Saving Private Ryan's Tom Sizemore Dies at 61 After Suffering Brain Aneurysm

Tom Sizemore has died after the Saving Private Ryan actor's family were recommended an 'end of life decision' following his tragic brain aneurysm

Charles Lago, Tom's manager, broke the news, revealing the actor died on Friday in hospital in California. He was 61 years old.

Charles told TMZ: "It is with great sadness and sorrow I have to announce that actor Thomas Edward Sizemore (“Tom Sizemore”) aged 61 passed away peacefully in his sleep today at St Joseph’s Hospital Burbank. His Brother Paul and twin boys Jayden and Jagger (17) were at his side."

Charles had previously confirmed that the actor suffered the brain aneurysm on Saturday, February 18 – falling unconscious at around 2am.

In a heartbreaking health update, Charles then revealed that Tom would never had been able to recover from his critical condition after his hospital admission.

Charles informed fans on Monday 20 February: "Today doctors informed his family that there is no further hope and have recommended end of life decision."

"The family is now deciding end of life matters and a further statement will be issued on Wednesday," Charles admitted.

He added: "We are asking for privacy for his family during this difficult time, and they wish to thank everyone for the hundreds of messages of support and prayers that have been received.
