Extabit site
 

Hi everyone,
Wonder if someone had the same problem.
I registered with Extabit today and yes i received their cookie and confirmation mail.
So the next step was to become a Premium member.
Logged in and it was OK.
On the site http://extabit.com/premium.jsp# is displayed
"Get premium account and forget about the limitations!
Best choice!
1 month — $12.99"
When i push the green button "PayPal* nothing happens, except alternating the colour of the button.

My Firewall is working fine.
I thought that it was a Java problem and installed the latest Java Runtime Envirement Version 6 Update 31 because it looks like Java applets are integrated in their site, but i'm not an expert.
In Internet Explorer, the setting is;
1.Click Tools and then Internet Options
2.Select the Security tab, and select the Custom Level button
3.Scroll down to Scripting of Java applets
4.Make sure the Enable radio button is checked
5.Click OK to save your preference
Under Tools. Manage add-ons, Under Sun Microsystems, all the Java items are enabled. (If it is needed for jsp)
The security settings are default

If you read my many updates on threads you will see why I will never recommend them, you are one of many many complainants.

Thanks for the info, Ladybbird.
A lot of these operations, situated in Russia, are considered unsafe.
That is probably the reason that, some time ago, the PayPal button on their site stopped working. Just imagine what work Paypal would have to handle all the claims against that company. But i don't understand why uploaders still use Extabit.
A free downloader will wait a looooooong time to get something downloaded and a downloader can't get a premium account from them. So Extabit is useless.

I absolutely agree 100% with you as usual Al and just lately Extabit have announced their paypal account is disabled at the moment and thats their reason for not paying out. Hmph! I bet the reason is that Paypal have received so many complaints against Extabit, that, that is the real reason they cant pay out, or maybe have no intention of doing so eh?
