The plane despatched out a squawk code, which is used to offer efficient communication between air site visitors management and plane. 7700 is probably the most nicely know of those codes and it’s used to point an emergency. The character of the emergency remains to be unclear.

In accordance with radarbox.com, the Boeing KC-135R Stratotanker took off from the RAF Mildenhall air station in Holywell Row, UK, at 05:36 am at the moment (Wednesday).
