PhOtOs -Tyson Fury/Wladimir Klitschko World Title Fight in Sept 2015
Tyson Fury's World Title Fight with Wladimir Klitschko Could be Held at The Emirates after Chelsea Withdraw Offer
Frank Warren is still fighting for home advantage for Tyson Fury in his blockbuster heavyweight world title fight with Wladimir Klitschko. The withdrawal of Chelsea’s offer to stage the summer spectacular appeared to indicate that Klitschko would secure, as usual, the right to defend all his belts in his adopted Germany. Warren, however, is close to securing an option on another major London football ground, believed to be The Emirates home of his beloved Arsenal FC. Tyson Fury is set to fight Wladimir Klitschko this summer and hopes to get the fight in London Klitschko will put his heavyweight belts on the line when he faces Fury this summer Promoter Frank Warren is hoping to stage the fight at The Emirates on September 5 Negotiations for Klitschko mandatory defence of his WBO belt appears certain to go to purse bids, which would give the giant Ukrainian 80 per cent of the income. Team Klitschko are working on a date in Germany but Warren has identified September 5 for an open air event in London. That coincides with an England international week, which would leave the Saturday clear of Premier League fixtures in the capital. The odds still favour Klitschko dictating the terms but Warren says: ‘We still have a chance of bringing Wladimir to London. We still live in hope.’
