Thanks for the pics and the website. Did your family enjoy it? any creepy things happen? Who lives in the house now or is it a Museum?

They do flashlight tours at night on Friday the 13th and in October. The tour guide at night asked us to wait a moment and to stay where we were then she went in to another room. She didn't say anything at first, but I asked her if she needed help with something and she said she had seen someone in the other room, but there was no one there. I guess that could be considered creepy. I didn't see it though. There has been occurrences of people seeing people and things in there though. No one lives in there now, but at the time Sarah and her hired servants lived there. As you read, she just kept building to keep the spirits at bay.

As I may have explained before, I am Irish and the seventh child of a seventh child and I do have the "gift". I used to have it very strongly but had it blessed out of me because I couldnt take that even when I touched people I would know about them and their problems and even looking at the outside of a house I would know if the people living there had problems. After I fractured my skull and lost my memory for a year, and suffered brain damage, when the long term memory came back somewhat, the "gift" returned, but not as strongly as before.

I have had some very strong experiences of spirits, the worst was when I was at a training college, and myself and some other students and an instructions experienced an evil spirit, who tried to harm some of us by putting pressure on our whole bodies to stop us moving or calling out. When it happened to me I started to pray and the pressure lifted and the room was icy cold. The other 3 students in the dorm room with me all experienced it at the same time. It was pretty scary I can tell you. But I blamed the students, as they wanted to cheat on their exams and used a oujia board to call on spirits to help them with the questions on the exams. Despite my warnings this was very dangerous, they continued and the hauntings were the result.

Then once when I was with my family on holiday in Scotland, we went underground to see the "old" city of Edinburgh and ‘Mary Kings Close’. This had been closed up when all the residents that had the plague were put inside that area and it was sealed up to prevent the plague spreading. It had been closed for many many years, but had recently been reopened to the public whilst we were there. In fact the reopening was so new that they didnt even have tour guides organised and we could go in for free. Now it has been commercialised and its very expensive to have access on a guided tour.

Man that was something else, as we did the tour I experienced some things and on each event I told the guide what I was experiencing and in which room and exact position of what was happening and who was "there". The guide investigated and found out that what I had explained, had been reported before by some others with the "gift".

Folk should never mess with these things, it is extremely dangerous and should only be handled by experienced people who have the power and white gift to deal with it.

The oujia board opens up a portal to the other side and the evil stronger spirits get "through" first.

I will definately be visiting Sarah's house, when I have the money to do so.

Here are some links about Edinburgh and ‘Mary Kings Close’, which is very close to Edinburgh's castle

http://www.realmarykingsclose.com/about-mary-kings-close/about-the-close.aspx

http://www.edinburgh-royalmile.com/history/the-plague.html

http://www.edinburgh-history.co.uk/edinburgh-city-history.html

We also explored some others of those underground "closes" that had been closed up. Very creepy indeed. I would not recommend anyone taking their younger children to see them. They are very dark, dank and very unpleasant, but fascinating just the same. We also visited the haunted graveyard and tombs close by at night. You can volunteer to be closed up in a tomb for a short period. Some smart axxes that were there for a laugh stepped forward and were "entombed" for 5-10 mins. Boy were they different people when they came out. Quiet, pale and they headed off to a nearby pub as soon as they came out.

This is a NO NO for those of weak disposition and they refuse to allow you to go on the tours if you have any health issues, especially heart conditions..... for a damn good reason.

:woohoo:

When we are children we have many gifts that as some of us get older, we block. My son had the power when he was younger and we used to commute telepathically, unfortunately as he got older it left him or maybe he chose to not use it any more. But his was so strong that one day he was sitting with me when a car pulled up and he asked me who was in the orange car.........you couldnt see the car from where we were sitting. :woohoo:

There is more I can do but its too evil and I choose not to use those powers. Thats why I am so close to to the Almighty, you would not believe in the career I used to have, just how much evil there is out there in the world today, and how much I have seen.

I dont believe Sarah has passed over into the light, she put too much into that house and doesnt want to leave it. I would try to make contact with her if ever I get the chance to visit her house.

Very interesting discussion DMan you should visit more haunted places on your next vacation and let us know all about them. Much more interesting that Disneyland. :crap:

Thanks for the links Dman My Uncle used to go to ppl's houses to bring out spirits (ghosts) and talk to them, they were often dead people/animals that haven't fully crossed over, just telling them everything is ok, but your scarying the other people living here, Then would ask ghost are you ready to let go and cross over or stay and protect those living here?

