New Yellow Fileprohost

I got this email today. Maybe news for someone...

Dear Fileprohost Users

The payments in the affiliates program are temporary disabled because of legal issues with our hosting provider.
We are in the process of installing new and bigger servers in a new location with a different hosting provider who will not give us such hassle.
This is going to happen within the next 2 weeks and then the payment program will be resumed
We are sorry for the troubles we have caused you with this

Fileprohost team

Default Re: Fileprohost

This is more of the crap that the IP protection industries have come up with. The idea is to prevent payment to cyberhosts in an effort to kill them off. It won't work very well in the long haul.

They tried this with AllofMP3, a Russian site when they got no where through legal processes. AllofMP3 then fragmented for a while as it sought it's own payment provider. It started coming back and it took additional pressure from the US diplomat to Russia to get the Russian government to intervene and pull the plug on the site.

This does the same for the on line payment processors as past actions have done for server hosting in the US. Instead of encouraging it and having a more robust economy, they have went in the opposite direction and now the world will hunt servers outside the US for internet purposes. So too, is there a vacuum for payment processors and someone else outside the US is going to fill that vacuum too.

I will post some stuff about Kim Dotcom later that shows where he is fixing to step on the toes of those that went after him.
