Hacker Putins KILL Llist-Russian Diplomats Expulsed From UK After Salisbury Spy Attack.

Vladimir Putin Issues New 'KILL Llist' - and Six of The Targets Live in Britain

EXCLUSIVE: The warning of a deadly post-pandemic campaign comes from same spy who alerted that Salisbury novichok victim Sergei Skripal was earmarked for assassination

Daily Mirror UK, 21 MAR 2021.

A sympathetic Russian intelligence officer says Putin has warned “long arms” will reach his enemies.

The warning of a deadly post-pandemic campaign comes from the spy who warned that Salisbury novichok victim Sergei Skripal was earmarked for assassination.

In a letter to one target, the officer says: “They are out to shut you up completely. Take the precaution of quickly changing your place of residence, even if only temporarily.”

The spook, who uses complex technology to avoid detection, is in the FSB – Russia’s equivalent of MI5.

The warning came after Russia was identified by PM Boris Johnson in last week’s defence review as the UK’s “most acute threat”.

One source said Putin is acting again now to shut down support for opposition leader Alexei Navalny, 44, who was last month sentenced to two-and-a-half years in a penal colony.

Trumped-up charges came after a failed murder bid.

A hit squad of FSB chemical warfare specialists sprinkled nerve agent on his underpants to kill him while he was on a plane.

Only swift action by the pilot in making an emergency landing saved Navalny’s life.

The Kremlin denies any involvement and the dissident returned to Russia after medical treatment in Germany.

Quoting two other targets, the FSB spy source said: “As for Chichvarkin and Ashurkov there is a plan to poison them with a substance similar to that used with the Skripals.”

The spy added that the SVR – Russia’s overseas intelligence service, known as “the Forest” – is tasked with eliminating Mikhail Khodorkovsky.

The source said: “A Forest plan exists to try to abduct him by injecting a special substance to knock him out.”

And the message says the orders came directly from President Putin with the words: “We have long arms. No scum can hide from us.”

There is also a warning that Russian special ops teams are gathering in Ireland ready to cross into Britain.

The source added: “Due to Covid almost all overseas operations were frozen. Now they are starting to activate them again.”

The FSB spy who is attempting to protect lives here puts messages on USB-drives and uses burner phones to alert contacts in Britain that the messages are waiting.

They are then automatically transmitted by unregistered email so no live communications can be monitored.

The spook warns of “wet ops” by the Kontora – spy slang for the FSB – being planned over the next two months. And the source adds: “As for sanctions by the West, the Kontora frankly does not care.”

At least two of the targets have informed police of the new hitlist.

Russia’s threat was highlighted in the 114-page integrated review of Britain’s foreign and defence policy.

Earlier this month an MI5 counter-intelligence officer named only as Tom used a Sky News podcast to broadcast a warning that the Kremlin is still taking “quite an active interest” in a number of people here.

He said: “We can’t prevent an incredibly well-resourced and ruthless adversary from getting something like novichok in.”

And he added that Moscow is now keen to restart intelligence operations from its London embassy after the UK expelled 23 spies in the wake of the 2018 Salisbury attack on ex-double agent Skripal, 69, and daughter Yulia, 37.

They survived but innocent Dawn Sturgess, 44, died when she came into contact with dumped poison.

AT RISK AND IN BRITAIN

Vladimir Ashurkov

Vladimir Ashurkov, 49, was forced to step down as an investment banker in Russia because of links to Navalny. He is now director of Navalny’s Anti-Corruption Foundation and was granted asylum by Britain in 2015. He told the Mirror: “I have no doubt Russian security services are capable of executions anywhere in the world. There are at least 10 unexplained deaths in the UK. I feel safer on the streets of London than in Moscow, but nothing can ensure total safety. Several of our people are under house arrest in Russia. I just hope UK authorities are working to prevent any more assassinations

Mikhail Khodorkovsky

Mikhail Khodorkovsky, 57, is a Siberian oil field billionaire now living in exile in London. He was charged with fraud in 2003 and Putin froze shares in his companies – though Khodorkovsky has rebuilt much of his fortune. Amnesty International declared him a prisoner of conscience and he was released from jail in 2014 after serving eight years. He came to Britain the following year and relaunched Open Russia, dedicated to free and fair elections. He said: “If Putin wants to kill me no bodyguards will help. I am a well-known opponent of Putin.”

Evgeny Chichvarkin

Evgeny Chichvarkin, 46, became Russia’s richest man aged under 35 – worth £1.1billion. He made his fortune after founding the country’s largest mobile phone retailer, Yevroset. Chichvarkin reportedly picked up Alexei Navalny’s medical bills when he was treated in Germany following the poison murder bid. He now runs Hedonism Wines in central London and the upmarket Mayfair private dining rooms Hide – where the most expensive wine costs a staggering £26,000 a bottle. Chichvarkin did not respond to requests for comment.

Boris Karpichkov

Boris Karpichkov, 62 is a former major in the FSB and its predecessor the KGB. He defected to Britain in 1998 bringing two suitcases of secrets with him. Karpichov survived two attempts to poison him when he was making a visit to New Zealand. He said: “We are keen to get our names out there. It might prompt the police to give us more protection. “And it makes it more difficult for Putin to deny responsibility if one of us is killed. Going public is the only way to stay alive.”