If spirit wanted to stay he would then reassure the folks living in the house that they are being watched over and to offer spirit a lit candle as a thanks.

And while living and working at a funeral parlour @ 15 I used to see heaps of ghosts leaving there bodies. It's very fascinating, but scared the crap out of me when I saw the first one I thought I was going to die and ran back to the house to tell my uncle, he said where did it appear from I said the 3rd coffin 1st row, he said well thats the coffin she will get then.

Thats the lite side of it all.

No problem Pop. I haven't seen one yet, but I know some are more sensitive to it.

Sorry pop but I disagree, NO spirit should be allowed to continue, they all must cross over and the good ones usually do, the only ones that are likely to want to stay are evil and should be removed for the safety of those still alive.

Yes I have seen and experienced spirits, and also evil bad ones that tried to harm me, the good ones that have crossed over, will have a way to warn you if something bad is going to happen, or if you nearly make a wrong decision in your life

For your info I am the 7th child of a 7th child and I used to have a very strong "gift", but had it blessed out of me, since my skull fracture and brain injury it came back somewhat. But weak enough that I can control it, but it cant control me

I repeat what I said before, no-one should mess with this stuff.

When it comes to spirits and the ghost world I guess I'm a Doubting Thomas. Just never was sensitive to it. A place I lived at before, I was told that indians (as in American Indian kind) would stop in the bedroom at night, look around, and proceed on as if on a trail. Not always the same one. I personally never saw it.

You know what PS, I believe very much in the power of American Indians and I think that is why there are so many haunted houses etc in the US, as they were built on Indian burial grounds..... :crap:

Good idea LBB. I would have to see a ghost to believe it, but guess I could be called a doubter. I am open to it, just not sure I'll ever see one. I do believe that others have seen or believe they have seen them.

I believe every child is born with the a gift of some strength its how you bring them up with it. My lil baby daughter when I had her full time before her mother kidnap her, ,,would crawl over to the window and pull herself up to look out and talk in her baby jibberish 5 minutes before anyone was coming to visit or sell something. So I got used to that "warning" to tidy up. She is 19 now and has come thru to me twice, one night around midnight while I was making little spinach quiches and I felt someone in the room with me and just turned around to see who the hell was there and it was her crying like a help I'm in trouble...then off she went. This upset me not knowing what to do or where she was, but my mum knew so I asked her to ring her since I wasn't allowed to ...Grrrr, but mum said she is fine. Of course she would say that not wanting to alarm or talk to mum about anything. I just wish I wasn't so drunk at the time as this all happens in a split second.

By the way LBB whats a 7th child born to a 7th child? I have googled it yet. I'm a 24 7 number if you know what that means?

re: PHOTOS-Ghosts & Haunted Places -Discussion

Sorry I meant a 22 4 number Here is just a little bit of what it means.

The 22/4 is a master number and the highest of the numbers in this system of numerology. The 22/4 is the most powerful of the numbers. All the life numbers are equally important and have important roles to play, however the 11/2 and 22/4 are the most powerful energies to live with.

You have the greatest potential to be truly successful in your life. The 22/4 is known as the (spiritual) master builder. Its energy is different to that of the numbers 1 – 9 although it also possesses the characteristics of the 4 life path. With a 22/4 life path, you have enormous dreams the and vision to create something huge and everlasting in the physical world that will last for centuries after your death and leave behind a legacy for you. You dream of making an important difference with your physical manifestations and creation for all humanity.

This creation will benefit humanity, most likely in a spiritual way. You have the greatest ability, out of all the numbers, to create and manifest your visions and ideas into the physical world. You could, however, choose not to make use of your great power and ability to create and manifest something huge in this world and slip into obscurity achieving less than your great potential. You have great ideals and vision and you need to inspire others to assist you with your dreams and vision. You need to draw together collective forces which will bring together the elements needed for your great goals. You are a visionary, with your feet on the ground.

You have great ability in business and politics and have a natural understanding of large institutions. You would do well working in large institutions on an international scale. You are gifted with unususal common sense and grounding and have the ability yo see the beauty and potential of any idea. Putting the two together, you are practical, realistic, grounded but can see the beauty, benefits and potential of any given idea. Although the 22/4 is an extremely promising energy, it is also the most demanding to live up to. Your ambition is so great that it is difficult to keep up with yourself.

