Question Windows 8 Will Not Work Well on All Tablets/Destops???

Or so it says on this report, which opens which this confusing paragraph;

Quote:
Many of the first wave of reviews of the Consumer Preview version of Windows 8 were based on tablets provided to reviewers by Microsoft. Given that Windows 8 will run on many millions of desktops and laptops, and on a relatively small number of tablets, that might seem an odd decision by Microsoft. But there's a reason for it: Windows 8 works better on tablets than traditional PCs, and Microsoft wanted the best press possible.

The rest of the report can be found here;

and one review here;

Im sticking with my "old fashioned Vista"
BRING BACK XP and the support for it. Still the best one IMO

What do you guys think?

Default Re: Windows 8 Will Not Work Well on All Tablets/Destops???

I was an XP addict since its inception.

It still has its bugs but a good OS.

But In My Opinion Win 7 professional 64 Bit OS is just as good & better in some
aspects.

I have a I7 8 core processor that I have had for a Year.

My PC was built the same day that processor came out.

I have had absolutely no problems at all.

I make retirement videos etc for people & this machine is very fast.

Its Backward compatibility with XP is absolutely great.

& I am a Gamer also.
