UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva turned 36-years-young last week. Before the baddest 185-pounder in bare feet decides to call it a career, fans are dying to see Silva participate in a couple of super fights.
The two names that currently sit atop fanboys’ wish lists are scraps with UFC light heavyweight champ Jon Jones and UFC welterweight king Georges St-Pierre. While both shootouts would likely produce instant classics, Silva has taken the potential contest with Jones completely off the table.

“No way, he is in another category,” Silva told R7 Esportes. “We’re friends and we will not face [each other].”

Silva even arranged a movie date with “Bones” over the weekend on Twitter. The two will meet up at the Tribeca Film Fest in New York this week to screen the debut of Silva’s “Like Water” documentary.

Although “The Spider” looked flawless in his only two light heavyweight appearances inside the Octagon, it appears he isn’t interested in relocation at this stage of his illustrious career. However, that doesn’t mean Silva has a problem with GSP entering his kingdom.

“Georges St-Pierre – yes, [we] have a chance to fight,” Silva stated. “Everything will depend on our results. Depends on if he wins at UFC 129 and I win in August. Perhaps then, this fight can happen.”

Speaking of Silva’s next challenge, he gets his long-awaited rematch against Yushin Okami later this summer. The Japanese star took a controversial disqualification win over Silva at “Rumble on the Rock 8″ courtesy of an illegal up-kick to Okami face.

While Silva has had the bitter taste of defeat lingering on his pallet for over four years, he swears this is just another fight for him. In fact, it’s business as usual for the Brazilian.

“I’ll face Okami, but I’m not looking for revenge. I’m going there to do my job,” Silva flatly stated. “It is a great opportunity because the UFC is back to Brazil. The fight is very important for me and for him.”

Silva puts his strap on the line against Okami at “UFC 134: Rio” on August 27th.
