Inside David and Victoria Beckham's Extravagant £31.5million West London Home

After splurging an estimated £8million on renovations, the couple have created a palace fit for the Beckhams

They're known for their stylish dress sense and lavish tastes.

So it's no surprise that the Beckhams have sparred no expense when it comes to decorating and furnishing their luxury west London home.

David and Victoria bought their sprawling Holland Park townhouse for £31.5million in September 2013 after moving back to the UK from Los Angeles.

They wasted no time in extensively renovating and redesigning the detached, stucco-front home, which is Grade II-listed.

They spent an estimated £8million on transforming the house into their dream home, first enlisting the skills of interior design Kelly Hoppen, before replacing her with Rose Uniacke, dubbed 'the Queen of Serene'.

During the building work, the family lived in a rented house on the same road, before finally moving in over summer 2016.

The Beckhams submitted a whopping 50 planning applications, which can be common with listed buildings, and successfully battled one neighbour's objection to installing air conditioning in five rooms.

Since they've been residing in their London home, David and Victoria and their children regularly give their millions of fans a look at their comfortable and stylish abode.

The six-bedroom house was built in the mid-19th century, with the seventh bedroom being converted into a dressing room and beauty room for David and Victoria's extensive wardrobe.

The front of the house is typical of Holland Park villas with its wrought-iron canopy over the front door and black and white tiles. Paparazzi are kept at bay with lots of green plants and a wrought-iron fence.

Entering the hall, you are greeted with a beautiful black and white marble floor, with a winding iron staircase leading to the upper storeys.

Victoria regularly showcases her outfits on the picture-perfect entrance hall in her photos.

Staying true to the property's earlier Victorian period, the hallway features wall-mounted lighting, antique mirrors and chandeliers on the landing.

The Beckhams reguarly pose for family photos in the front drawing room, which features a stunning, cream marble fireplace, large wooden dining table and velvet-covered benches.

Retired footballer Becks is quite the budding cook and often poses for pictures in their kitchen, which features all the mod cons, including a large island and double gas hob.

The couple have opted for classic copper saucepans, a family-sized Dualit toaster and a £2,700 Fracino Contempo Coffee Machine

The house appears to have been decorated in mostly neutral colours, with the family often seen reclining on white sofas in their sitting room - a brave choice with young children in the house.

While the Beckhams have largely hidden their bedrooms from the cameras, Victoria has shown off their large dressing room and beauty room, where she gets ready for the red carpet with her glam squad.

The second and third floors feature bedrooms for their four children Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and Harper and a small sitting room - presumably for the children to entertain their friends.

Meanwhile, the basement features a gym, study and wine cellar, while their small garden has lots of greenery to create a small city escape.
