Masters 2012 Tee Times: A Look Ahead to Start Times for Clubhouse Leaders

The world's No. 3 player in the world, Lee Westwood, is your leader after Round One of The Masters at Augusta National Golf Club.

On a day that saw many of the top players in the world—and tournament favorites—struggle trying to decipher the course, Westwood shot a five-under-par 67 and holds a one shot lead.

Westwood—who is looking for his first major title—has been in the lead before at Augusta. As a matter of fact Westwood was the 54-hole leader here in 2010 before losing to Phil Mickelson.

He has led in many rounds in the majors, but it's the first time in his career that Westwood holds the lead after an opening round in a major.

He scorched the front nine today with a four-under 32 that saw him birdie four straight holes starting on the fifth hole. There is still a long way to go before declaring him the winner this year, but this is a very auspicious start for him.

The 2010 Open champion Louis Oosthuizen, has never made the cut in three previous tries here. His best round had been a one-over 73 in 2009.

Today he shot a four-under 68 and is tied for second place with Sweden's Peter Hanson. He also didn't make the cut on his previous try last year.

They are two refreshing surprises near the top of the leaderboard.

Bubba Watson is among the six players tied for for third at three-under and four more players, including major winners Vijay Singh, Jim Furyk and Zach Johnson, are tied for 10th at two-under.

Fifteen players are at one-under including Rory McIlroy who started with a double-bogey today and saw his drive stray right on the 10th hole. But he finished with back-to-back birdies and is within four of the lead.

PGA Champion Keegan Bradley is also at one-under.

Four-time Masters champion Tiger Woods started his round with two terrible drives—one resulted in an unplayable lie. But he was able to close at even-par for the day along with 15 other players.

Among the players at even-par are a contingent of top players including defending champion Charl Schwartzel, Hunter Mahan, Justin Rose, Webb Simpson, Sergio Garcia, Martin Kaymer and Bill Haas.

Two surprising disappointments were the world's No. 1 Luke Donald and three-time Masters champion and one of the favorites to win Phil Mickelson.

Donald shot a three-over 75 and looked lost all day on the course. The course played long all day and this seemed to have affected him.

Mickelson shot a two-over 74 and was terrible off-the-tee. He hit only four fairways all day and looked to be scrambling on every single hole. Still, he managed to close with two birdies in four holes and with a good round tomorrow could be contending on the weekend.

A total of 44 players are within five shots of Westwood and one important thing to consider for tomorrow is the weather forecast.

As of 5:00 p.m. ET today, showers and embedded storms were moving toward the Augusta National Golf Club, but all groups were able to finish the round as the weather held clear.

The Augusta National Golf Club is under a Severe Thunderstorm Watch until 9:00 p.m. ET. It's quite possible that there will be showers in the morning as well, but they should clear by mid-day.

Many of the leaders have their tee times in the morning, so it will be interesting to see how this could affect the other players who have their tee times during the morning.

The opposite is quite possible; it could benefit the ones that start in the afternoon.

Some of the players who could benefit from their afternoon tee times include Schwartzel and Bradley (1:31 p.m.), Woods (1:42 p.m.) and Donald (1:53 p.m.)
