ventura, who is eight and a half months pregnant, began her second day of testimony by revisiting the hotel surveillance footage of her 2016 assault by Combs. She said Combs was yelling at her and then threw a vase at her in the elevator lobby.

I didnt get hit. I remember it hitting the wall. He was yelling at me and threw it at me, Ventura said, adding that Combs told her that I wasnt going to leave him there. That I couldn?t.

The jury was then shown two photos of Ventura, that she says she took of herself after the hotel assault where she is seen with a swollen lip. She said she also had a black eye beneath her sunglasses.

The jury was also shown text messages between Combs and Ventura after the assault, where she told him youre sick for thinking its OK to do what you did to me and told him that she had a black eye

Ventura was asked again about the various escorts she says she was forced to hire, with Combs money, to take part in increasingly extreme sexual scenarios over marathon sessions Combs called freak offs she has named more than a dozen since her testimony began on Tuesday.

That was just my job, really. It was expected of me, she said.

In a 2016 text message shown in court, Combs is seen asking Ventura to have a proper freak off without the use of ketamine. Combs claimed that a successful freak off was only when we remember, while Ventura noted that she preferred ketamine during freakoffs because it was very dissociative.

Combs would often threaten to release the videos he had of Ventura taking part in the freakoffs, she said. She noted that on her birthday one year, Combs reminded her of the videos he had in his possession after she refused to leave her friends to go with him to a freakoff.

I feared for my career, my family ? It is horrible and disgusting, no one should do that to anyone, she said. I felt trapped, she told the court. Whatever was going to not make him angry or threaten me I was going to do.

Ventura testified that she would ask Combs to delete videos of freakoffs that were on his phone and that he would tell her he did. She would later see the videos still on his phone.

Ventura said she experienced persistent urinary tract infections due to the constant freakoffs. but was still forced to take part even when the pain was horrible

After such sessions, Ventura said that she felt empty emotionally and gross. Sometimes, she said she would leave freakoffs if she felt unsafe, but would often return to the hotel room because Combs or one of his employees would find her and bring her back.

During some freakoffs Combs would hit me on the side of the head and kick Ventura, which she said would prompt escorts who could hear the violence occurring to ask her afterward if she was OK. She testified that its impossible to know how many freakoffs she took part in and said the number was in the hundreds

He brought the idea to me when I was 22 and would do anything for him and did, she said during her emotional testimony on Wednesday afternoon.

After their relationship ended in 2018, Ventura said that she never participated in a freakoff again. She said that same year, Combs raped her after they were supposed to have a closure conversation.

She said that they went for dinner, he brought her back to her home, and he came inside. He then raped me on the living room floor, she said while crying. I remember crying and saying no, she said. It was fast, his eyes were black, he wasnt himself, it was like somebody taking something from you. After that incident, she said that she and Combs were intimate voluntarily one other time.

On Combs violence outside the freakoffs, Ventura said there was an instance in 2013 when she was in her apartment and Combs tried to attack her. Her two friends, who were in the apartment at the time, jumped on his back to protect her. Combs was still able to throw Ventura down, cutting her eyebrow on the corner of her bed.

Combs took her to a plastic surgeons office in Beverly Hills to fix the cut Ventura later texted him a photo of the wound so you can remember

Ventura told the court that sometimes she fought back against Combs, but that fighting back would lead to escalating the fight, which sometimes made him more violent. Multiple employees of Combs saw him abusing her over the years, she said, including members of his security team, management and assistants.

Ventura even noted that one assistant told her that they quit because of how Combs treated her. She also said Combs, who is 17 years her senior and first met her when she was 19, would often show up unannounced to her apartment.

On Wednesday afternoon, Ventura said that Combs was violent with others as well as her, something the jury can expect to hear more about from later witnesses for the prosecution. She told the court that he would assault some of his employees, both male and female, and had also attacked friends of hers, including punching people and throwing them into furniture.

Diddys Trial: The VIOLENT Acts From Combs Reported at Sex Trafficking Trial

Kid Cudi Testifies Sean Diddy Combs Broke Into His Home at Sex Trafficking Trial

Scott Mescudi said his Porsche was set on fire with a molotov ****tail on day nine of Combs trial in New York

The Guardian 23 MAY 2025

https://i.guim.co.uk/img/media/bf7b5...none&crop=none

Kid Cudi right, arrives at Manhattan federal court for the trial of Sean Diddy Combs, in New York on Thursday.

Scott Mescudi, known as the rapper Kid Cudi, testified on Thursday in the federal racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking trial of music mogul Sean Combs, alleging that Combs broke into his home in 2011 after discovering that he was dating Combs girlfriend Casandra and told the court how a molotov ****tail was thrown at his car a few weeks later.

Combs, 55, faces charges of sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy and transportation to engage in prostitution. He was arrested in September, and has pleaded not guilty to all charges.

On Thursday morning, Mescudi took the stand and testified that he met Ventura in 2008. He said they briefly dated in 2011 and understood at the time that Ventura and Combs were no longer dating.

Mescudi recalled receiving a really stressed and scared call in December 2011 from Ventura saying that Combs had found out about their relationship.

The rapper said that he picked her up, and they went to a hotel. He and Ventura then spoke by phone with one of Combs employees, who also seemed very scared, and claimed that Combs and an associate were inside Mescudis home. The employee was waiting outside for them.

Mescudi said that he called Combs while driving home and asked if he was there. Combs allegedly replied: I just want to talk to you.

Mescudi said he told Combs: Im on my way, be right down, which Combs responded with: Im over here waiting for you.