You are practical and down to earth. You have a great sense of what is “right” and “wrong” in life. You are systematic, controlled and organized. Routine and schedules are most likely an integral part of your life. Your day-to-day life is one of structure, routine and discipline. You are an extremely hard worker and probably even a workaholic. Your attention to detail is a gift and you use this in your work and daily life. You are precise, persistent and do not give up easily. You work hard to establish a strong “foundation”. Security in your life is important. “Get rich quick” schemes and the likes are not your idea of attracting wealth. You need to guard against being too rigid and unwilling to try new ideas and ways of doing things. There is a strong likelihood of falling into a rut with a 4 life path. You need change!

If you are a number 22 person you’ll find the most fulfillment working on a higher plane to help people. Look out for careers in missionary or charity work, politics, being in charge of large organizations, and philanthropy.

In numerology 22 is a great influence and a little extra something special for number four people to have. Make sure you encourage a number four to use their skills and abilities to help as many people as possible. This will help others, as well as helping the number four people find their greatest satisfaction in life.

The Spooky Irish Ghost Town of Bantry, North Dakota (PHOTOS)

http://www.irishcentral.com/images/M...a-old-hall.jpg

Irish place names in the US: Bantry, North Dakota. US. Andrew Flier/Creative Commons

It sets the scene for many horror movie - an abandoned, run-down, old town with buildings shuttered up and all of the residents having fled to safer pastures. A place appearing empty until some poor group of friends with a broken-down car discovers the real reason why the town has been abandoned and so begins the terror and murder.

Well, we can't say that this is exactly true of the town of Bantry in North Dakota, but we certainly wouldn't like to be left wandering alone there at night!
The small town called Bantry sits in the northern part of McHenry County, North Dakota, which was founded in 1873 and named for James McHenry, an early settler in the area and the son of an Irish immigrant.

Bantry was founded in 1905, by all accounts by Irish immigrants, who named it after Bantry, Co. Cork.

The Bantry in Ireland is a seaside town on Ireland’s south-west coast by Bantry Bay. Its name in Irish, Beanntraí, translates to "(place of) Beann's people." Today its population is a little over 3,000

Bantry, North Dakota is a different story. According to Ghosts of North Dakota, a blog that explores the state’s many ghost towns – old pioneer settlements whose populations dwindled over the years until there was barely anything left – Bantry is today a ghost town, or very close to it.

As they explain, “According to North Dakota Place Names by Douglas A. Wick, Bantry peaked at a population of 315 in 1920.”

Bantry’s population petered out rapidly from then on, with a population of 93 by 1960, 23 by 1980, and a mere 14 people in 2010 according to the US Census.

Ghosts of North Dakota paid a visit to Bantry and photographed its abandoned, shuttered buildings, including the old bank and church.

But it seems that Bantry is still very much alive in people’s memories. The website’s comment section is full of messages from people who grew up in Bantry or had relatives who lived there, recalling the old days and the local gathering spot called Frank’s Bar.

The Most Evil Place on Earth!
Chateau des Amerois’ (Mother of Darkness Castle)

" This castle must be one of the most evil and darkest buildings on this planet ! "

Known as Chateau Amerois ( Castle of Kings ) which has incidentally another name, the Mother of Darkness Castle or;

The " place of a thousand points of Light " that George Bush Snr made an allusion to in his inaugural speech,

Surely a secret in joke to his darkest of political backers !!

It is reported as being a place essential to the elites of the Illuminati of Dan Brown fame, a veritable hub of Satanical practice and enrollment of future members.

It was formerly owned by the Saxe Gotha Coburg family which you might know more as the;

" Windsor's " or the British Royal Family.

But they sold it on to a family who are the wealthy owners of the SOLVAY GROUP inventor,s of Prozac and industrial scale producer,s of Fluoride which is added to all the water that you drink !

It was also the center of one of Belgium,s biggest ever Pedophiles scandals when a " person " known as Mark Dutroux was arrested for organizing orgies and sacrifices of children in Satanical rights where many of Europe's wealthy elites were known to be present, invited to share and enjoy !!

The case was soon shut down for reasons which thousands of people in Belgium protested in the streets at the time. But clearly the police were pressured to " bury the thing "before many many bad people in our controlling elites found themselves exposed to be the monster,s that clearly they are.

But it would seem that this diabolical criminality beyond most human imaginations is far from over but continues without check !!

