Movies re: FINAL Report on Schumachers' Health as Brother Ralf Speaks Out

Michael Schumachers' Wife Selling F1 Legends' £6.4m Mansion' as He Continues Recovery

Corrina Schumacher - who has been married to Formula 1 legend Michael since 1995 - has put the couple's 20,000 square-metre home on the banks of Lake Geneva up for sale

Daily Mirror UK.13 MAY 2021.

The enormous residence is on the banks of Lake Geneva

Corinna Schumacher, the wife of Formula 1 legend Michael, has reportedly put the couple's palatial home in Switzerland on the market.

The 20,000 square-metre farmhouse is on the banks of Lake Geneva and has been listed at £6.4million - over double the £3m the Schumachers paid for the property in 2002.

Corinna is understood to have relocated as her husband continues to be treated for the brain injury he suffered in a devastating skiing accident eight years ago.

Now based in a £27million mansion in Majorca formerly owned by Real Madrid president Florentino Perez, she has put the Swiss home up for sale.

As reported by German magazine Bunte , the sprawling residence has been described as "an exceptional property in a quiet and protected location".

The report adds the Schumachers were waited on by housekeepers and protected by bodyguards when living there, while Corinna - a decorated rider - kept horses in the grounds.

The property features the main residence, a guest house and an office where Schumacher himself worked.

Updates on the German icon are few and far between but Jean Todt - who managed Schumacher during his time at Ferrari - spoke about him in December last year.

"I saw Michael last week. He is fighting," said Todt, who is now president of the FIA.

"My god, we know he had a terrible and unfortunate skiing accident which has caused him a lot of problems.

"But he has an amazing wife next to him, he has his kids, his nurses, and we can only wish him the best and to wish the family the best, too.

"All I can do is to be close to them until I am able to do something, and then I will do it."

Todt added: "He has been treated so that he can be able to return to a more normal life."