When Mescudi arrived, Combs was not there, but Mescudi said that some items inside the house were out of place, and that his dog was locked in a bathroom.

He said he called the police and filed a police report about the apparent break in.

A month later, in January 2012, Mescudi said his dog watcher called to tell him that his car was on fire in the driveway. Mescudi received photos from a friend of his damaged car and said it looked like the top of my Porsche was cut open, and thats where the molotov ****tail was put in

The photos were shown to the jury.

After his car was damaged, Mescudi and Combs arranged a meeting at a Los Angeles hotel. Ventura also testified about this meeting last week.

Mescudi said, upon arrival, that Combs was standing there with his hands behind his back like a Marvel supervillain. During the meeting, Mescudi said that they talked about Mescudis relationship with Ventura and that Combs remained calm throughout the discussion.

At the end of the meeting, Mescudi and Combs shook hands before Mescudi asked Combs about his car. Combs allegedly responded: I don?t know what you?re talking about.

Several years later, in 2015, Mescudi ran into Combs again. Combs pulled him aside and apologized, allegedly telling Mescudi: I just want to apologize for everything and all that bull****.

Mescudi testified that he kind of found peace with the whole situation.

Mescudi also told the court that during their relationship, Ventura confided in him about physical abuse in her relationship with Combs that Combs would hit and kick her. Mescudi said that Combs treatment of Ventura bothered him.

Under cross examination, Mescudi said there was no damage to his Los Angeles home after the apparent breakin in 2011 and acknowledged that he had left the front door unlocked.

He also said that Combs never interrupted the time he spent with Ventura, and Mescudi agreed with a statement made by Combs lawyer that both he and Combs had been played by Ventura.

Mescudi said that he and Ventura broke up in December 2011, telling the court that the drama was too out of hand

Last week, Ventura testified over the course of four days about the years of physical and emotional abuse she endured by Combs during their 11year relationship.

Ventura mentioned her short lived relationship with Mescudi in December 2011, which she said occurred during a break in her relationship with Combs.

Ventura said Combs found out about the brief relationship near the end of 2011 during a so called freak off Combs saw an email on her phone between her and Mescudis assistant about bringing a toiletry bag to Mescudis house.

Ventura said that Combs became enraged, lunged at her with a wine bottle opener and later threatened to release explicit videos of her and harm both her and Mescudi, and told her that Mescudis car would be blown up

Ventura said that she ended her relationship with Mescudi soon after, citing safety concerns, and told the court that the next time she saw Mescudi was at a meeting at Soho House, where she, Combs and Mescudi met to discuss the relationship.

At the meeting, Mescudi allegedly asked Combs: What about my vehicle? to which Ventura said Combs replied: What vehicle?

The alleged threat of blowing up Mescudis car was first detailed in Venturas 2023 civil lawsuit against Combs, which alleged that Combs threatened to blow up Mescudis car after learning about the relationship, and that around that time, Mescudis car exploded in his driveway

The lawsuit suggests that Combs was responsible for blowing up Mescudis car, and stated that the incident left Ventura feeling terrified as she began to fully comprehend what Mr Combs was both willing and able to do to those he believed had slighted him

The disgraced music mogul, 55, was pictured in court sketches with his eyes wide open as defense attorneys surrounded him and discussed how they should proceed when jurors said they could not reach a verdict on racketeering conspiracy - the first and most controversial charge.

It applies to the claim that Diddy ran a criminal enterprise, aided by staff, to entrap and abuse women. The jurors cannot agree on whether or not it sticks, with jurors on both sides telling the court they are unpersuadable

They have reached a verdict on the four other charges sex trafficking and transportation for prostitution. Those four charges relate specifically to two women Cassie Ventura and another ex-girlfriend, who used the pseudonym Jane throughout.

Diddy could now spend the rest of his life in prison if convicted.

After a tense hearing on Tuesday, the judge ordered the jury back into deliberations to reach a verdict on Count 1.

50 Cent and P Diddy have a long running feud. Compares Diddy to Mafia Boss

Sean Diddy Combs has been found not guilty of sex trafficking his ex girlfriends through a decades long criminal enterprise. He was convicted on two counts of transportation for prostitution.

A jury cleared Combs 55, of three out of five federal charges including racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking.

The verdict is a partial victory for the music mogul, who has spent 10 months in federal prison vehemently denying the allegations.

As the verdict was handed down, the rapper turned to face his supporters, who clapped and cheered. Combs then knelt down in front of his chair and lowered his head.

Following the verdicts, Combs defence lawyer has asked that the rapper be realised on bail. In light of the fact that Mr Combs is no longer charged with sex trafficking... he should be released, Marc Agnifilo said.

Mr Agnifilo wants Combs to be released today and allowed to return to his Florida home. Prosecutors oppose Combs being released on bail

https://s.yimg.com/ny/api/res/1.2/Lx...7e2796749fdc5a

The lawyer of Cassie Ventura, an R&B singer and Combs former girlfriend who testified in court, responded to the verdict by saying her testimony had paved the way for him to be found guilty on two counts.

A jury of eight men and four women have sat through weeks of disturbing testimony describing alleged brazen and brutal beatings carried out by a man so powerful he was deemed untouchable.

As he left the courtroom, Combs turned to face his family and said: I'll be home soon. He added: I love you, baby and, I love you, Mom

The man who once called himself the king had his throne reduced to a chair at the defence table in the Lower Manhattan federal courtroom. During his 10 months at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, his previously dyed black hair and beard had grown out and turned white.

His prison issued jumpers a far cry from the black suit adorned with 600 Swarovski crystals and matching cape he wore in 2023.