In 2008, Child Focus’ case managers dealt with 2177 missing persons and sexual abuse files, involving in total 2388 children. Of these cases:
  • 1 041 files concerning runaways (1 053 children); of which 47% concern children between 13 and 15, and 12% concern children below 13;
  • 435 files concerned parental abductions (331 children);
  • 351 files concerned missing unaccompanied migrant minors;
  • 49 files concerned an effective abduction by a third person, of which 3 concerned abductions by total strangers;
  • 21 files concerned lost or otherwise missing children (24 children);
  • 280 files concerned cases of sexual abuse of children (294 children), of which nearly 60% concerned children below 12

There is something is a bit fishy here isn’t there? Could it be that all these high profile individuals, Royal family members, politicians et al, do not want their perverse pedophilia games to end and they will do anything to enable their activities.

A massive pedophile network came to light and was hushed up and 20 key witnesses “Commited Suicide”

Belgium Pedophilia Scandal /Did Authorities Cover Up Its Scope?
Barry James, International Herald Tribune , 16/12/1999

BRUSSELS – In Belgium, the X-Files refer not to the U.S. television series but to a series of horrific witness accounts of an alleged pedophile network.

The five women and the male transvestite who testified
anonymously in Belgium under the code-name ”X ” described an underworld of snuff movies and sadomasochist torture that was almost impossible to believe. And they said that politicians and other highly placed members of society were involved.

The conventional wisdom is that the witnesses were either deranged or were recounting fantasies. It was, in the jargon of psychiatrists, a bad case of false-memory syndrome.

• But a new book by three crime reporters,

”The X-Files: What Belgium Was Not Supposed to Know About the Dutroux Affair,”
published in French and Dutch in November, asserts that the X-witnesses were more credible than the conventional wisdom suggests.

The cover up was so obvious that 300,000 Belgiums went to the streets to protest against the way the investigation was conducted.

At least 3 families of the victims have been convinced there is a massive cover up and at least 20 crucial witness have ‘committed suicide’. It seems to be very hard to get access to these X-files.

Maybe that has to do with the fact that many senior officials have been named as participants in the above crimes, including
members of the royal family and at least one former European Commissioner (name hasn’t been made public).

At the moment, I don’t see how Springmeier or Wheeler could have gained access to these secret hearings, but we’ll see where this story goes in the future. I’ll also check out the place the first time I’m getting near it. The chateau is not named in the usual lists of Belgium castles. Pictures and references are in very short supply.

(It’s kept very well hidden, just why is that? unless these people have something to hide!)

Chateau des Amerois The castle was owned by Prince Philipp von Saxe-Coburg-Gotha and later by the Solvay family.

The Solvay family is one of the leading industrial families of Europe (producer of medicines, plastics, and chemicals like fluor).

In their 1996 book, Fritz Springmeier and Cisco Wheeler (very unsure what to think of their information) referred to it as the ‘Mothers of Darkness castle’.

This obscure castle does indeed exist and has been named in late 1996 and early 1997 by at least one ‘X’ survivor of the Dutroux affair as a place where nasty things happened. Different witnesses who described child torture, child rape, child molestation, child hunting, and child murder have been declared ‘mad’, but only after all the original investigators were suddenly replaced.

There were also multiple claims of sex parties that were held in different castles. It didn’t matter that the witness accounts included many verifiable corroborative details and helped solve a couple of previous child murders.

11 Hidden ABANDONED SUBWAYS & Ghost Stations

Why do underground railway stations become abandoned, maybe the upkeep is too much and the costs cannot be met. Wars and depression can also add to the upkeep due to lack of funds. In other cases people preferred cars to trains. Some of these stations were built as works of art in themselves and it is sad to see their demise. The following stations each have their story to tell where the once grandiose designs now lie in ruins.

7 ABANDONED MANSIONS with Intriguing Backstories

There's something sad about the decay of a once-grand building, it’s like a testament to man’s vanity, opulence or even mortality. These once grand structures fell into disrepair, the once proud hallways, ballroom’s and bedrooms now play host to insects, dust or even the homeless which is rather ironic. The once elegantly constructed architecture is eroded by time and the elements. Here are seven crumbling mansions that are fascinating to look at with an intriguing history.

Connecticut's Most HAUNTED HOUSE GHOST SIGHTING REVEALS...

•29 Feb 2020 Weird World

On Brickyard Rd, North Woodstock in Connecticut, stands an old farmhouse. It was dilapidated and almost beyond repair. It was a huge house compared to the smaller farmhouses that surrounded it with sixteen rooms.

The house was built by the Lyons family in the middle of the 18th century where it became the Lyons Tavern. After they sold the property it changed hands many times and belonged to the Potters, Redheads, Ides where it continued to operate as a tavern.

From the late 19th century to the late 1940s it was owned by the Duprey family where it was no longer a public house but had become a private residence.