Bill Browder

Bill Browder, 56 is a long-standing Putin critic and no stranger to death threats. Like Steele, he was allegedly marked down for execution with Sergei Skripal in 2018. The financier works with the Hermitage Fund, at one time the largest foreign portfolio investor in Russia. He was deported in 2005 and declared a threat to Russian security. He told us: “This needs to be taken very seriously. Putin tried to kill Navalny with novichok and anyone on Putin’s hitlist, including me, must take precautions. Putin is not constrained by any moral or geographical boundaries.”

Christopher Steele

Christopher Steele, 56, is a former MI6 officer who is now running the private intelligence firm, Orbis Business Intelligence.

He angered President Putin by making unsubstantiated claims of Russian spies holding compromising videos of ex-US President TRUMP cavorting with prostitutes.

Orbis boss Arthur Snell said: “OBI takes seriously the security of its staff.”
And he added: “While we are not political activists, we admire Alexei Navalny for his courage in the face of outrageous persecution.”

Spy Poisoning: Russian Diplomats Leave UK in Expulsion After Salisbury spy attack.

Russian diplomats and their families have left the UK in an expulsion following the Salisbury spy attack.

BBC News 16 DEC 2022.

Diplomatic vehicles drove them from the embassy in London to Stansted Airport, where they boarded a plane to Moscow.

The UK expelled 23 diplomats after Prime Minister Theresa May said Russia was "culpable" for the poisoning of Sergei Skripal and his daughter.

The government decided on Tuesday not to impose further sanctions on Russia for now.

However, at a meeting of the National Security Council, Mrs May said: "There are other measures that government and security officials are actively considering and stand ready to deploy at any time."

Strict checks by border officials on private flights have been introduced as the UK increases efforts to monitor and track those entering the country, Mrs May's spokesman added.

Moscow has denied all involvement, and is expelling 23 British diplomats in response. The UK diplomats have until Saturday to leave Russia.

The Kremlin is also closing down both the British Council in Russia, which promotes cultural ties between the nations, and the consulate in St Petersburg.

The Russian foreign ministry, meanwhile, has invited all foreign ambassadors in Moscow to a meeting on Wednesday to clarify the Russian position on the Skripal affair, the Russian news agency Interfax has reported.

The Russian Embassy in London said around 80 people - including the Russian intelligence officers and their families - were due to leave the UK on Tuesday, the deadline given by Mrs May.

A small crowd gathered outside the embassy and waved goodbye to people carrying suitcases, children and pets as they boarded vehicles.

Russian ambassador to the UK Alexander Yakovenko tweeted: "Today we bid farewell to our colleagues heading home after the hostile move of the UK Government, and wish them all the best in their careers."

Around Russian 80 nationals were aboard the plane heading for Moscow

The BBC's diplomatic correspondent James Robbins said launching further measures "risks an endless tit for tat with the Kremlin".

But "not to do so risks accusations of weakness from some quarters," he added.

Police Appeal

Meanwhile, drivers or cyclists who captured video footage near the home of a murdered Russian businessman Nikolai Glushkov on 11 March or 12 March are being asked to contact police.

Mr Glushkov was found dead from apparent "compression to his neck" at his home in New Malden, south-west London last week.

Russian former military intelligence officer Sergei Skripal, 66, and his daughter Yulia, 33, remain critically ill in hospital after being found slumped on a bench and unconscious on 4 March.

They had been exposed to a nerve agent of a type developed by Russia called Novichok, the UK government claims.

More than two weeks on from the attack, the head of counter-terrorism policing in the UK, Met Police Assistant Commissioner Neil Basu, said the focus of the Salisbury investigation is "on the movements of the Skripals".

Sergei Skripal, 66, and his daughter Yulia, 33, are in a critical condition in hospital

Officers are trawling through 4,000 hours of CCTV footage and have already taken 400 statements with more to come.

"It is going to take weeks, possibly months," Mr Basu told BBC Radio 4's Today programme, adding: "This is going to be frustrating for people."

Meanwhile, following a phone call between Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and Mrs May, Downing Street said Japan condemned the Salisbury attack and "shared our outrage".

The leaders of France, Germany and the US have already pledged support for the UK in a joint statement and the EU offered its "unqualified solidarity".

EU leaders will meet at a summit in Brussels on Thursday to discuss any potential response to Russia.

Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn said the UK must still deal with Russia despite "all fingers" pointing to it over the Salisbury spy attack.

He said he would "do business" with Russian President Vladimir Putin but assertively and on the basis of the UK's values.

Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson previously said it is "overwhelmingly likely" that President Putin ordered the nerve agent attack. Russia said the accusations were "shocking and unforgivable".

Mr Skripal, a retired military intelligence colonel, came to the UK in 2010 after being released from prison in Russia.

He had been jailed in Moscow in 2006 for spying for Britain and passing the identities of Russian secret agents in Europe to MI6, the UK's Secret Intelligence Service.

His daughter, Yulia, flew into the UK from Russia on 3 March, the day before she and Mr Skripal were found on a bench near The Maltings shopping centre in Salisbury, Wiltshire.
