Default Unable to wake computer from sleep mode

When I put the computer into sleep mode. I cannot wake it using either keyboard or the mouse.

I think (am sure) that I used JV16 power tools to do a "clean up" amd that may(?) have deleted or changed an option in the registry or even the BIOS.

Thanks for any advice.

Bye the way I did use the powercfg -energy cmd. The HTML page was blank, just opend to my homepage. No info in it.

What is the OS? windows 7, vista, xp
What service pack is installed? sp1, sp2, sp3
Is it a PC, laptop, notebook?

JV16 should not be altering your BIOS just registry and file cleanup.

check power settings
check bios is acpi compatable and settings.

have you tried a system restore?
do you create reg backups when using jv16?

There are several possibilities which can be narrowed down from answering the above questions.

My apologies Wolfen for being so cryptic in my request. The problem was in the power settings as you pointed out. All is fine now thank you. I am sure that JV16, SP1 etc had nothing to do with the problem. OS Win 7. I've noted your suggestion for any future mishaps!

Thank you for your time and expertise.
